To me it seems like MVR will be a company that has a annual revenue which has jumped from £200K to £75M ($100M)

The debt of $44M is significant, but the creditors have allowed the repayment can to be well and truly kicked down the road and so will not put the squeeze on the company. How long they will wait until putting their hand only the BoD knows.

In the meantime revenue from Napster will probably meet most of the current running costs which gives them time.

I might be hopeful, but I do believe that going from being, by definition, a small business to a mid sized, or medium sized business overnight (Yes, I do realise that the "overnight" here is more than 3 months.) would normally warrant an increase in the share price, whether this is sustained or not is a different question.

For those that think the share price will drop because they are fed up with having their money tied up, I simply say that this is what everyone, bar the few day traders caught on the wrong foot, has been waiting for, so our illustrious LTH's may sell, but I suspect that they will hold, for the most part, to see where the ride goes.

Jimmy, do you not think the bargain with KPMG is that they audit the supply chain and assist with any rectification needed, then become auditor (because they are happy with their own work) and get to charge more or less whatever they want to put BOO where it has to be

The Sunday Telegraph is predicting huge increases for online sales this Black Friday compared to last year.
Comparable sales for the first 2 weeks of this November are already 60% up on last year and with up to 90% of people expected to do their shopping online this year Black Friday could go through the proverbial roof.
What can we expect here ? double last years sales ?

I truly believe that they can re-energise the Napster brand with live streaming music (video optional).
Its almost as if the VR angle suddenly does not matter as much and just becomes a "play" that may or may not work.

Have MVR bought Rhapsody lock stock and barrel, or is it just a controlling interest ?
The language used so far would suggest lock, stock and barrel and not just a controlling interest.

Have to admit that I had not looked at Tidal in any detail.

Page/Slide 11 gives some information on the Napster/MelodyVR deal and what has to happen for the deal to go through, it goes on to state that the deal is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Page/Slide 12 gives revenues for RealNetworks, but excludes Napsters revenues (Boo, it is panto season afterall).

Most importantly, in the investor presentation published yesterday this statement appears at the bottom of page 12.
“In the third quarter of 2020, RealNetworks announced its support for the acquisition of Napster by MelodyVR Group.”

I think Pud is thinking about his dumpspots when they relist and his short has a problem.

Part of the decline could be down to the earnings in USD being worth less than before as the dollar weakens.

50rell - have you not noticed that every time there is any significant volatility then LSE shuts up the chat BB's for the day as part of their Covid strategy.

Perhaps if they spent some of their advertising revenue, which appears to be considerable these days, on better servers and a bit more bandwidth, then the service might work as advertised.
