Got to stop you there DRB, I’ve proven many times I don’t trade this piece of cr4p but on hindsight I wish I’d shorted it. If you would like to see that proof again, search my tweets or drop me a DM
During that 18 month period you refer to there was definitely 1 period where you miraculously turned positive overnight and it lasted a good few weeks. I remember it quite well as it came shortly after you admitted to trading this share.
How can anyone trust someone who on one hand apparently holds shares here in the hope that one day the SP rises and then on the other hand says they are 100% negative about this stock to protect others from buying such a bad stock. Talk about sending out mixed messages.
You're protecting no one byp. You have created this crusade for yourself to maybe give yourself some worth in this world. Unfortunately for you, you're the only one here that believes it. Good luck with your trading.
I see Anthony Dyer has now joined the board of Lovehemp on 5th July 2022. I wonder what our retired couple are too?

Isn't 2/3 of the shareholder base on the Euronext. So 33% of holders on LSE. I don't know the exact split but it's likely that a big chunk of those 33% are II's, HNW individuals, traders or highly experienced PI's. Let's say half leaving us with 16% of PI's with low to medium amounts of experience. Of this I am one. Most of those PI's will respect that investing on AIM is not a game and that this is real hard earned money we are risking. I'd like to think 9 in 10 of us would do our research including reviewing past and recent rns's, company website, industry journals, news articles, investor webinars, yes chat forums etc. That leaves the 1 in 10 who may be susceptible to following in the rampers or derampers for that matter. So that's 1.6% of shareholders that may be blindly influenced by the ramp/deramp brigade. Now, not all of those 1.6% will be on the LSE chat forum. So now we're less than 1%.
Supposing a few weeks of hard ramping managed to entice all of the 1% in all at the same time (which it wouldn't), would it really have a significant effect on the SP.
I think you might be barking up the wrong tree byp.
My opinion of the BOD is that they are deliberately holding information back and control exactly what is going to be released as RNS . Even price sensitive information affecting SP they hold back information unless it suits them . Just look at last RNS , they clearly knew about some deals and products to be released , but saved it all for the negative H1 trading update and lumped it all in there .
Is it because they want the SP to continue a downward trend , it certainly allowed the big fat chairman to come in and use his lunch money to buy some shares , or was it just to stick two fingers up private investors .
If only he had saved himself too instead of holding on all the way down to £1 - strange really when he has so much more insight than us!
Byp, you should consider changing your name to little white knight. Save us all from the rampers.
That last message couldn't sum up it up anymore...
And no it's not a fact at all, I posted this two weeks before that 7th July comment:
'I bolstered my holding and bought a few shares back this morning.'
Previously I had shared that I had reduced my holding after Q1 results (at a considerable loss) due to the disappointing revenue figure. I really don't see what is deceptive about any of that? I have held shares for a long time now but have reduced / bought more depending on my confidence. Is that allowed? Does that make me an evil trader or someone just trying his best to protect his capital when times look less sunny?
Since the latest big drop I have simply held. I have very much lost the faith for now but will aim to hold on until at least the DHSC dispute is settled.
Harchris, it’s not discriminatory!
It’s just a fact, all you traders think it’s fine to buy low, come back on the board and start ramping for your ten percent. You have no morals whatsoever.
You only came back on the 7th July on the back of Novacyt SP tanking and thought you could make a quick small profit. Anyone can see from your history you just jump around the same group of shares and buy on the low and sell a few days later. Why you trying to be positive on this share now, you sold and derisked at £1.50, so you obviously don’t think the share is going to rise much or have any belief in it. Which is fine, none of us do but don’t trap others for your own selfish reasons.

RE: Master plan15 Jun 2022 08:05
Hi crl123 - I didn't exactly buy the bottom sell the top, I reduced at 151p which looks okay on paper now I suppose, especially if I buy them back. I agree with you I've just got to decide whether or not I'm happy to wait it out that long, in truth I've felt better recently with a smaller holding as at times I was rather overexposed here.
Imo where @byp falls down is the non discriminatory way he calls out anyone who is positive, optimistic or has frankly called this grossly wrong and labels them as rampers. I make a clear distinction between a holder who gets carried away (DRB possibly falling into that category) and the manipulative traders who hype and hyperbolise in order to rope in as many naive others as they can to help spike the share price and get their 10%.
I don't think my predictions were ever anywhere near as high as those in the £20+ club but I certainly thought this was a very low risk investment from about £4 onwards and have proved to be completely incorrect on that front.
Wilson,

Never ever offer to perform marketing for free again.
Many such careless individuals have spent Saturday morning between sandwich boards, or in a Monkey suit.
Let that be a lesson to me.

lol....gosh...must try harder to recoup my current ncyt paper losses!
Time well spent there byp, 9 months worth of posts scrolled through. I always like to consider the context surrounding a post though. Back in October there was a lot of talk around Ncyt being a £2.5bn company. I was merely providing the calculation to determine what level of non covid revenue would be required to justify a £2.5bn company. There was no mention of a time limit.
My comment regarding not being a million miles away goes to show how DA and the gang have significantly let us investors down. To think I thought that target was achievable I was probably factoring in a 5 year timeline. DA says £100m. That is the size of disappointment DA has provided. Pretty sure most of us were taken back by the £100m 5 year target when it was announced. I mean, come on!!
1. £100m war chest
2. In an industry that should have been preparing for the next pandemic meaning POC testing demand on the up
3. Global reach of our distribution arm
4. Mygo/q machines being embedded in hundreds of labs worldwide.
5. 500+ test catelogue ready to be CE marked and converted to be used on mygo/Q's
6. Global first responder Bioinformatics team
7. World class R&D department
8. Probably 70+ sales reps at our peak.
9. Abilities to cover both PCR, rapid PCR and LFT and soon to be 'at home' testing
10. Talks of a 10 min PCR test
11. Talks of M&A
12. New CEO on board with what appeared to be a solid history in S&M (a new CEO can often create a buzz and a revival of a fledgling company
13. Back in October, there would have been lots of hope that the dreaded dispute would be wrapped up and put to bed. Certainly would have been factored into a 5 year plan.
14. In bed with UNICEF/WHO and still winning contracts with the NHS
15. Did I mention £100m in cash to make something happen.
When you factor all of this into a 5 year plan based on where we were then I believe £475m revenue would have been a challenging but achievable target. I wasn't to know that DA wasn't the right man for the job and that time would just pass us by with nothing to show for it. Certainly not a baseless ramp as you imply as I always try to give context and meaning behind my estimates and predictions so people have enough information to correct me if I'm wrong.
Apologies all for the lengthy post and thanks byp for pulling up the past as it shows quite clearly how poor DA and the bod have been imo.
Captain, the only buzz word compatible with CEO is please " BUZZ OFF" . A complete inadequate person for the job. Destroyed shareholder value.

DRB….just being realistic. Let’s look at this positive post from you back in October…….definitely not a ramper are you, lol!

"Couldn’t have picked a worse inexperienced CEO in my opinion."
it is his first ceo job isn't it?
i guess his job interview went well with him saying all the right buzz words .......or word salad. however has been found to be lacking in any substance
From 07.07.2022 RNS
"..the Company has signed a contract with a leading global non-governmental organisation (NGO) to support the detection of arboviruses, including dengue, Zika and Chikungunya, with the total value of the first order approximately £220,000."
+++
Lets hope this is the beginning of notification of smaller contracts AND THEIR VALUE, and that we don't have to wait long for NOTIFICATION - BY RNS PLEASE!
There are a lot of new products being launched, and no reason why CONTRACTS should not be SIMLARLY NOTIFIED.
+++
If anyone from Novacyt is reading this, please clarify your new product description to include answers to questions posed recently by Kaeren (10 July, 20:34):
"Seventeen new PCR assays sandwiched between negative news , FIFTEEN of them non covid.
What 8 new STD assays? Which distributor ? Do they have sole distribution rights ?
What NGO have you signed a contract with to supply tests to support detection of Arboviruses such as dengue , Zika and Chikungunya. How long is the contract for ?
What global health provider have you signed a three year agreement with to provide instruments and reagents ?
Why no mention of the new LFTs, just woffle about a new reader, which unless I'm mistaken can be bought off the shelf.
So many bits of info, none delivered in such a way that holders can comprehend potential fiscal worth.
I don't accept all the above is NDA.
The dispute yes , but every other diagnostic company sings from the hilltops about new releases / contracts."
++++
I hope the sales documentation does not leave potential clients with as many questions.
PLEASE SELECT STRATEGIC HILLTOPS AND START SINGING !!
If Novacyt can come up with a suitable Yodel, I will take some Yodelling lessons!
Byp..... Its hard to move when your hands and feet are tied and your thrown under a desk... The company culture had changed with contract win they made it...... Door slams..... No ideas... Blame... Discontent.... Stagnation.......nothings changed....... . He threw it all on the table in one big bundle... Why.... More important things to do than worry what you or i think...... Good
Whether they win*
Easy chair - we’re not getting any big contracts whilst the dispute drags on. We’ve lost credibility due to it. It’s killing the SP and sales. It’s almost like the gov don’t care whether the El but just want NCYT crushed out of spite.
Here you go again byp. This self proclaimed crusade you're on to call out rampers has totally consumed you. Every other sentence references rampers or ramping. You've become what I have diagnosed as ramper blind where you can no longer identify a genuine long term holder being positive about a company in which they have thousands of pounds invested. To you, everyone is ramping and as a result you have inadvertently made your knight in shining armour crusade meaningless and insignificant. But I'm sure you won't take any note of any of this and just carry on regardless. I await your next ramper post which I am sure will be along any moment.
Hi neilrich good find.... Usa... Covid has never left..... Social unrest..growing .... Media coverage of covid increase or decrease....
Looks like more testing opportunities coming. I hope we can grab some of the action. Imho we are better equipped now we have our saliva LFT. Europe must be our biggest customer base for this type of test. Come on CDTA get our test approved for sale here. As a matter of interest, have any of the Chinese LFT been approved ??
