I am sure those investors did not want to pay the £800 Million for the whole group, They now prefer to pay a smaller figure for what the think is the best part. And I bet they do not want to pay much for it.
Most people have big screens and soon as streaming is so easy with so much choice, film producers will sell direct to the consumer. People will save and enjoy more at home or even with friends. Cinema is finished..They are all over loaded with debt. They will not make money in this environment. Times have changed. Cinema like the high street, is dead.
I thin first is a nice new energy deal with ENO. Then the West Med could be sold for cash leaving with us with a free carry. Then there are other nice possible scenario possible a little later down the line.
