Yam, they are almost certainly not after hours trades but late reported trades, which can be reported up to 24hrs after the trade has taken place.
It is therefore difficult to determine if they were buys or sells, because you do not know what time the trade took place and the Ashtead spread is very small.
Do not worry about them, just look at the share price!
Received mine today, Fortress Diagnostics.
Another excellent post Starbright.
So many on here lack the basic knowledge of how the market works.
I have tried many times to explain things but often get shot down, and have frankly got to the stage where I do not bother.
The more knowledge you have the better chance of success you have.
Good luck and do not worry too much about it.
You get them on HL if you are a client.

Tricky - you say you have lost count of the number of times the share price has fallen on good volume with more buys than sells.
Do you realise how these figures are compiled?
It is Market Rules that only the trade price is reported, not whether it is a buy or a sell.
The buy/sell volumes are computer generated guesses compiled by sites like this based on the mid price at the time they were reported.
Hence they are totally untrue and unreliable.
If you are basing your complaint on these figures you are just making yourself look an uneducated idiot, no offence intended but you need to know what you are talking about.

Possibly could have been a football connection.
It will be there in his posts if you care to look back.
Stu June- If you took the trouble to read BigJocks posts you will see he claims to be Colins nephew.
Everything he has posted appears to be true in my information, you have to make your own decision if you believe it or not, personally I do.
As far as I am aware no inside information has been disclosed, just clarifications and more detail
on items already disclosed.
You should be grateful for a CEO who is prepared to do this.
Now you think about it and use your brain.
Almost certainly a buy.
Only the Board of Directors know that.
You are correct.
