EX CNR holder from 2017 - read here a lot - do not post often. I put most of the CNR cash in here but put some in GGP at 8p, where I already have a sizeable holding. After ASX listing I might switch that money back in here, but have some thoughts.
1. I always saw my CNR holding as high risk - due to being in Nicaragua - and always said I'd exit completely if I got the chance to get out with a decent profit - I am there now, and some ex CNR members might have decided it's time to take the profit and leave, and that might include JM/MC - who knows. For me - I have been delighted with everything I have seen here, and also over the years been reassured a bit as I have watched Calibre & B2G make rely good profits in Nicaragua. So for the moment staying here.
2. Runruno - sometimes when I read on here - some seem to be counting the produced ounces and profits before we have even got a permit to drill, let alone having never having put a drill in the ground and just going on soil samples? However like all SH - the sooner the drill goes in the ground the better - even if it's bad news - should not hold MTL back.
3. La India drilling - I am very confident the resource will be increased in Ni once the drilling exploration starts - hopefully we have drills in the ground already, although maybe drilling initially to confirm open pit locations.
4.DB seems very unhappy with the time required in the Phillipines to get permits and approvals - but as operating there already it's worth sticking at it, but hopefully long term when cash being generated at la India - possibly also has some acquisition targets similar to CNR - which was sold for a song - but I agree CNR would never have got any gold out of the ground, although this should have been achievable, much easier for MTL as they d not need to raise much finance to do this.
