They would not be required to give an update just because shareholders had asked for one.

Read the rules co0ncerning requirements for RNS.

Having been told they are in discussions it would require an RNS to say those discussions have ceased, therefore they are still in discussions

Yes Avion are still involved and Yes we are still in negotiations re P140.

Because the moment either are not happening it would require an RNS to tell us so.

You need patience,, research how long these deals can take, it can be 9 months to a year to finalise.

Companies do not seem to want the private shareholders.

This offer closed at 10.45am this morning according to my broker, open for under 4 hrs.

Had a even worse one earlier this week with IQE, opened at 5.00pm and closed at 7.30pm

Possibly US Index Tracker funds are buying as SUNB will probably enter some but no idea which.

Probably meets the requirements for inclusion in the S&P 500 but I think you have to wait a minimum of 6 months to be included so could be buying in anticipation of this.

To back up make more money, if the agreement had been terminated or rescinded it would have to be announced in an RNS, it has not so it still stands.

You can read the broad agreement on the IMM website but I suspect there is a lot of fine print in it which we are unaware of so it is impossible to know what the true situation is with Avion.
