That’s how I imagine the off-take discussions will pan out!
Meanwhile back at the Hard Rock Cafe…
“How would you like your lithium cooked sir”
We can do Hydroxide,Carbonate, Sulphate or Phosphate and all cooked to a very high purity !
:0)
As a small aside, if you’ve invested here and take no other interest in any of the other prospective junior lithium miners either in Europe or elsewhere then I ask you to go and have a look at their BB’s. Eur or Vul would be a good starting point……they are being accused of the very same things that we accuse emh of. I’m afraid it goes with the territory of being a junior miner in a specialised chemical arms race that needs a certain degree of trial and error in order to move forward….
Fireball, agree, but if he isn’t in control then KC needs to stop making statements he clearly has no control over. Just creates frustrations and damages credibility
Fireball you're just proving the poi t that you're not listening. Nobody is worried about what KC doesn't say, it's about what he has been saying constantly for the last 3 years and not delivered, and not explained why he hasn't delivered. I can't have a discussion with you if your not bothering to read.
Yawn - "why hasn't KC said this, done that, whatever". If everyone realised that you're invested in CEZ, then maybe everyone would calm down. KC is not in control but I believe does have our best interests at heart. This will get done at the speed that a publicly-listed conglomerate gets things done ... slowly, throughly and diligently. No public company wants even the slightest hint of reputation damage. Their news flow objectives are directly opposite to a typical lithium junior.
I agree, this is the key area I'm disappointed in, don't keep making random statements on "news soon" it's doesn't help anyone and gives good reason to question credibility.
I think people on this discussion aren't listening to the reasons people are disgruntled. It's not because it's all taking so long, or that people don't understand the processes involved with junior mining companies or the work involved with developing a mine. We're getting ****ed off with being told year after year that we are getting news on DFS and offtakes every few months, then nothing appears and we aren't given an explanation why. The shareholders are being treated like children and it's not very professional. If you don't have any news coming on the DFS or offtakes then keep your f%*king mouth shut about it, instead of all these broken promises.
Understandably people are frustrated by the way communications in the past have led to timelines not being held. Jeez, I’ve been one of them but I think this time emh management have realised that they need to up their game.
We need to realise that what we are trying to regarding the production of high purity lithium product from mica is something new. Nobody up until now has achieved this and we need to apply a little patience in order for them to get it right. If we are informed along the way by good communications and if the project is delayed slightly then I’m all for it if the end result is that we hit the ground running.
Exactly...they have been working on the LCT for over a year and the outcome is fantastic....a much needed component to complete a meaningful DFS.
Nice , DFS time line within 2 weeks , wander if he will throw some hints in , what the DFS will look like ?
Colin, have you not questioned why so recently he was strongly hinting at offtakes before Xmas. You can’t say that it’s due to samples being required as he would have known this when he made these statements. Now suddenly the language changes and the inferences change as we have seen from KC. You would have thought he would have learnt having done this on multiple occasions. Markets move on sentiment and confidence and all we get is promises about offtakes that don’t materialise. Why? I’m a long term holder but incredibly frustrated by these interviews from KC where off his own back he makes statements.
No, those who eat the same promises before every AGM (aka Christmas) without demanding accountability.
The "short sighted" being anyone who doesn't agree with your views.
Personally I have every confidence in this man and prefer him to some flashy entrepreneur lining his own pocket
Exactly, Skelly. He just wants to survive another AGM without too much sweating, while the short sighted cheer him on.
Issue is that KC stated/hinted very strongly only a month or so ago that there would be offtake news before Xmas. Now once again this appears to have moved with no explanation. I for one am now very fed up with statements being made then not being met as is happening on a frequent basis. It’s not about patience it’s about clarity and false promises and I’d suggest the deflated share price reflects that.
EMH & all involved are doing the right work to ensuring it is perfectly set up for being thee major supplier in EU.
If anyone were expecting things sooner they've not researched or understood the complexity of this project.
Who's not happy to sit it out a short period for a x5-10 bag. . . . ?
We might get more positive news, but I doubt it will be anything significant. Samples and pilot plant won't be done until Q1 next year, and you can't get DFS without those. You're not going to get an offtake agreement from an automotive OEM within 3 months of handing them a bag of sand. So don't expect anything on that front for another year. You're also not going to get funding until the DFS is complete and permits have been signed. So don't expect anything on that for another year. We were promised all this just before last Christmas if anyone remembers.
Wound the wording back to prospective offtake partners, but sounds confident of other positive news before end of year. I wonder what it’ll take to reflect in the price though
Well Done Keith and the team....Really great news...and thanks for the supplementary RNS.
LCT update at long last with game changing results and patent submission:
1) Greater and improved "PURE" product portfolio
2) Reduced CAPEX and OPEX
3) Improved ESG
4) Positives to the EIA
SMS Group can now revise and finalise the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and push ahead with the DFS.
Lets get that EIA submitted please.
And just a little salt in the wound, I read comment about reduced opex being strictly related to the opex of the processing only and not an overall decrease in the projects opex.
It'll still cost the same to get the stuff out the ground.
