Cheer up its Christmas I said she said he said Bring on 22/12/22 Then hopefully we will all know .
Now Merry Christmas to all our shareholder and a prosperous new year.
I think we all have our suspicions but in all honesty no one here knows who’s selling or why and who is soaking up the stock.
A question for someone who understands these things better than me … Is it possible that BHP and/or NCM could have been the ones buying shares quietly as nervous PIs and Blackrock have been off-loading? And so no TR1s? This would make the AGM vote tighter and has been playing on my mind.
Same here BNC
Add I think maybe re confidence will return here once AGM safely negotiated and merger done.
My guess would be Blackrock are selling more but would love to know who’s picking them up. On the plus side it’s fewer shares to vote with BHP / NCM so that’s not a bad thing. As you say plenty has changed here and hopefully the market will catch up at some point.
covgaz, I wasn't telling him to f off, it was a genuine question.
If I find myself invested in something which has failed to live up to my expectations or is in danger of failing completely, I cut my losses and sell, which is what all sensible investors should do. It's painful experience but I can't think of many circumstances where I've come to regret it.
I have shared the same frustration as you, and were we going into this agm with the DC at the helm and with a repetition of the same tired old mantra of taking this to production, I would be voting against the board or, I would be selling. But we are not. Life has changed completely and a new direction of travel is being prepared and it strikes me as odd that some people can't see that. Yes, there have been endless mistakes - and I've been very critical of them, in fact far more than most, but I now have more confidence than I've had for a long time...particularly as we nearly $100m in the bank.
The "we're going to production" days are gone and we're looking at a very different world - surely that must give you and Orthern some renewed confidence?
Evening all. The large UT today has raised a question to me, and I would appreciate anyone who could shed some light. As it represents roughly 0.5 per cent of shares, could it be a single transaction or 2 or is it simply an accumulation of many small settlements during the auction? Is there any way of knowing??
Had my final top up today. Let the games begin !!

Hi Cov, you have my complete empathy - I also have some at 27p 25p 20p and most recent 17.6p - plus a others too - you're not alone..........not that that makes it easier.................
Sorry the orthen copper and others mentioned I maintain from the off never had anything positive / good to say about the company its prospects its resources or its management from the off - so sorry disgruntled from the off.................rang alarm bells when they joined and those alarm bells remain ringing in my ears - or maybe it's just tinnitus.........
Anyways nite
Take care
Maybe step away from this board for a while - cuz it certainly aint a healthy place to be - it used to be quite pleasant, where folks shared stuff and we learned stuff and had a larf - dont get me wrong there was also some bickering even back then but they were far more fun back then than now..............
Just want to wake up and see the SP rallying, but with good genuine reason..........and then news of an offer.......
Then I'd be cashing in all my chips - cuz aint going through this SOLG ringer [SLOG] again dont care what they have - they could have 10t per gramme gold (yes it's not a typo it's just me being daft but illustrating the point) and I'd still burger orf as well n truly had enough...................
R's & nite

I would assume the resident 'expert" has been either playing golf today , or buying SOLG shares for his wife or himself , or indeed selling a few only to tell us on Tuesday . DBW will totally back him/her up in whatever they suggest they have done , except murder.
Correct Sharket.
‘The way this company has been run has been objectively poor, from governance and fundraising to strategy and communication.’
And despite every bit of my frustration with Solg, and wanting to vote no to every resolution, I have voted yes, given our circumstances…. And the lack of any plan B is an issue in my opinion
Quady , tbh that the most sensible and honest answer /scenario looking at the market sentiment. Thanks for your thoughts.
Orthern is just less optimistic than most about a positive outcome here and is (rightly) disgruntled at how the company has been run for the last few years.
The quality of the asset in the ground is the only thing keeping many investors here. The way this company has been run has been objectively poor, from governance and fundraising to strategy and communication.
I would recommend re-reading the Sangha piece in the AFR where he started swinging for BHP and NCM. If you believe in his track record and ability to screw the over majors, buy this stock. If you don't, sell up and take the loss, because in 12 months' time it might be a lot bleaker.
We need SOLG to plot out the middle ground, the plan B should plan A fail.
Covgaz this is my first junior mining share, but my speciality over the last 40 years of investing is Tech, oil and gas and finance.
These are the sector's I mainly invest in and today my dividend income gives me more than an okay living.
I don't have all the answers, but over the years I have learnt a few things.
I will give you a thought experiment on Solgold.
Many on here say why wouldn't we get a bid for a tier one project. As this is highly desirable to own and the person who's successful in bidding will make a fortune from Solgold.
Yet the Same people say no one will give us finance for this extraordinary find.
That makes no sense.
I have made my money working out what is a good bet and what's not.
My strategy is I don't invest to make money, I invest not to lose it.
So we may get taken out and I will make money hopefully you will too.
But if we take this all the way, we make a lot more with exit points along the way.
We have take off agreements, so we can get the finance through bank loans. Yes some dilution, but as NM said it will be minimal.
Also maybe some more offtake, but also a partner stumping up a percentage.
Who knows maybe more than one partner.
This has a long way to go, as none of this is happening fast.
We now await the strategic review and we listen to what the company says in conjunction with the strategic review.
BN.c. Check my reply to Quady. It is what Othern is concerned about , and me too tbh. This really isn't go great guns to be honest. I have 3ok invested here @ 26p , so am quite a bit down. Im not a wealthy man and can ill afford to lose the 30k. I know it won't come to that. When folk like addict tell Northern to shut up or sell, who the fk does he/she is to advise that? The person has a right to complain . If he were me and 14k down , I would want to say it on this board and heard . To be told sell up and basically fk off is poor form.
But hey , they drive the platform eh.
Evening Quady. Yes what you say makes good sense , the only problem with that scenario is where does the cash come from without major dilution? How are we gonna pay for the JV?
Is it more streaming deals? More shares issued , the AGM want another 1.6 billion . All I can see is dilution and insecurity , and a big gamble for a takeover. No takeover or offer? Then what's the sp imho ? 8p? Where is the exit Quady for me in at 26? So basically no offer we're all skint ? Til 2029 at least :))
No expert Cov and never purported to be either
It does feel like the winds of change are blowing through SLOG however.
I stand by what I said re ortherncopper / they have never had a good word ever re SLOG - theyre on this board to spread doubt and fear nothing else -
Dont get me wrong blatant ramp artists are the other extreme and equally unpleasant and just as dangerous if not more so............
Tos1936 is another one constantly posting negativity and hasnt had a good word to say re SLOG Mather or anything.
BM123UK seems to have been bullied by NM in his past as he's constantly sl-agg-ing him off and casting aspersions NM's way ............
But as for me - no expert - never will be - but also can see clear as day who the decent folk on here are and who arent........ The list imo aint a very long one!
bn.c
Evening Covgaz, the only way this can go is we get to production.
Because if that's not possible, then no one will bid for us, until we get heavily diluted in which case we get a cheap bid. With the change in the story we now own 100% of ENSA.
So the story has changed. We are now attractive and although no one will bid for us, we can form a partnership or JV if you prefer.
This I think is the way forward now.
So the situation has changed.
The question is will someone give us a takeout bid and stop the JV.
I don't think people on here are paying enough attention to the 0.6% royalty we just obtained for 50 million.
So can we get ourselves to a position where we can do it.
When we owned 85% of ENSA, we had to go it alone and get CGP to cough up their percentage.
We can now look to JV Alpala and once that happens, we get no bid. It's game over
Sure it takes a few years to reap the rewards, but all successful investors are patient.
Just concentrate on your other holdings and building revenue or growing your capital.
All the best.
BN.c what a prat. The total expert. Plugged into Solgold Towers no doubt , must have inside info. Normal people have concerns , the usual suspects here talk the daily nonsense.
Quady , you really are the only person here talking any sense , and more to the point , how it is.
Otherwise we just have hope and concern , mixed in with plenty of BS from the daily stalkers.
Addicknt
Ref ortherncopper - he/she has had nothing positive to say about SOLG whatsoever in all their posting history - theyre here for a reason - to spread doom n gloom and despair..........
There are others that are also doing exactly the same thing and have done since they started posting..............
Again they're here for this very reason - disingenuous spreading of fear and worry...............its deliberate for a reason.

That’s a biggy DBW

Everyone here says that there will be a sale soon but why do so many people keep selling in the market the price is really low. Do the people who are selling not know about the the likely sale that everyone here knows about or is there some other reason that so many people are selling shares for such a low price? I bought on the merger news but the share has gone down and down and now I am worried there is something we don't know i hope not.
DBW - massive recent trading volumes supportive of the positive price action in due course. Ho Ho Ho
Cheers BPHIL , hope you're right mate. A blue day would help the mood!:)
That’s nearly 20m today …. Hmmm
Another 5.3m just printed Bogotá
