Have to say that it would not be surprising to see one of the shorts has reduced their exposure as we go into the easter break.
Not saying that its suddenly going to be down to 5%, but just a little nibble off the 11% might be on the cards
To me short selling is like someone borrowing my car at night, whilst I think it is parked in my locked garage, and using it to earn a living only to return it to me in the morning, sometimes shagged out and useless, without even giving me a cut of what they earnt overnight.
Exactly how is a placing at 20p going to pump in the many millions that some say are needed
It is not as if the shorting crew are thinking that at quick $50M is going to do the job, they are thinking that $400-$500M, or more, is required, why else would you extend your short, as some did, with the sp below 30p
With absolutely no foundation,
First Abbatar tour date - Friday May 27th 2022
Just leaving it out there
I am a bit lost
What is this thing called "new app"
Have been out Dinosaur hunting this morning and bagged myself a TRex, that was easy
I wonder if AM and SH genuinely thought that when they launched their VR app that by now that they would have hundreds of millions of users, just like that, and that they now genuinely believe that the fact that they haven't is nothing to do with them and that it is everyone elses fault
Further, should the Napster/MVR combo prove to be successful, as many here hope, perhaps they now perceive that they will not receive the riches and adulation of being a 'Steve Jobs' like figure, something that they perhaps either aspire to be, or believe that they are.
From memory Steve Jobs appreciated share holders and delivered value to them.
@HarryCaul - what makes you think this is the bottom ?
I understand that a tin of beans has aleady been procured as a stand in
Good news whilst 'coming soon' can't come soon enough
If you want a dose of reality, look at the traffic metrics for www.napster.com at;
https://www.similarweb.com/website/napster.com/#overview
Daily site visits at the start of 2021: 2M
Now : 1.5M
Seems as good a measure as any to watch when things kick into gear
For comparison www.spotify.com gets nearly 400M daily visits
I've asked it
Others have asked it
But nobody has supplied a credible answer to the question......
Why is no effort being made to reinvigorate the marketing of the existing Napster proposition to attract some new members ahead of the revamped app launch ? ...... it seems a no brainer
Surely one extra tweet a week is not too difficult, or perhaps it is ?
Or is it going to be a free giveaway subscription to a premium channel/service of 3 or 6 months at app launch, on the basis that it is all about price and 6 months free takes you up to the start of festival season 2022, just when you are most likely to pay
The Napster thing seems to me to be at the bottom of it's particular pit
I call it a "Thing" because nobody outside of AM's clique really know what we will be presented with at the end of the year
What I think can be said is that user numbers of the VR/360 element of the "The thing" will grow
User numbers of audio element of "The thing" wil grow
History of such "Things" suggest that more money will be called for at the relaunch at the end of the year
My only hope is that "The Thing" doesn't turn out to be a horror story
Just for interest,
