RE: Sold17 Jun 2026 09:33
I always scale in and out. that's wise.
But RR is on the up so I tend not to sell a rising share, I did sell at £14 (but maybe 1% of my holding) but I have to draw money to live off. I have secured 3 years wages again now which I like to hold in ISA or 1 years cash in Chase at 4.5% .
I always said, and people can quote me £15 by Feb 27. that's looking good.
If a share is making >15% PA I don't sell.
"I’ve got too much in one share" does that matter ? I was going to go 1 mil in if RR hit £11, sadly for me it did not, that would have been a winner today. RR now up over £14 it's 50% of my pot again !! but I did by the dips in the war 4 or 5 times.
If you took 20% now, why sell another 30% on a rising SP ?
I see some sold in the war, when I bought in the war, it's a very personal choice. but you don't get rich with no risk.
What % of your pot is RR ?
