"Who would you say was the most honest politician this century?
My vote would go to Liam Byrne."
Tren, this channel is to discuss lloyds pic's share price etc.
What an astonishing display of victimhood

She confirmed she would be at the CONservative conference to continue the civil war.
Her speech implied that she felt it was unfair that she was not allowed to implement the plan she was voted in upon... Just a pity for her that everybody in the room knew that she was neither voted in by the public nor was her plan in the CONservative Manifesto.
Me incorrect ! Outrageous, how dare you .
Dumpy - you are so correct with your analysis of L Truss,
Brixton is so incorrect - you can be blue and honest.
Gate13Boy - Will this Lloyds chat site be treated to your predictive gibberish between now and the next general election? If only all those promising to leave the country should there be a Labour government actually kept their promises. Bur I fear they will not.
All she ever done is bounce her t!ts cos the boat is a bit ruff.
"Her reputation has been tarnished by Kwateng and an establishment who don't like anything outside the status quo." Oh my god. I have read some barmy things on this forum, but that unquestionably takes the biscuit! She's as mad as a box of frogs, and the most embarrassingly unskilled PM we have ever had. My 16 year old daughter would have done a better job. I also happened to go to the school that she painted as a working class, coal pit, ghetto in Leeds....and that happens to be in one of the most middle class areas you could possibly imagine. She's a cretin.
In all honesty starmer and co really not seting the world alight you only have to read there names out and the depression sinks over you like a wet blanket most of us can remember what the last lot did with the eu and taxation I can well see Torys getting in again
When push comes to shove, and Starmer shows more of his policies the public will come to the senses, when the likes of abbott and co start to show their faces well they will sink themselves, fingers crossed
Agreed jcb.
Sadly, barring something extraordinary, we are going to have a Labour government. Sunak has teed up taxation nicely for Labour to add to which they will. Last one out turn the lights off as Labour will go after the banks, oil companies and anyone with any wealth. Short-sighted nonsense which the country will regret apart from the feckless, the work shy and even more migrants as Starmer cosies up to the EU 🙄
Quite agree Onlyif.
Growth is the way forward. Her reputation has been tarnished by Kwateng and an establishment who don’t like anything outside the status quo sadly.
Oi
with maintained profitability and without buybacks the dividend could still be progressed for a long time though but not endlessly
Promise from Sunak, integrity and stop the boats, both have failed so far, still think truss would of grown the economy after the initial shock wore off
Oi
''to make it truly progressive the buybank needs to be taken into account''
??
without buybacks ,to have an endless progression of the dividend would mean an endless progression in profitability, Buybacks for cancellation can enable progression of the dividend without the need of increasing profitability. I believe the BOD were aiming to get rid of excess capital by the end of next year?
When the final divi is decided to make it truly progressive the buybank needs to be taken into account
My guess final 2.32 into 1.15 special 2.4? Second guess 0.5,have a great day,dyor.
You can't be tory and honest
Wow a honest MP what a shame she is not the prime minister
