I am a VLTHER but I will not be participating in the placing to assist SAR as I am extremely disappointed that JR is not participating and showing his confidence in the future of SAR given all that we have done for him over the years. The other BOD members have also made feeble placing numbers given their salary increases..... ...JR not participating doe WORRY ME !!!!! and if we do still exist by year end then this is a question for him at the AGM
If I've read things right then 1801 may well be at least equal to Sotyktu, possibly even better.
The RNS noted, "...interim data shows that levels of SDC-1801 in blood are already in the expected therapeutic range, and achieve concentrations greater than those predicted to reduce signalling of cytokines dependent on TYK2 and/or JAK1 activity by 50% for a sustained period following once daily oral dosing."
So what this suggests is akin to a high jumper being able to clear the bar with room to spare. What remains to be seen is just how much higher can 1801 jump?
Sotyktu achieves a reduction of IL-17A, IL-19 and beta-defensin by 47% to 50%, 72%, and 81% to 84% respectively following 16 weeks of once-daily treatment (link below). 1801 appears to be in the 50%+ club so it's all still to play for.

Susi, do you have any idea how a junior biotech works? I'd say you don't , based on that post.
It is what it is LTH 's have been shafted and a real shame on P1b / 2a whatever were calling it, but new money has an opportunity now with good P1a results and with the tax credits they are funded through so we have the potential of a license deal just not in the 100s of millions...
£1.5M could last about 4-6 months at best. And as it is very unlikely to have any earnings by then, will they do another fundraise then? Cant see who would support another round of funding. This company is more like a charity, it is dependent on a never ending influx of money from investors gullible enough to constantly give as much money as demanded.
Closes at 12:00 noon on Tuesday 2nd April.
On a Bank Holiday weekend.
Interesting challenge for the brokers.
What is it on the boards part, arrogance, ignorance or confidence that all is going well and we are due spectacular news.
After all that’s gone on with SAR since T2s prediction of 7p (old money) that we would be back here below the .3 (old money) price, news led some to believe we were going to 28p(old money) some even suggested a £. Look at the progress SAR has made with its compounds since then. It’s a crying shame the bod has not mirrored this by steering and keeping us steady alone the way. In fact they have caused a major car crash. Surly all the previous hard work can’t just be in vain. GLA
'... overvalued by 1/3' but you don't say from what price!
i'm still saying 14- 15p today and 40-50p pre news, as long as churn doesn't brake sp too hard.
The placing @ 0.10 suggesting we were overvalued by 1/3.
Placing is nice though anyway.
Guys
Is this so many new shares per your existing holding ?
Blue finish ?
Not far behind you nicely!
Down here £72,943.06 (96.12%) in real money not paper profit!! 😭😭😭😭😭
All we can do now I suppose is wait and hope for a reasonable TO offer post P1a results!
(But even if we get one I'm sure that won't be anywhere near my £2.55 breakeven point! 😒)
Thanks Krusty, I will.
Surfie: "If (and ONLY if) you were a new investor this may be worth a punt at some point today but LTH's are f*cked. "
I'm a long-term holder & I assure you I'm not f*cked. I get pleasure from making money for myself and my family, which enables me to support some of the charities that have a particular significance to us, including CRUK. You, on the other hand, get pleasure from seeing other people's misery, but you yourself don't benefit from it. So, enjoy your day, I look forward to having mine.
Have we has one?
The little prick needs to be gone asap! This son of a d o g is taking the company back 20 years! Wish he would get booted out!!
I've no problem with shorters. If it's legal, then it's fair game and at least someone is making money. It's also nice to troll the so called saviors, those who are trying to save us money. Well, I'm a lost cause. I said earlier, I will keep buying while under a pound. I increased my pot by 20% this week. So the dillution is now covered. I will take part in the placing too, just for the lolz. And if your really are going to Disney land, hope you have a great time. We'll probably not see you until Tue, you know because it's, "family time". I wouldn't be looking at my phone if with my kids. Not worth the time you lose with them. Live in the moment, health, family and friends are more important.
Even with them having more shares, got to be a good target, assuming news remains favourable and considering the added dilution now.
wouldn't want to be better than 15p today as day trader churn becomes a real drag.
gla.
I notice John Reader isn't participating in the fundraise. They've always presented a united front in the past when raising funds. This suggests he's not happy about something - maybe he lobbied for an earlier raise when things would have been much less painful, or he didn't want to get on board with RF perhaps? Either way, it's not good. We need them to show a united front at this stage, more than ever.
Never say never.
That could well happen any minute now.
Great to see they are still involved
...the RNS stating that the trials have been completely successful drops later today?
I've topped up again this morning, as I believe in the long-term science of SAR. Blooming frustrated that the Board have allowed this to drop so much, but my topping up over the last few weeks means I now only need a SP of £3.26 to buy my Spitfire. Silver lining to the clouds... :)
Another top up for me hopefully last one
9am and the buying has started, good sign, onwards and upwards for the rest of the day.
Absolute bargain at these prices.
We could see 20p today and back in profit.
