I could just leave the CVR's with HL. They have confirmed no charges for this. I am going to read the cnr sale document again, to try and see for sure what happens when the cars are paid.

I have asked II. No response after 2 to 3 weeks. Will try again. Thanks for the reply. I have so far not moved my wife from HL to II until I saw the CVR's resolved.

What HL have told me is that my CVR's cannot be transferred to II. They have to stay in the account they were deposited in until they are transferred to shares. Reading the RNS it says they can be paid as combination of MTL Shares and Loan Notes - bit bemused, thought they were being paid as cash, I'd be happy with shares.

Ex CNR LTH. Was going to take my small profit and run for the hills, but reading this board and looking at MTL and DB and their journey, put my CNR cash in here and invested some more, and has proven to be a good move. There is plenty more resource to find in Nicaragua, and it is possible the Runruno plant could find a home there.

It seems to me any potential new production in the Phillipines is years off, we have not even drilled and proved a resource yet, have not looked at the production ready company in trouble, but pretty certain BD and the BOD will be looking. Philipines MTL established, trusted and seems to be quite stable.

There will be much more opportunities in S. America. OMI in Columbia have a shallow small but growing resource at Pepas, shovel ready high grade, currently exploring tolling agreement and should be doing permits and mine planning now. The CEO is a very good GEO. Don't think anyone there has mine building or running mine production experience. Working on MRE for a nearby underground resource and have lots of good ground for exploration. This may be the type of opportunity DB could be looking at. There may be more in S America.

I remember that it was said CVR's could not be in an ISA but that's where HL put them. I have created a trading account on II. I will message II and get them to query with HL. Thanks for the replies.

Been moving my ISA from HL to II. Everything now moved apart from my MTL CVR's, the remnants of an old Woodward fund and a bit of cash.

Has anyone else done this and had the CVR's moved?

Cash gets moved last so I think I will buy some shares with this which will hopefully be transferred.

I am not sure what motivated the previous bunch to buy Redmoor, if they realised the potential or the fact that AB was a director of the selling company desperate for cash to survive. They were probably the best Lifestyle BOD I have ever seen, maybe Colin Bird is up there too.

I do not think we will see huge rises on drilling results - although again the lates results from drill hole 41 show again an expanding tin resource, tin price has also increased significantly.

I think the MRE and metallurgical studies potentially could be very good news. But best not to get carried away.

We already have a scoping study done some time ago, and from memory showed mine development costs circa $90 million. I think this will increase in the DFS, but even if it doubles I think DFS will show very high IRR.

The other interesting point was that we required less infill drilling for DFS as current drilling has shown historic drill results and assays can be used for MRE and that has halved the amount of drilling required for DFS, which we raised the funds for at the last $4m raise.

What will be interesting is whether some more exploration drilling will be added to the drill plan to increase the resource size at DFS. Downside is this will probably delay DFS.

Then we still have Cobre Income - and hopefully Leigh Creek will be successfully started with another cash payment into SML coffers.

I don't knowchow much power the plant needs to run, but you can get small diesel turbines generators on the back of trucks which could be hooked up to commission the plant. This is what they use to power land oil rigs which are mobile. Could save a lot of time while waiting on the mains supply to be completed.

Basically infill drilling required to confirm mineralisation and metals are in same quantities as the wider spaced out exploration holes. And to confirm mining methods required. PFS has to have high confidence what is where, and decide the most economic method to extract ore, and what type of process plant is required. Will also contain costs undetected ROI, AISC etc.

Threeturn - I actually bought a load more GGP on the morning before the Scallywag RNS. Been a LTH there and still am - in the long run it came good - I bought all the way down as I believed in the resource.

On here I have also warned about too many taking it for granted there are big silver grades guaranteed at El Pantano.

But I don't think we are in the GGP Scallywag GGP scenario here - GGP CEO then GH had his eye on an exit with maximum returns as was handing the reins to Shaun day.

GGP SP was valued on the 30% share of Haverion. There was really very little else of value in the GGP assets at that time. OMI have Pepas, Anza where we know there are highly likely to be commercial deposits. My opinion is current SP has no El Pantano value included, although I agree bad news will cause a drop in SP. Temporarily.

It is hugely difficult to find a viable commercial deposit, and normally takes cycles of drill, analyse, move drill analyse with absolutely no guarantee of success. Newmont never went deep enough to find haverion - actually they just missed the orebody with 1 drill.

El Pantano will be a huge bonus if Brad and the team have found something. If not - then they will try again. Not strapped for drilling funds fortunately - which is why so many junior explorers fail.

There was a lot of talk on GGP when it was being shorted for a long time. I am with HL and was assured at the time they did not lend shares to shorters, but from memory I think II did.

Off SML subject but in reference to last post, I bought a German brand EV this year (same brand as our last 2 cars), unfortunately in terms of battery and EV tech (basically software & app) and therefore general car tech, Europe has a very long way to go to catch up with the Chinese and Tesla I think. The risk with Chinese/Far East cars are spares. Tesla on par with anything IMHO. It's a big step to no dashboard though. The car cameras are amazing.

German car industry seems to be in a bit of trouble, hopefully the European car makers can stay in business and catch up.

I have 2 yearly servicing, plug in computer and check everything, change pollen filter and brake fluid, will cost £400 at dealer. Tesla have no fixed service schedule.

USA military worries hugely about risk of hostile states being able to easily reach USA from S American countries. It's not about oil - it will cost billions of $ and take a decade to get the real heavy oil in Ven up to much higher production rates.

I am also cautious about initial results from Argentina - will be a huge bonus if they have found decent silver or gold grades in first drills - and very unusual. But I would be delighted if Brad and the team have found something.

So who knows what will happen in that country, and I have no idea what it will do to OMI's prospects, very little I would say. I would speculate move by USAcwas more to stop China and Russia getting control of those reserves.

The contra view would be that if the money has been received by the date that the market was informed it would be, no RNS is required. If the payment was not made, and there was no valid reason for delay - then RNS might be required as this could be important market information.

I am invested here, first from Sept 2020, I sold out in Dec 2020 with over £6K profit. I bought back in March 2022 at 10p, held until Dec 24 and have bought since then at 8.2, 10.2. 13.5 and in Nov this year at 19.4. I have just over 240,000 holding.

I never like comparing producers with non producers, it is not like for like.

I also hold a fair bit of MTL (producer) as was invested in CNR from 2017, and do more reading than posting on these boards but been around a while.

I like reading others thoughts and have seen Seingred post on quite a few boards over the years and a lot in CNR, and I have no objection to any of his posts and I think he is right more often than he is wrong, I like seeing other views and can filter those who I think are a waste of space.

I am invested here because I think the potential is very good with the drill, and gains potentially could be explosive. But the road from junior explorer to producer is long and difficult, might be easier here if we can shallow surface mine and truck ore to a nearby plant, would be great to be able to do that as would then provide income and cash to explore and develop other assets.

CNR had that option at La India - but could never secure a tolling deal with then Calibre, and then CNR could not build the mine and had huge difficulty raising the finance, even with a billionaire chairman.

I am very optimistic with MTL, their CEO has a great record of delivering results, wish I had found them before. SP has risen form 5.7p to circa 13p now, was at 16p. I think much more to come, but it will not be an explosive gain which could happen here, but will be slow and steady.

But I am not advising anyone where to invest - these are my thoughts - people have to decide for themselves.

I have been in GGP from 2019 to now, bought all the way up and all the way down, it's been a long but now profitable road. But we had a lot of luck, and great leadership from Shaun Day. Still holding there - I also expect more growth, but will be gradual an steady.

I have other junior miners, some where I though my investment is gone, UFO/XTR among them, did include SML but that appears to have turned around. AIM is a very dangerous place but has potential big gains - it's a bit of a casino.

Explains the selling. They are taking a very healthy profit here. Most if not all of their shares were free, and totally undeserved. They have taken a fortune out of this company, and deliver ed negative value for SH. Nowvbefore they were ejected by the new BOD they had a very nice salary from this company. Don't know if they have been able to replace it from other employment.

So possibly they are selling as they need income, or possibly they are selling large volume to depress price and buy back in but will remain below 3%.

I too am pleased to see the back of them.

Simms I hope you are right - I always worried about CVR2 and the 5 year timescale - but I guess if they find a lot ore gold quickly, and the shallow stuff can be drilled quickly, it might be possible to buy another 2nd hand plant and have a much higher producing plant, which would allow for maint on each plant 1 at a time and continued production, lower risk from breakdown.

Anyway, priority is to get the first plant built and in production and hopefully keep the drills turning as well.
