Down 35% today to 14.7p RNS debt for equity.
All time low the 14.7p , early and mid December 2023 they were 17p previous all time low , rebounding to 40p by 27th December.
Familiar names here emerald carrots , scoredagainsteps just two .
scoredagainsteps posted he sold out on 1/2/23 around 17p they were 40p at month ending .
If it goes into administration, they don't have to buy the shares back. This is the shorters dream - they don't even have to plan their exit!
Yes and then a bounce up as we unlock the billions in backlog. Lots to be excited about in the medium long term.
Ok fair enough if you say you have.. I take the view that we are diluted like the rns says and we will rise from the fire. The creditors don’t want a total loss.
Or we just get Taken over before then - GL if you decide to come back in.
Check my posts, sold out this morning and wished holders good luck.
I will be back if I think there’s money to be made from the PFC corpse.
Well u better sell up if you think so. Am just reading the rns- prefer to go with facts. Good luck with ur goose
Agree - there is bound to be suitors circling. It’s going to be an exiting wait now for the month of May. Looking forward for the update on 31st.
PFC will go into Admin, then opposition (potential bidders) will pick up pieces they want with no debt and no redundancy payments to make. It’s called a Pre pack.
I strip companies in print industry (pre press equipment) this happens every week (on a lot smaller scale than PFC) but exactly the same.
Snapper - Maybe 3rd time lucky for Halliburton but this time round they only need to pay a fraction of £25, you never know !
It will likely drop below 10p tomorrow as people exit before suspension on Wednesday. Could be a huge gap down once results posted end of may
Apothecary.
It's free speech. Read through my posts.
Just need some balance as people can get taken in by the rose tinted spectacle wearers on these forums ...
And no I don't short.
We'll theres stupid......
Tells you something about PFC
A 5p tranche would be lovely followed by a bid in the summer but I don’t think we will get the chance to get in that low.. I could be wrong.
Me too 5p /4p what ever - will lower my average
Assume ur short too otherwise why are you posting on this forum?
Snapper - Halliburton have known PFC well. In fact, Halliburton did look into taking over PFC twice in the past (2012, 2017). https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-2246062/MARKET-REPORT-Petrofac-gushes-talk-bid.html.
Snapper assume u have a holding here based on the number of posts you are making? Or have you an open short position?
Ur clearly passionate about posting here on urging people to sell. One does ponder your intentions?
Apothecary
Look forward to your 5p then ....
Total 🛎end
If you can read a RNS its pathetic....
Anyone selling tomorrow at a big loss is crazy. There has got to be a reason they allowed this to trade for 2 days before closing off the trading of the stock for a month. They could have issued a pre close rns tomorrow evening…. Noting that the trading is closing tomorrow….I really doubt it’s to allow weak holders an exit!! Before it goes bust/worthless Hold ur nerve. It’s nice to see some contributors on here holding/buying. Lots of ppl on here spouting rubbish urging us to sell. If you don’t hold a position? Go and drivel on another share. GLA
Halliburton are a oilfield service provider and major service provider for US Government...
PFC PFC undertake 90% of there revenue on EPC contracts.....
Gary - Halliburton’ finance: $23B revenue, Gross profit margin ~ +19%, net profit $2.6B vs PFC : 2.6B revenue , Gross profit margin ~ minus 5% and $340M loss in 22. PFC BOD have to improve the margin significantly. If not, they have no future.
Gary
Contractors will only work for PFC on a cash positive position....
But that aint going to happen......
That ship sailed.....
The accounts show losses....
On EPC contracting 10percent profits aint there....
10% sounds a massive challenge.
I work in Construction and the industry average is 2.5 to 3 %.
They will have issues with suppliers and payments now for a further challenge
Snapper10 - "Wheres this 10% margin going to come from..... ?" That's is the challenging job which PFC BOD have to show/prove to the lenders not mine !
