Apart from that ..StarBright could well be correct !
Lets wait till Monday :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
How’s this for simplistic? Let’s work with the 20moz of which say 6moz is GGP’s…bear in mind in my eyes this is conservative. 6moz say at a profit of only $500 per ounce (I reckon that covers all possible costs and capex) equals $3bn or around £2.2m. Even if you take off the tax after that at say %20, leaves us with around £1.8bn’ worth of minerals to GGP for that 20moz at a very low profit of $500 per ounce. I have no doubt it will be more. Now of course it will take a while to get out, but I do believe the market will start being more forward thinking about GGP once the full extent of the amount of ounces at Havieron start coming out.
Very simplistic yes, but also in my opinion very conservative in terms of total ounces and profit per ounce.
Or I could be completely wrong, rofl ;-)
JC you obviously book the drill rigs when you have a full scale exploration plan - with approx 50 targets in our armoury and with a significant cash cow Havieron - I see no reason not to go full steam ahead and explore even if it means raising cash through whatever means available - the drill bit is the only viable way to create shareholder value and let’s not forget Hannam & Partners valued our tenements at a n additional 100million !
We don’t just need a caretaker CEO who presently is struggling to grow the share price.
Floater, oh yes totally agree, thanks for pointing out my errors, much appreciated.
Have a good W/e

Lol Tom - shouldn't there be an A somewhere in please, and an E after the S ?
Also 'its' should have an apostrophe to show an omission of letter(s), i.e. it's
Surely, the misspelling, spell corrected misplaced words, minor typing errors or minor grammar errors like missing an apostrophe in words or sentences is really not that important on a bulletin board - especially when the poster could be typing the post on a small screen on a mobile phone.
TL hi, well put, I made the same mistake for a week or so but got drilled down, so HAV is just great. Did not mean to be rude but its best resolved with the correct name. Keep well and safe !

Tom and have a great w/e :-))))))
Ha TomE, Keepyerhairon!
To be honest the two that do my nut are"loose" instead if "lose" and "math" instead of "maths".
Sorry Tom - I will try - it must be one of those learned typing mistakes. I will shorten to Hav in future :-) Probably not weeks - probably years.
Yes I did say I was looking at things in a very simplistic manner - so AISC etc not taken into account - but just trying to get ball park ideas. At the end of the day the market will decide the valuation.
But more than willing to see other more accurate means of market valuation - if there is such a thing.
Newcrest report $899.00 AISC. The facts remain we have the first Rubber Stamp ie its commercial ie there is revenue ie value to GGP be it via sale of asset or production, the rest is just noise
I certainly get the impression from all of SD's presentation that he and the company are doing everything they can, as fast as they can. Whilst we sit on our hands I don't think they are. WA and the Patterson in particular are super hot areas for drilling as we know and I wonder how many idle drills and crews are out there at the moment? None I would have thought. Personally I expect the unexpected to drop at the least expected time! Keeps life interesting!
ATB
Bear in mind also Newcrest reserves are all based on an average AISC of above $900. It’s one way to try and find a value for Havieron but it’s far too simplistic. Especially with current sector sentiment.
Not forgetting the huge mining company Barrack.
thelearner,
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES before you spread on the GGP board, GET the NAME right. You have been going on for weeks saying, excuse me HAVERION ???????????????/
ITS HAVIERON FGS.
Its so annoying that you have been here a long time and every post you make in spelling the Co is WRONG.
HAVIERON
We know Havieron is world class , our cornerstone asset that will facilitate financing GGP”a multi-asset growth - we know it’s going to be mined so it would be nice to see GGP go all in on a major drilling campaign (outside the Juri JV) and let the drill bit create value .
SD has obviously alluded to this but it time to make formal announcements to offer potentially significant value to shareholders - I mean there’s no longer the need to wait on 6 weekly drilling results at Havieron…time to be aggressive and start full scale exploration across our 100% owned tenements .
I find valuation as fascinating as the geology and mining techniques – I am expert in none.
I have looked at our excellent JV Partner NCM.
At 31/20/20 – this is the information from their reserves report – which can be found on their site
Gold Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources 97 million ounces (2019 100 million)
Gold Inferred Mineral Resources – 11 million ounces (2019 9.5)
Copper Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources 17 million tonnes (2019 17 mt)
Copper Inferred Mineral Resources – 2.3 mt (2019 2.2)
Silver Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources 87 million ounces (2019 89 million)
Silver Inferred Mineral Resources – 5.4 million ounces (2019 5.5)
I’ll ignore the Polymetallic. Price assumptions Gold $1400/0z, copper $3.40 per lb, Silver $21/oz
NCM MC $19Billion Aus – or £10.5 Billion. I think it’s widely accepted NCM is undervalued.
NC have a large amount of assets – income and profits.
Now my simple mind – lets ignore copper and silver, but assume Haverion is 20moz gold, and GGP have 30% that’s 6 moz. Or 6% of the gold reserves of NCM.
GGP have some other assets – but not with huge value, and will not have income until 2024 and profit until much later once Haverion loan and Capex share is paid off.
Simple calc – 6% of £10.5 billion is £0.63 billion. (could be 30 or 40 moz gold or more)
I have always been and still am very positive about Haverion, and GGP having acreage that could produce other major finds – but framed with realisation that exploring is difficult, and very large finds are rare.
I think if I did same calculation with Newmont/Rio/Barrack etc – would probably give higher figure for GGP using this method.
I’d be more than happy to be corrected or enlightened if I have went bonkers – I do know that value of gold in ground does not translate to MCAP to SP – it will take at least 30 years to get the gold out of the ground.
Is this why we are seeing takeover figures being bandied about at 40/50p range?
Jet hey, just Magic, what a hoot. Good to see a wee bit of humour on the board, well done.

Tom:-))))))
SB thank u for your reminder. However Malva put me right on that note. You must have been festering over that for days and days

100% agree StarBright. Knowlege of geology isn't knowledge of markets, finances or anything of the sort. That's why people should work together instead of being in one camp or the other and/or certain people should stick in their lanes instead of spouting nonsense about the markets when they're wrong (such as buy a share a day to keep the TR1 away). I wouldn't dream of commenting on the geology stuff, it's way beyond me but I do enjoy reading what others write and I do attempt* to understand what they're saying.
*attempt means struggle like hell
Hi. Check the "growth" RNs on GGP website. Page 10.

Hi Lenz - probably worth dropping Shaun a line to make sure he knows how out of kilter H & P’s latest broker note seems to be and what value he feels they bring?
Much to look forward to this quarter.
HAVIERON (18 drill results awaited)
Coming up soon is Newcrest's September quarterly exploration report (evening of 27 October UK, 28 October Aus)
Growth Drilling - A further eight growth drill holes have been completed with samples awaiting assay, anticipated to be received and reported in the next update.
10 Infill holes have been completed in the South East Crescent, with samples awaiting assay, anticipated to be received and reported in the next update.
JURI JV (5 results awaited)
Results have been received for the first four holes sampled from the nine drill holes completed. Next results due in October.
You're not wrong about the board TomE, I rarely check when at work and the last few days when I have checked in if I were naïve I'd be believing that there was some concrete truth in Shaun Day being a Newcrest mole out to get us and that the board are just preparing for a low offer which they'll encourage us to take. Where in reality that speculation has been born out of absolutely zero, in fact the opposite of the comments Shaun has actually made.
