I watched the link that you posted.
It confirmed a couple of things.
One, of the confirmations was that our MPs are of a low quality and that includes all, of them.
The other confirmation, was that the Question time programme, is and always has been biased and questions are loaded to suit the BBC and not the wider public.
The gentleman was putting an Hypothetical question, which to many may have sounded factual.
The question concerned the present localised fighting around the city of Goma, in the Congo (there are two Congo's by the way) close to the Rwandan border.
He asked that if his family arrived from Goma (now) as refugees would they be sent to Rwanda .
Well if they could get out of Goma, they would not be having to flee the Congo, the fighting is localised, the rest of the Congo is safe. Both nations called "Congo" are in Central Africa, surrounded by other African countries, why would they need to travel to the UK ?
Perhaps it is time we got some people in the right positions to set the right questions to these so called refugees.
Shut the borders, sink the boats. long live brexit
Tory Minister makes massive gaff on Question Time! He was not aware that Congo and Rwanda are separate countries!! 🤣🤣🤣

Lloyds would be over 70p now if its share price performed in line with Barclays and Natwest, clearly it hasn't, I have to say the difference in market sentiment makes little sense to me. The market appears to be ignoring buyback's, so I can only guess that it's possibly the dividend debasement that upset sentiment and resulted in Lloyds stock underperforming since. Under AHO Lloyds did buyback's, but only enough to counteract the effect of block listings and the Lloyds dividend still hasn't recovered to the pre-covid level under Nunn.
Brixton I totally agree that what the share price should be now !!!
Huntmaster no regrets at all glad to be out been in lloyds since 2008 this share is shocking and you know it still got 20000 shares a dealing account which I'm stuck with for a while so let's see if your predictions comes true while my 26000 rolls royce shares I bought for £1 do lol
I think it is highly likely that Labour will give an amnesty to most all illegals. It will be under the guise of the UK needing more workers, and as we are paying for their 'stay' now, why not get them 'earning', which will fool the elderly and other naive millions trusting such 'simple' but flawed logic.
Yet even if the few who would then 'work', they will be paying in next to nothing, BUT then be claiming thousands in housing benefit, council tax funding, in a few short months huge amounts of what was child and working tax credits, now under the Universal credits.
So they would be increasing our costs not saving us anything, and then as they breed, and as more enter, will finally impoverish this land, as they have their own.
They need removing from our country and a simple dna swab would show where they belong, if not willing to say where.
Eventually they would get the message.
Otherwise Lloyds, closely following the UK's economy, will never get out of the mire, only deeper into it.
Of course, imo, the increase in illegals arriving since Brexit is NOT coincidence, but as HMG KNEW that many voted for Brexit 'BECASUE' we were swamped with immigrants, what 'better' for HMG than to 'increase' the amounts now we are out, to 'pave the way' for a future massive rule change with our current 'agreement' with the EU, which most all politicians never wanted.
Watch and see.
Started this fantasy portfolio in 2016 to challenge various poster's perception that lloy is 'the worst share ever', 'better else where' or a 'dire share' - On 8th oct 2016 i invited wl/newchurch to choose an alternative ftse100 company, so i could run a comparison - since 2016 others have been added

~~~ this week's observation - Bank Q1 results uppy week, russia/ukraine/israel/hamas hostilities rattle on - cost of living continues to bite, strikes strikes strikes, Rayner tax affairs, UK to exit ECHR? Rwanda flights in 6-8wks? SNP mess, Starmer to adopt Rwanda plan rumoured (sorry about all the deaths during the 2yr delay?) King Charles to return to duties
A very basic comparison that does not include divi yield, imo those still suggesting lloy is 'the worst share ever' or a 'dire share' should maybe consider premium bonds?
The Police won't be standing back if the Indigenous English start to riot against immigration.
Will be interesting to see the number of 'Lazarus' postal votes appearing in London Mayor voting in May.
One example of how ridiculous this country is: Katie Price has been told to remove her disabled son from a special school in Glos as Sussex Council, where she resides will stop paying the £350k annual school fee. This is a young man whose mother has spent more than that on body enhancements and the couldn't care millionaire father lives in the West Indies.
Like with the over privileged Civil Service, it's always the taxpayer who has to cough up.
Going to be a bit awkward if local election gains by Labour don't live up to what the polls are saying - just saying lol
Popcorn anyone?
"the Irish blaming the English for a change..re the Rewanda relocation policy"
PURE SPIN
The immigrants no doubt left an EU member country France crossed over to England and entered illegally, made their Islamist funded way to Northern Ireland and crossed over into another EU member country!
The agenda......take over & turn Dublin in to London style!!
@88 'ps does anyone know labours policy yet on stopping the boats...'
Tweety Pie Yvette Cooper has said they're going to smash the smuggling gangs and put them out of business.
Yeh by laying on coaches direct from Calais. I believe they call it 'safe routes'. Is anyone mug enough to think that's going to stop the mass invasion?
The BBC will lie by ommision and not report on it. Anyone trying to highlight it will be banned, cancelled or charged under the forthcoming hate laws.
Brixton
Yes Lloyds only bank lagging
No so sure 60p
Would like to be proved wrong
As still have over 300k of these
Been selling down from 600k
So ready for any good pull back on Lloyds & few other Uk stocks
“ps does anyone know labours policy yet on stopping the boats”
88.
Apart from junking the Rwanda plan, labour's plan is to open the door to thousands of EU migrants in exchange for a new borders agreement with Brussels. Starmer is willing to accept a share of asylum seekers in return for the EU taking back migrants who arrive via small boats. Labour insist this is up for negotiation, which is code for ‘yes.
This would amount to around 100,000 EU asylum seekers a year, based on a Council of the EU document, which says that distribution of migrants within a sharing agreement should be based “on the size of the population and the economy of the Member State”. The figure could go even higher if the migration crisis worsens.
But of course you won't hear any of this before the election, just the usual sound bites about getting tough on the gangs etc.
Brixton
Just thought it would bring you and LTI closer 😂😂😂
Prime
I don't particularly want to own Lloyds shares let alone the Bank 🤣 60 - 70p i'm out, tucking Donkey since 2008/9 , 52p now is laughable.
CONservatives seem to have lost the colour Blue in their dodgy marketing.
They tried Green in last yr's local elections, now it seems Red is the colour!
And most Tory MPs also don't admit they're Tories in their bios.
..The rwanda policy ....just maybe if flights to rwanda are seen to be happening the threat is already becoming a deterrent....ps does anyone know labours policy yet on stopping the boats...
Counting the days to the Labour victory, in the local elections!
Popcorn anyone?
