Isb, Paul stated there would be contract awards before year end - I'm not sure how you can claim that last week's annoucement wasn't what he was referring to?
Yes, it was frustratingly insignificant when viewed in the wider context of the unawarded RFQ amount. But as mentioned previously, the 2026 revenue allocation given in the presentation for contracts announced before year end was quite low. So these awards were never going to be substantial. The figures provided were for known contracts, that's not to say a significant 'unknown' contract couldn't arrive before year end.
I still believe we'll get one more at least. But you may not be happy with the amount again!
Isb, undoubtedly the $15m award is disappointing, but they had signalled in the revenue forecast that the expected awards between now and year-end would not be significant. Martin mentioned they would account for 10% of revenue in 2026. I lowered my expectations after hearing that. Still believe we'll get another one before Christmas, but again it may not be substantial.
I suspect we're all hoping for that 100m+ contract that will blow the doors off. Perhaps next year.
Hi Maps,
Midway down in the below piece. To clarify - by end of FY 24 I'm referring to June 24.

Judging by the Stifel comment that it will be the end of FY24, I'm expecting it will now be next year. That and the fact Paul made zero reference to it in the last proactive interview. Will be pleasantly surprised if it arrives by the end of this CY.
Expecting lots of long awaited auto contracts in the interim which hopefully drives some momentum here.
Oldfool, a far as I'm aware Stifel are usually hired to target II's not PI's. Now you can question their impact in that regard, but I'm sure if Paul and the board were unhappy with their performance the relationship would have been ended by now. It's II's coming on board that will get this moving eventually, not PI's.
I've had an issue like that on accession where it just shows "connecting" continuously. Closing the app completely to reestablish the connection usually works, if you haven't attempted already. If not try clearing cache as well.
Risehall1 with a well reasoned post - as usual - amongst a cesspit of ramping and deramping in the last few days. Delighted with the rise but also baffled by it, but then there's no making sense of AIM movements at times - sentiment can drive some massive gains and falls here.
Following on with the slow seatbelt uptake, I found this little snippet on a blog recently which was interesting.
Thirty-seven thousand Americans died in car accidents in 1955, six times today’s rate adjusted for miles driven.
Ford began offering seat belts in every model that year. It was a $27 upgrade, equivalent to about $190 today. Research showed they reduced traffic fatalities by nearly 70%.
But only 2% of customers opted for the upgrade. Ninety-eight percent of buyers chose to remain at the mercy of inertia.
Things eventually changed, but it took decades. Seatbelt usage was still under 15% in the early 1980s. It didn’t exceed 80% until the early 2000s – almost half a century after Ford offered them in all cars.
It’s easy to underestimate how social norms stall change, even when the change is an obvious improvement. One of the strongest forces in the world is the urge to keep doing things as you’ve always done them, because people don’t like to be told they’ve been doing things wrong. Change eventually comes, but agonizingly slower than you might assume.
PROP5, not quite sure on the assertion. If I recall correctly, one of directors - in an unguarded moment perhaps -mentioned it could years to resolve the dispute. This was said at some stage earlier this year I believe.
