As I said did not need the money, so was and still happy to wait
I got carried away with the Boris wining the election with a landslide expected to see 75p plus in 2020
Then we had that ''Act of god '' called Covid 19
Hopefully with the recovery and interest rates rises.
I could get lucky next May and see some paper profits again
HAPPY DAYS and fingers crossed
LONDON, Nov 1 (Reuters) - British factories saw output growth slow and costs soar in October as they struggled to cope with supply bottlenecks, a survey showed on Monday, underscoring the dilemma facing the Bank of England as it considers a rate hike this week.
The overall IHS Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index rose for the first time in five months to 57.8 from 57.1 in September. The final reading was little changed from a preliminary estimate.

Not the only one.... I have a n average of 61p.....although that includes past divs reinvested.... So about 55p break even.... Sucks but the overall portfolio OK and I think lloyds will start to return a decent div going forward which will start to reflect in a returning SP.

Eccles best of luck to your son,let us know what ge got his eye on next, like Anthony horto he could be a winner,Charlie is untested yet here at Lloyd's so I'm holding and watching for next 12months at least, time will tell if he got the mids touch, enjoy your day, dyor.
Son bought bought a bunch of these for 30p last year when the market went stupid because of Boris's fearmongering. Proves yet again that Warren's maxim of buying when the rest of the doughbags are in a panic does work.
A very nice way to start the week! Despite the inevitable fluctuations, everything seems much better when it's flowing the right way on a good run :)
Don't worry Knivey, our friend will emerge triumphant saying 'told you so' in due course. At this rate God alone knows where we shall be on Friday. I imagine there will be much premature speculation about when the 60p level is reached! Fingers crossed. GLA
Happyhead yes I was the same with the regular increase in dividends, was happy to buy in at any price, but the boe pra stopped all that for me,pulling that 2019 dividends has changed my thinking, I'm averaging 43p now and holding not adding over 40p anymore, bod need to have control, as outside meddlers have undermined there integrity, imho dyor enjoy the day.
I have got in on a range of 25 to 90p. I average out at 50p! Profit coming! Run horsey run! Take care all, the sun is shining!
Rates rise end of week will push the share price back up, we could see more money flow into cyclical stocks as investors attempt to capitalise on the global economic recovery, 60p for Christmas

There was the ever increasing fear factor as Lloyds headed towards the low - too much for a lot of investors.
Some prefer to wait for stabilisation with an uptrend.

''Makes you wonder
why anyone would purchase above 44p doesn't it?.
Belief in something can make for serious loss of potential profit.''

Hopefully prices can maintain a foothold in the 50's in the coming weeks, without unforeseen circumstances upsetting the apple cart
