We'll be able to see if production has been ramped up in about 3 weeks or if we have had another bad quarter.
Was there a positive? I must have missed that!
A sea of green on here today. Personally, I couldn't care less about the diamonds Euston but an update from the company about everything else would be useful.
Thetriplestar Your message to the team is engaging and conveys your enthusiasm for the company’s potential in a friendly and approachable manner. You’ve highlighted the importance of transparency and the need for a clear roadmap, which are key elements in aligning shareholders with the company’s vision and operations.
To enhance your message, you might consider adding specific examples of the kind of information you’d like to see in the roadmap, such as estimated timelines for exploration or development phases, or benchmarks for evaluating the project’s progress. This could help in creating a more detailed dialogue about the company’s direction and in setting clear expectations for communication.
Overall, your proactive stance on shareholder engagement and your call for open communication are likely to resonate well with the team and the CEO. It’s a positive step towards fostering a collaborative environment where shareholders feel informed and involved in the company’s journey.
V111JAS = Determining the criminal intent of individuals entering a country is challenging. While many British citizens travel abroad without incident, it is difficult to predict future actions without mind-reading capabilities. The introduction of facial recognition at ports, railway stations, and airports has made it easier to identify individuals of concern, such as criminals or terrorists.
Previously, safe travel documents were issued to all, regardless of citizenship by the crown. The first modern British passport, established by the British Nationality and Status Aliens Act of 1914, was a single-page document folded into eight sections within a cardboard cover, featuring a photograph, signature, and personal description, including "shape of face" and "complexion." After the League of Nations standardized passports in 1920, the "old blue" passport became a symbol of British travellers until it was replaced by the burgundy European version in 1988. Interestingly, passports were not commonly required for international travel until World War I. Before 1914, despite changes in technology and transportation, people still entered and exited countries in the same manner without being stopped. The argument that passports are unnecessary suggests that even if someone enters a country without skills, family, means of support, or a commitment to contribute, they cannot claim benefits and must support themselves, thereby contributing taxes to the exchequer in one form or another.
In 2023, 37 million tourists visited the UK, with stays varying from a weekend to several months, without concerns about skills, family, means of support, or a commitment to contribute. This number represents nearly 60% of the UK population, and their presence contributed over £115 billion to the economy. According to police statistics there were 5.5 million foreign tourists arrested for a crime in 2023, What are we to do, ban tourists too as intent to commit a crime was obviously. present.
The UK currently has numerous unskilled job openings that remain unfilled, previously occupied by individuals from outside the country. This situation has contributed to a decline in the hospitality sector, the shutting down of care homes, and challenges in agriculture. Similarly, the restriction of border access has led to the loss of many skilled positions, including those of doctors, nurses, and scientists.
Chesh - The construction of the Berlin Wall was a rapid and decisive action. It commenced on August 13, 1961, with the German Democratic Republic (GDR, East Germany) starting to erect a provisional barrier made of barbed wire and concrete elements. Within a remarkably short period of two weeks, the East German military, police, and volunteer builders had erected this substantial barricade. The Berlin Wall eventually stretched for about 155 kilometers (96 miles) in total. However, it is a misconception that the entire length of 96 miles was constructed in a single day; historical records indicate a more extended period for the completion of the Wall.
No, it took two weeks to build the Berlin wall and a day to knock it down again.
Knco, you stated that the price would reach 10p by summer, which is not far off. You also predicted 30p by Christmas. Regarding cornerstone investors, we were informed that the process has advanced to the next stage of mutual due diligence, with further updates to be provided as progress is made with the investors. To date, no updates have been shared, leading to the assumption that due diligence is ongoing without any certainty of a resulting transaction. In the absence of a definitive agreement, it is crucial to explore other options, yet the lack of information on alternative revenue streams suggests their non-existence. The General Meeting would have been an ideal opportunity to discuss these matters and communicate details to the broader market through an RNS. Was there not a commitment from the company to enhance communication and provide greater transparency?
Knco you claimed I was one of those filtered lol
"LVCG announces that the General Meeting ("GM") took place on Tuesday 16th April 2024 at 12 at the Eccleston Square Hotel, 37 Eccleston Square, Pimlico, London SW1V 1PB. All the resolutions were passed."
Well, for an RNS that was short and sweet. i assume the only people there were themselves and nothing other than the votes were discussed..
Well, the GM takes place in less than 20 minutes I wonder if anybody turns up from this merry band and if they do if they will report proceedings here. So far since relisting sweet FA has taken place to bolster the share price or indeed suggest the company is doing anything at all.
I did and if you're telling the truth then last time around you made a 295 loss and this time around a 496 gain.
You may pose that question at the general meeting, but it's unlikely you'll receive an answer. Given the current level of communication, receiving an answer to any inquiry seems doubtful.
Only thing that appears to be heading north is Gsa Capital Partners llp short position.
Jungmana - It's good to be cautious, as they are only on their second day of trading. Experience suggests it's wiser to observe than to dive into an uncertain venture. Meanwhile, I'll continue to expand my holdings here, where we all recognize the risk of failure is minimal and everything is proceeding as planned.
Thanks for reminding me why I have PET on my watchlist I did wonder.
Personally, I prefer to diversify my portfolio and have 61 investments with 15% on AIM companies. Used to have all my eggs in one basket and learnt quickly what a mistake that is so now its spread about. Some are with dividend stocks, some with value stocks and the rest in bonds, gilts, trusts and ETF's. Any cash left over is in an international bank account so I can draw the best interest rates globally by holding in that currency.
Looks to me like a placing rns will fall either tomorrow or Thursday
I'm deeply invested in each of the 61 investments and the 12 angel investments in my portfolio because they impact my financial security and that of my family. Just as someone who works diligently to maintain their job for financial stability, to pay bills, and to keep a roof over their head, I am equally committed. Currently, the amount DC invests in the company is irrelevant. His primary role is CEO, and his duty is to add value for the shareholders, his employers, at which he is currently failing. Until he fulfills his responsibilities, he will remain a target of dissatisfaction.
Personally, I'm indifferent. I lend shares to short sellers at an 11.68% interest rate, and when they cover, my shares naturally rebound from the minor dip, so I profit either way. Day traders may not appreciate this, but for long-term investors, a temporary dip is merely a paper loss.
