Thank you, Mark70! :)
Bisc application appeal today adjourned for site visit and assessment had not helped share price.
Probably down to the expectation that the current gov wont be in power long enough or have the majority to push the fracking agenda past the house (unfortunately)
Hope i'm wrong
Yes fingers crossed JPPJ, not sure why the S.P is dropping now though, :(
Superb charts, Mark70! :) Hope for best option.
"Two analysts" - one of them is probably the house broker or NOMAD and the other someone like Malcy or Zak Mir
Amazing if it just goes to the low expectations, but the top expectation (WOW)

Igas have stated that 3m homes could be supplied with gas in a year with reduced seismic activity from the Gainsborough trough area. Egdon currently holds 82,000 net acres (128 square miles), compares favourably with some of the best US commercial shale plays and is potentially world class.

The NSTA has announced the 33rd OFFSHORE licensing round. There was no mention of an onshore round so IMO there's no way that there will be any new licences in Lincolnshire or Norfolk in the short term. I think the BBC must have been referring to those areas of the UK Southern North Sea which lie offshore from these counties.
We hope. My confidence in the Truss momentum is a little lower. Expectation effect I guess, but had the mini-budget been operationalised better, the government would have more political capital and strength. It feels like the immediate landscape is unchanged and we may see emboldened local counsellors giving the voting finger to much needed energy projects because of that weakened start.
If vote goes badly, government will need to intervene with policy change I e. Infrastructure necessity, to get. Movement which won't be immediate IMO.
TRUSS needs to get guns out and castrate rebels in her party. Can we send Gove to Antarctica for about 2 years and Reshi a fabulous job in S valley state side.
Also need Kemi front and centre. She can communicate conservative values much more clearly and strikes me as a leader who would make decisions she can stick to.
?BBC lunchtime news specifically mentioned Lincolnshire and Norfolk as two of the areas where drilling licences would be “approved and fast tracked” #UJO #EDR. Fill yer boots!?
Looks like there will be power cuts this winter because of a lack of gas, plenty of hot air though from the greens.Wonder where there is a potential gas supply?
I wonder what Labour would be saying if they were in power and they couldn't use the silly green energy narrative to appease the gullible.

Light relief. I see the government is planning a public information campaign encouraging people to reduce energy use. I remember in the awful winter of early 1963, as a little lad, being sent to school with a home knitted balaclava helmet. Maybe Liz Truss could arrange the nationwide distribution of the knitting pattern. Any other suggestions?
Let's hope they succeed for the good of the country! The UK is destined for the dustbin if they don't.
Ministers are actively examining ways to evade legal, environmental and public scrutiny of new oil and gas projects including fracking, the Guardian has learned.
Since when have they cared what people think?

And we know what the fracking solution to it is....
BBC report that Ofgen are warning of energy shortages this winter the UK is facing “a significant risk" of gas shortages this winter, according to Ofgen and they say there is a possibility the UK could enter a "gas supply emergency”. This will effect both gas and electricity supplies. If Russia cuts off even more exports of gas this crisis will only get worse.
another dropportunity here. Scoop ANOTHER 20% in a few days....
Yep ok I meant dollars, just on auto pilot this morning.
Truss has already signed her political death wish by u turning far too early on the high tax rate. We need to get rid of lib dems pretending to be Tories to see any genuine traction on growth/self sufficiency. Truss' timing does need to improve though, the world is showing signs of serious struggle
, it's not just a UK thing. Inflation will start to reverse as quickly as it rose, shipping rates have gone down by 75% and continue to fall, we're screwed on the energy prices as they are set in USD but I believe the Fed has overcooked the rates and we'll see a house price collapse in the States, there is plenty of liquidity to soak up initial 'bargain basement deals so might avoid a 07/08. Therefore expect the Fed to have to reduce rates initially and then restart the QE process. Remember it's all a game folks with winners and losers, you lot should be old enough to know how to play. GL.
UJO's Wressle announcements have been in $US, not Pounds Sterling So it'll be another $1M in the bank for UJO and $750,000 for Egdon. With the oil price recently being slightly under $90 per barrel, I reckon UJO's $10 million announcement could come in the next few days
