This share reminds me of the kn*ckers of an old ex girlfriend.......always down.....except when she was with me....that's why she became an ex ! I've been in here since March 2020....topped up 6 times substantially which now pains me as at one point after 3 buys I was well up.....now well down . I've read the same stuff over and over on this board and the hostility sometimes shocks me....but......it can't all have been lies and there must surely still be something about ODX that will come good. I'm not speculating as to when but I am hopeful. As for the ex......bumped into her the other week....phew.....dodged one !
Well Well DubleD.Hello 60ties (again)
That was 'short' lived...??...plenty more ups and downs ahead
I don't post much on these forums as my stats will show. Rather I like to read the considered views of 'better and more knowledgeable people' than I in the hope of learning what I don't know already. I am moderately invested in Metro within my portfolio hence my interest on this board. I currently sit on a sizeable loss but am for sure not panicking whilst forever optimistic. So naive am I, that given the consistent referencing to 'Rampers and derampers' I had to google what that meant. Boy did I get my eyes opened looking at the behavioural characteristics defined. Upshot is.....this board is full of them as proven by the closing SP today versus the deluge of opinions posted since late Friday. Each to their own I say but amongst them all lurk a few wise commentators, you do all make me smile!! Thank you! And thank you also for the off topic posts that give insight into some other shares for consideration.Good fortune to all ( though it may take longer than some believe is possible)
That 314.60 now showing on Hargreaves as the sell price....nice if it was but too low to bail me thinks!
Is my computer imploding with the visible 'bid price'? I see some hefty 'blue' numbers after 4.30pm!

Excellent.... Thank you!
Excellent.... Thank you!
Could one of you knowledgeable folks please educate a little less savvy chap like me into the behaviour of low volume trades (10's,20's etc) and their impact. Across my portfolio I see this and simply don't understand, asking myself 'whats the value?'..... Clearly though there is... To someone.... Or lots of someones!
Are you still out there......you've gone a bit quiet over the loast 2 weeks with some positive things happening here. I'm still in.....never did reach the 83p I was going to bail at.....having said that.....I am more enthused about the medium term here and think I might stick around a bit longer.....decent divi coming on Monday ...hope likewise for you and that your mood is somewhat happier......goodness......you might even have sent Mr A a Xmas card!
Forgive me folks......though the close price for yesterday (Friday) is showing correctly here....the current bid and relevant ask price are more like what we've been used to and significantly lower than the close. Does this therefore lend itself to suggest that the prices indicated will be the opening prices on Monday morning and all yesterdays gains have been wiped out effectively....just confused on this LSE site compared to others......thanks
Mr Duck....how the hell are you? I've been quiet of late for a reason....waiting for today....and being disappointed on several fronts by this mornings RNS. I take my hat off to you....your relentless consistency in your opinion of Mr Armitage is admirable in the face of several walls of silence. Sadly I can't share in some of the optimism around this business and future yields.....I'm up a few bob foillowing the recent recovery in SP but I'm bailing over the next few days if I get a little nudge upwards to 83p....I've lowered my expectations but it's been a hell of a learning curve this one...thats for sure. Good luck to you in your pursuit of answers and higher profit....I'll check in from time to time for a nosey but I'm off to find 'something new and exciting'....oh wait....isn't that what that bird from Uber is after as well :-)
Hawk.....what chances it was Duck...he's quackers! (sorry !).......some strange low volumes being traded not just on this but on others I hold and some day when I grow up to become a mature investor I might understand the rules of the game....maybe not. The joy of seeing this SP recover over the last few weeks soothes the pain of the last number of months....looking forward to the full results in October when hopefully we learn more and seeing further upward momentum in between now and then.
Ahhh...you never disappoint.....poor Mr A.....firmly locked in your sights...though I can't disagree to be honest. Not that is unless the SP recovers to somewhere sensible and the dividend continues to be generous. Keep up the pressure.......I enjoy the read.............
Quite agree Hawkspear and I guess you like me will be eagerly awaiting the refreshed update from Mr Duck on this very positive and encouraging news and I would guess a decent dividend to come in Octobers announcement. I did buy more St Ives a couple of weeks ago....guess who is feeling chipper today.....
Mr Duck...hope you're well. I see your confidence/optimism was a little shortlived and you have Mr Armitage back in your line of fire.....tongue in cheek answer to your question......I think he strategically reviews things all day....#keepthefaith....this one has legs in it!
Thanks for that....strangely I have Cambian on a watch list...took an interest at £1.22 but never did anything...plumped for a couple of others instead. I can see they're up 40odd p since I started watching but up £1 in 12 months ( or 150%). If you're right Mr Duck that St Ives is potentially similar....I can wait and I'll thank you in advance!
I had to have a lie down after reading your post...arguably (small though the inference was) the most positive thinking you've displayed about this share since I started viewing! I hold enough in my fledgling portfolio that I'm down 30% on purchase price which is hurting close to 5 figures which is why I'd love you to be right. Somewhat reassured last week by Numis reiterated their view of a £1.25 target but that big sell off on Friday spooked me a little.....holding well this morning though on low volume trading. Let's see....eh?
So Duck....you seem to be on the offensive.... you'll have seen a big sell off just after close today.....what does that tell you?......it's going to be a long weekend waiting to see the opening price on Monday for me!
