How about opening with the market cap at 5 times revenue
The Sunday Telegraph is predicting huge increases for online sales this Black Friday compared to last year.
Comparable sales for the first 2 weeks of this November are already 60% up on last year and with up to 90% of people expected to do their shopping online this year Black Friday could go through the proverbial roof.
What can we expect here ? double last years sales ?
Should be worth a penny or two on the sp at least !!!
I still don't understand how they have managed this.
Its almost like your local hardware store has gone out and bought Wickes - its mad really.
I truly believe that they can re-energise the Napster brand with live streaming music (video optional).
Its almost as if the VR angle suddenly does not matter as much and just becomes a "play" that may or may not work.
All the best
Just in case you ever wondered about how far MelodyVR still had to go in their journey before Napster came along, and just how important the Napster acquisition is, then one might consider the importance and influence of the home web page on the internet.
How do you measure this ? well one measure might be the authority of the website and the number of links/backlinks it has, so using a site like ahrefs.com you can see how influential a website is.
For any site they provide, free of charge, data on;
"Linking" means links within and outward from the website
"Backlinks" means website that have a referring link back to the website (the most important measure)
"Authority" is their measure of how influential the webpage is, it is a score out of 100, for example Facebook scores 100
(You can do all this yourself for any website that you may be interested in)

Mel5 - Interesting question
Have MVR bought Rhapsody lock stock and barrel, or is it just a controlling interest ?
The language used so far would suggest lock, stock and barrel and not just a controlling interest.
Have to admit that I had not looked at Tidal in any detail.
For anyone who wants to read a bit about them for the first time, this article from earlier this year looks to be as good as any;

There was an interesting investor presentation from RealNetworks published yesterday at;
https://s23.q4cdn.com/159960945/files/doc_presentations/RNWK-Presentation-November-2020_Final.pdf
Page/Slide 11 gives some information on the Napster/MelodyVR deal and what has to happen for the deal to go through, it goes on to state that the deal is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Page/Slide 12 gives revenues for RealNetworks, but excludes Napsters revenues (Boo, it is panto season afterall).
If you go to this link you can see Napsters revenues, by quarter, since Q1 2019
https://www.statista.com/statistics/1100654/napster-subscription-revenue-worldwide/
Most importantly, in the investor presentation published yesterday this statement appears at the bottom of page 12.
“In the third quarter of 2020, RealNetworks announced its support for the acquisition of Napster by MelodyVR Group.”
In case anyone missed it
Napster is building their relationship with SONOS.
Previously they announced this;

I think Pud is thinking about his dumpspots when they relist and his short has a problem.
50rell - have you not noticed that every time there is any significant volatility then LSE shuts up the chat BB's for the day as part of their Covid strategy.
Perhaps if they spent some of their advertising revenue, which appears to be considerable these days, on better servers and a bit more bandwidth, then the service might work as advertised.
Who have been whinging for 3 years that we need an A list star, somebody I know, someone mainstream
Well now we have Liam and I say more power to their elbow
Bu now, everyone should be getting over their buyers remorse in respect of Napster, and for me the timing is becoming clear
Put on some A list stars (hopefully more than just dear old Liam) in November
Improve the name and brand recognition
Put out the admission document mid/late November
Relist the share early December
Get the SP up over 10p
Fund raise
Check out the Spotify growth chart, plot relative position and move on.
We might even get an MVR branded low cost phone holding headset for Christmas - I bet most of us have forgotten all about that possibility
Not a great day for covid stocks, but testing is still needed because whilst the PCR test answers the question "who has it" they will still need to answer the question "who has had it" - I think ODX might be able to help there !
I fond it both surprising and depressing that our highly educated and self aware media organisations seem unable to make the leap, in respect of mass testing, from whose got it, to whose had it
Moose2010, trades may be made outside of 'normal' trading hours
https://www.tradinghours.com/exchanges/lse/trading-hours
London Stock Exchange Extended Hours Trading
The London Stock Exchange is open for the following trading sessions:
Opening Auction from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Closing Auction from 4:30 PM to 4:35 PM
Post Close from 4:40 PM to 5:15 PM
Stocks can always be traded on the London Stock Exchange during regular trading hours (listed above).
But there are also Extended Hours Trading during which trades may be made. There is significantly less trading volume during extended hours. Lower volume results is a larger spread, bigger price jumps, more volatility, and more risk. Extended Hours Trading allows investors to act quickly on information that comes out after markets closed.
In the past, only large institutional investors could participate in Extended Hours Trading. Due to the emergence of electronic trading platforms, individual investors are now able to trade during extended hours as well. Depending upon your broker, you can usually choose to execute trades during pre- or after-hours or only during regular trading.
Iofas - are you going to suggest someone as the next reverse takeover, or are you just leaving it there ?
