I would just wish to draw a parallel between GamesWorkshop and Melody using something I saw posted on ADVFN today.
"At least one new video is uploaded to Warhammer TV every day across YouTube and Facebook platforms, detailing how to build and paint models as well as unbox the kits. This is a marked improvement from 2016 when only 40 videos were uploaded in a year."
As anyone will know the share price of GAW has gone up 10 fold over this period.
Melody are following a similar track with an increasing rate of output, which in turn will generate an increasing fan base who in turn will market the company
The fan base will mostly be the younger generations who will return and consume for years to come, a marketing mans dream.
Yes, young consumers are always tarts with their consumption, but awareness stays so provided Melody stick to creating an ethical brand which produces quality output with genuinely popular entertainers their star will only rise.
This is not a cross promotion of GAW as you have truly missed the boat on that one
Listening to the JoJo interview it seems to mevthat MelidyVR have some work to do to educate the performers on how their performance can be viewed
Dont know if this has been posted before

I think lighter, but not lightweight
Ending the Go does of course end the relationship with Xiaomi in China
So maybe some politics in there, maybe someone was getting worried about tech transfer, maybe FB just want to have their own tech
I think FB have just decided headsets need to be cordless, lightweight and with wholly owned tech
Can't really argue with their thinking.
Some further comment on the demise of the Go and the Quest 2
https://developer.oculus.com/blog/the-next-chapter-of-oculus-development-and-a-new-quest-distribution-path-coming-in-2021/
The Quest is now the go to VR headset
In my super arrogant opinion, if you are considering the Go then the financial jump to the Quest is next to nothing.
Millions think nothing of dropping £1000 on an iphone, so why worry about a couple of hundred on a headset - its the same target market and I think FB know it.
Press speculation on the Quest 2 at this link

What will the Quest Mk 2 look like ???
The problem is that the USA is the target market for MVR and it is difficult from the UK to see what is being done over there.
By target market I mean bidders for MelodyVR
Always worth a repost - just for those that missed it

Will Melody limit users / views ?
Isn't Melody about getting into sold out shows ?
If Melody do cap usage and they "sell" out (I know its free) in a minute, then I will be happy
On the Live Nation website all the adverts for cancelled or rescheduled shows go to a proper web page
Wireless doesn't, it goes to a 404 error, meaning they have made a mistake with their redirect, which is unusual as all the other links work perfectly
This is the link the wireless advert tries to reach, it has exactly the same structure as the links that do work for other cancelled shows
https://www.livenation.co.uk/show/1300020/wireless-festival-2020/london/2020-07-05/en
This is odd
For interest
If you start advertising the word combination, "wireless connect" using Google Adwords so that you get an Ad at the top of a search listing with those words then you would pay at least 82p each time the advert link is clicked.
OK for 10,000 clicks, but for a million?
Has anyone noticed that nobody is complaining about Melody not doing stuff.
There are obviously still murmurings about numerous aspects of the companies performance, such as marketing, the effectiveness of the BOD, the share price etc etc.
But, the company is now doing what it started out to do, ie broadcast live music.
Not going to be 63p for long
It is good to remind ourselves of the market potential from time to time

Lordfont, you worry prematurely. The technology to produce 3D film from a 2D film image is alive and well

So, should MVR actually manage to aquire the rights to say, Elvis Presley's 68 comeback special you could indeed watch it in 3D. Whether you would actually like it, as compared to your wistful memories, now thats a different question that nobody can help you with.
