QQ is one of those rare finds, a genuinely good buy. Their advanced weaponry systems will ultimately become the new norm as the battlefield has evolved dramatically over the past 5 years. £2m missiles to take out £20k drones is not sustainable.

I don't think they'll let Boris back in, can see either Morduant or Sunak coming in with my preference being the latter as he's said he'd support fracking. The issue with gas supply isn't going anywhere soon and with poor results being found in the North Sea there should be more emphasis on proven reserves onshore. Boris was originally given the go ahead by the people when we gave him a majority but he's a green eyed socialist at heart. If it takes the short term destruction of the Tories and blackouts around the country to make them realise they have to go all out on fossil fuel exploration then so be it.
This country isn't even run by the markets it's run by the media. Have you looked at what has happened to GBP/USD since the tax cuts were reversed? Yup, on the decline again. Has nothing to do with tax cuts. Look at EUR/USD as a reference point. The same goes for out politics, whilst there are a handful of socialists in the Conservative party, they are the minority, our left leaning media gives them a large pedestal to shout from and policy is changed to suit their narrative hence we end up going around in circles. As a country we need to learn to stand on our own two feet.
Rishi has actually said he supports fracking.
So you believe and trust the 'media'?
Whoever says fracking isn't important here is in technical terms: a muppet.
We easily won the vote 326 to 230. The media talk absolute bs, we are the silent majority and always have been. Remember when the polls had that commie Corbyn winning? The pound is still struggling against the USD, the reasons are little to do with Truss. She should've seen through her policy, too weak.
I'm by no means a conspiracy theorist but having visited a couple of different hospitals in 2021 and this year I can confirm they were literally empty of both patients and staff, very surreal feeling.
Moving onto fracking, let's get cracking.
Mira, you missed what I wrote "and liberal MPs within her own party."
I'm maintaining my 'Strong Buy', in a country that isn't as weak as the UK, we'd all be rather wealthy right now. But unfortunately we do live in the UK and have to suck up the falling SP for the time being. Here's my take on where we are at. Firstly, Truss is actually on the right path as to what the UK needs to do post Brexit, they made an error in giving our left leaning media something to chew on when the announced the top rate tax cut out of the blue. That being said, high taxation leads to big problems further down the road as you'll come to find the pot from which you take, gradually gets smaller and smaller. Let's put into perspective though the cost of the top rate reduction, it'd be approx £2bil to the Treasury. Meanwhile our socialist friend Sunak pi**ed away approx £400bn and the media didn't blink an eyelid! The UK has been injecting itself with cheap money (QE) for far too long and post Brexit the markets see us as living beyond our means. The markets are also betting on Truss being unable to actually generate any growth due to left wing eco groups and liberal MPs within her own party. Our energy (or lack of) policy is a good place to look to understand that our government has become weaker and weaker as the decades pass, with no one prepared to take the steps required to turn the ship around. The biggest threat to this SP is of course the fake polls and biased media portraying Labour as some sort of saviour and guaranteed election winner. If Starmer wasn't so pathetic and appeasing the left whingers with his 'ban fracking' rhetoric this SP would be at least 12p today and climbing.
I wonder what Labour would be saying if they were in power and they couldn't use the silly green energy narrative to appease the gullible.

Let's hope they succeed for the good of the country! The UK is destined for the dustbin if they don't.
Truss has already signed her political death wish by u turning far too early on the high tax rate. We need to get rid of lib dems pretending to be Tories to see any genuine traction on growth/self sufficiency. Truss' timing does need to improve though, the world is showing signs of serious struggle
, it's not just a UK thing. Inflation will start to reverse as quickly as it rose, shipping rates have gone down by 75% and continue to fall, we're screwed on the energy prices as they are set in USD but I believe the Fed has overcooked the rates and we'll see a house price collapse in the States, there is plenty of liquidity to soak up initial 'bargain basement deals so might avoid a 07/08. Therefore expect the Fed to have to reduce rates initially and then restart the QE process. Remember it's all a game folks with winners and losers, you lot should be old enough to know how to play. GL.
Bloomberg also released reports showing that the anti-fossil fuel brigade within the UK were indirectly financed by Russian roubles. The fact Russia did what it did literally hours before NS2 was due to come online says it all. Merkel was the best East German agent they've had.
What paper do you read? The Guardian? And also, do you not consider, what Putin is doing, is expanding Russia' borders? Can you remind us why you are invested here?
F me, are Labour MPs really that thick? Yes, actually they are. The markets haven't taken fright over Truss' plan, they've taken fright over the fact rhe UK is going down a path of socialism and think there could be the slimmest of chances the nutters (Labour) get into power because they know how many voters walk around with a huge chip of envy on their malnourished shoulders. The pound is collapsing because of multiple factors including, brexit, higher interest rates by the Fed, lack of growth strategy for the past 20+ years, commies (aka FOE n co.) slowing progress via JRs. I could go on and on but you get the gist. The Russians must literally be laughing over their vodka today when Starmer started banging on about 'green energy', what an absolute melt of a guy.
We are seriously contemplating leaving. Nothing gets done over here for the exact reasons you have stated. I remember just before the pandemic when FOE were being their annoying selves there was the equivalent mob in France trying to replicate their actions. The French police literally grabbed them before they could glue themselves to whatever object it was, that was the last time I saw them trying to do anything over there. It's a very sad day that the French are more ballsy than us. I genuinely believe the vast majority of us just want the government to get on with it but the media speak for the minority as do many in positions of power.
Rule of thumb, look at the MCap not SP. If we see more favourable terms in comparison to last time fracking was being discussed expect this to climb fast. Egdon reached over 30p before based on speculation alone, plus Wressle wasn't online then. Their assets dwarf current valuation but they are only worth something if we remove local councilors from the equation. Looks like Truss and Moggy will give it a good go, if they fail I suggest you leave the UK as it's on a path of rapid decline for the foreseeable. GL.
Hi Mark. You've been around nearly as long as me with Egdon. I guess we both invested as we possess something called 'common sense'. We've ultimately been proven to be correct in our way of thinking , however even in the position we find ourselves in today we still have plenty of people thinking we don't need to secure our energy supply! The pound is falling against the dollar as there has been no strategy and certainly no strong leadership for decades. I truly hope for the sake of the nation that Truss sticks with her aim and steers the ship in the correct direction. Good luck to all lth's.
