.... you held this for a year .... so you need to take off 17p for divis ... which is included in my figure .... ;)
Result yesterday. I dont understand change of dividend policy
you've done well there temple, 20% divi on your investment is amazing, i don't know what mine is, but my avg is 162, so probably should have seen this coming and skipped out last week in the 170's
8% yield gives a price of 187p for NAH so no reason why 2 cannot be reached and always the possibility of a value picker taking the company out.
I had half profits bought back at 170p from 180p ..... Happy to pick up a bunch at 148 and 145 this morning .... MMs would not sell to me at 140p .... Average hold price gives me a 20% dividend going forwards .. was expecting 8p so 10p is great. GLA.
yeah, i'm kicking myself for not getting out last week as well, was hoping for slightly better results
crazy reaction, luckily for some reason?? sold out last week but back in at 143p. It has got to be worth 2 as I said in December.
oh i see, performance as expected, with additional costs reducing the profit, and additional planned investment to develop the business cuts the divi back a bit, meaning the market knee-jerked !
just happened, haven't read all of the RNS yet, but is it that bad for a 15% crash ?
Forgive me folks......though the close price for yesterday (Friday) is showing correctly here....the current bid and relevant ask price are more like what we've been used to and significantly lower than the close. Does this therefore lend itself to suggest that the prices indicated will be the opening prices on Monday morning and all yesterdays gains have been wiped out effectively....just confused on this LSE site compared to others......thanks
i was tempted to top up at 140 but had no funds, and now i'm actually in the blue on the bright side, my methods aren't terrible and i'm about on the right track with some of my investments, cant help but think what if, had i been able to top up !
it has been slow but will probably sprint up to 2 now
Took a while to get back to 160 from 150 but ... GREAT :)
their plans to become less reliant on the Personal Injury side of the business is coming together with the Alternative Business Structure plans moving forwards, hopefully this will be the start of a build back towards my average! Looks like we've found the bottom and climbed out of it a bit, now just need to sustain that growth and SP progression
Do not know Big Cheese, cannot find anything, was not really a Director Buy, just an exercise of options which has netted him a very tidy sum.
Hi Anyone know why This jumped 10% today? Was just the director buy? Ta Glad I hold!
10% finish on the day ..... nice :)
I'll be a buyer again in the mid 120's it might get there it might not ... who knows ... the yield here is excellent and one can expect the share to climb back up to 200p given the current dividend. GLA
if i'd avg'd down on the low, i'd have been able to exit about even (up with divi's) prior to the dividend, but as i didn't i'm still holding the higher average, that said, it has just paid me a total of 11% dividend for this year, and as i can afford to hold then there is a silver lining to this :)
... so my "hold" here is comfortable with "slack" so time to move on to another share to make some more money .... :)
"How long have you been investing in shares?" ..... Long enough to understand that today is the Ex-Dividend day .. which requires about 2 minutes of time to grasp the idea ... and the shares I sold today at 137 having bought back at 140 from 143.5 sales bearing in mind trading costs carried a 2.3p premium ... ... but then my average hold here with 2x divis is now down ... to 1.1765 so assuming a cut in the final dividend to average 12p for the year .. means a 10% return covered 1.5 times ... which I'm happy with :)
Stupid sight is blocking emojis again 🤡
You are not entitled to the divi if you buy today😲 But if you sell today you are entitled to the divi 😲 Because you are on the books on record date tomorrow because the trade is not completed until close of play tomorrow😏 As that sorted it out for you all 🤔I finished selling this am.just my odd 4 doom 😂So see you around 🤥 Good luck to you all inc. you rude man doom. 👋💰
ToD, re-read the company RNS and my previous post. You have to buy before 28th Sep AND stay on the register on 29th Sep. Both conditions must be met to qualify for the dividend. How long have you been investing in shares?
