Whilst it's great to have a new presentation, it's not so great to see that 9 of the 13 'catalysts to drive shareholder wealth' have done exactly the opposite, and the remaining 4 have been touted as just around the corner for many many years. It would be good to get an honest idea of what's going on at some point, preferably this side of another new year..
Probably delayed!
Is this a link to an explanation from Keith about why his announcements on impending news for the last 3 years have never come true?
Auto retail sales grow 48% YoY in October, FADA remains cautious about year-end

Well I was expecting news on the DFS timeline update and maybe some news from the CEZ Q3 results/presentation out on thursday....and maybe KC's interview on Friday with sharecafe in oz is just a coincidence.
Things here are finally speeding up otherwise the only "transition" I'm likely to see is from this life to the next!
Holding and buying at these heavily discounted prices!
Might not be such a bad thing, given the recent news, and lack of any positive reflection in price!
Good news long term, but suggests no significant price sensitive news in short term otherwise allegations of insider trading, no?
Agreed...obviously not in a closed period!
Always welcome
What kind of a response is that fingers? You critisis VW for being all talk and no substance, yet you ignore when Kieth does the same. Then you ignore me pointing it out with a distraction like that? Get real.
Fingers, still procrastinating???
VW set up Power Co. then a JV with Umicore who have offtake with Ganfeng. VW are also a 20%+ shareholder of Northvolt who have offtake with Tianqi, they're literally building out their supply chain from the top down so I'd say they're doing okay finding partners.
Perhaps now people are wising up to the EIA issue you might want to hear me out on the point I've made previously, the EU strategy is to prioritise ex-EU supply, simple as that. Surely when you see the biggest European automaker going the China route and Von DER Leyen talking about Canada and Australia supply partnerships you can see this is the case? Permitting is a huge issue and they know they won't get EU supply online quick enough.
Unfortunately in Europe there's too much red tape so you need to pay attention to the politics.
Its funny..... I understand people's range anxiety when we are talking about 100to 150mile ranges on EVs (despite most of us only driving around 20 to 25 miles a day), but never....not once in my life have I ever thought to myself.....If only this car could go for 2000miles between refuelling.... why is this even being touted as a positive from a company whose MO should be to give the customers what they want?
Ive just reserved an Aptera and there is a 1000mile option, but why would I even need this? unless Im trying to outrun the Zombie apocalypse.... Ive gone for the 400mile arrangement and feeling very happy with this option.
JCB have a modified internal combustion engine that runs on hydrogen, missing out the fuel cell route. This is more suitable for hgv vehicles.
The immediate future for cars and vans is the battery electric route.
All imho.
From EV-re100 on HC
Article has hook line and sinker taken the propaganda bait as it fails to mention that the fuel cell feeds the reasonably large lithium ion battery on board.
The battery is the main source of power for the electric motors as the fuel cell is most efficient as a constant output. My understanding is fuel cells don't ramp output up or down fast enough for a direct drive so 'batteries still included'
Maybe some one should have told her in 2015 when I knew about it and why I invested into EMH in 2015 at 11 cents

The new hydrogen car that travels 2,000 kilometers with a single tank.
Volkswagen is working on a new fuel cell that is much cheaper than the current ones and promises hydrogen cars that can travel 2,000 kilometers on a single tank.
Volkswagen has just applied for the registration of a patent for a new hydrogen fuel cell that, in addition to being cheaper than the current ones , will be able, according to its creators, to give cars a range of up to 2,000 kilometers without refueling.
This news represents a turn in the position that Volkswagen usually shows regarding hydrogen. Like Elon Musk does every time he has the opportunity, the German manufacturer’s CEO, Herbert Diess, denied the potential of hydrogen as a power source for electric cars in a tweet published in May 2022.
Herbert Diess, CEO, said:
It has been shown that the Hydrogen car is not the solution to climate problem.
“In transport, electrification has taken over. Fake debates are a waste of time. Please listen to the science.”
The patent application for this new fuel cell, carried out together with the German company Kraftwerk Tubes, shows that Volkswagen does not want to lose the hydrogen train and works outside the public eye in the development of this technology.
How does it work
The huge batteries of electric cars are accumulators of electricity that is released according to the needs of the vehicle. Hydrogen fuel cells, by contrast, are capable of generating their own electricity.
For this they need a high-pressure tank that stores the hydrogen in gas form —if it were liquid it would need to be stored at very low temperatures— and a fuel cell that converts hydrogen into electricity.
Fuel cells also have an anode and a cathode like batteries. Hydrogen enters through the anode and passes through an electrolyte membrane which is responsible for dividing hydrogen (H2) into a proton (H+) and an electron (e-). An electrolyte then causes them to take different paths to the cathode.
The electrons go through an external circuit creating a flow of electricity—which is what makes the car’s engine work—while the protons pass through the electrolyte to the cathode. There they unite with oxygen, which enters directly to the cathode, and with the electron, producing water and heat. However, Volkswagen and Kraftwerk’s fuel cell puts a spin on materials traditionally used for membranes.
Maybe VW works under the radar on something different?...........
And you think KC can hurry up VW , Skelly ?????? Or The Battery consortium , or the European investment bank or the Czech Gov or Ursula von der Leyen ?????
Fingers, it's funny how you take this attitude to VW but not to Keith...... Maybe its time to take a step back and uncloud your thought process from all that hopium.
Volkswagen seeks partners for battery materials race .
Remember this on the 15th June 2021 . LOL . 18 months later and they are still procrastinating . FFS talk about the totoise and the hare .

This sounds like something Geomet just did various Li compounds : ?? Simplifying cell technology with the #unifiedcell format: Our unified cell harnesses synergy effects and will reduce battery costs by up to 50 percent. It also allows a flexible use of a raft of different cell chemistries.
Good find Dave .

But didn't you say yesterday that we would be inking with VW?
Tesla going mining , nice fit for a partner in EMH
