The only problem has been the opening 20p on Friday. I had put in for 10k in pre-market but got only £700s worth. The shares hit my account on Friday afternoon with a paper profit of around 2k. Didn't sell, in fact topped up hoping for a small pump and quick profit. The Market Makers then began a substantial drop in SP for various reasons. The way they act is pretty shocking sometimes as somtimes PIs panic and sell their holdings at a physical loss. If the share drops and nothing has changed with the company's fundamentals then buy more at the lower price and bring your avg down. This share will reach far higher than its current high of 28p eventually but it needs revenue and the release of the associated RNS' to achieve that. The best thing to look at is the MCap not the SP and then factor in current lack of revenue. From the comments I'd imagine most are trying to be day traders but take a longer view and relax it will rise again. As time is money only invest what you can afford to not need for at least several months not days. If it keeps falling ill simply add to my existing holding to reduce my avg thus making more profit on the way back up. It will go back up.
I always wondered why poor people are always poor, they generally blame others for their misfortune but they have only themselves to blame. The Mcap of this company is relatively peanuts at the moment considering the plans for future revenue streams. Do you think DB and others would be invested to reach 1 or ever 2 hundred million mcap? Stop pretending to be traders and be glad you have shares at anywhere near this price. Revisit in a year and you'll understand what real growth looks like.
Guys, just use Hargreaves for buying your shares, you often get a firm quote rather than taking a punt.
By the time you've decided to buy you'll have missed out.
KNB? Haha. I've already made my profit there. They are loss making at present on a tiny turnover. They were 1st to market along with MGC (who have signed a multi million pound deal) that is the only reason people are trading it otherwise it's complete hype. CBX has star power behind it for news articles which is the Brucie bonus.
This is a good play right now. Wait till some press comes out confirming DB Ventures involved! The US guys will lap it up. People need to read how the Market Maker systems work to understand why it goes up and down, 99% of the time it doesn't mean people are physically dumping stock and running. You can't buy cannabis stocks on Barclays and these other 'free trading' apps are useless. Buy today and you'll defo see a quick and tasty profit.
Got a position in here already avg 6.8 was busy getting a quick 89% over at the 'other' share and then stupidly missed the next days pre rise price here. Going to go big into Mr. DB Ventures stock, ride the early wave then put more cash back into here. If we get another RNS resulting in the announcement of some more cash the pay the bills then this is going to 10p easy, it will also calm the nerves of anyone that should be using their product! I've also got to reduce my avg. over in the US as it appears the jitters are starting to take hold. GL.
Oz up over 10%. Will be a positive day. US markets continuing their rally after reassurance on inflation reducing policies ie hiking of rates. Have a good day.
Got more at 4.89 to avg down once again. This share is getting caught up in the overall turmoil of the markets due to inflation concerns. The US market rebounded yesterday afternoon to offset another morning of heavy losses, that would have been 6th day in a row. Seen this happen time and time again, the world isn't ending, load up at cheaper prices and play the game.
Hi Jacq. I've traded a few bio stocks in my time. I'd suggest phase2 is a completely different ball game to phase3 with the latter having a far stronger chance of failure. Phase2 can be conducted with a very small number of people, and under the 200. Phase 3 can also take considerable time. Usually you see a fair bit of share price dilution as a lot of bio stocks don't have any revenue stream during the trials but in the case of MGC that isn't the case. The other thing that is good about this share is that it isn't a one trick pony with the potential for multiple revenue streams. It's too early to have a substantial Mcap but as we progress closer to hopefully bigger news sheer speculation alone will drive the Mcap substantially higher than it is now. I'm always comfy in investing in stocks where their bills are being paid by their sales. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
I've taken a position in here. It's a tough day across the board, the drop isn't that bad compared to the gains. Mcap is looking a bit pricey if you take in their revenue however, this company is sitting on big potential and that also has a value which makes the Mcap reasonable. The sector they are in is excellent so volume should always be able to be relied on when future news breaks out. We need more news in the short term and this will be a nice ticker to hold onto. Buy into the dips and sell into the highs, always keep funds available to reduce your overall price. GL.
Can someone tell me how much cash MGC has in the bank to facilitate expected growth ?
I'm out guys, cheers for the 48hr ride. Beware FOMO. On to the next project.
Claire, wtf. Are you trying to ramp or deramp this stock? The SP isn't up that much, start sweating once you see 500%.
So many weak hands. If you sell now it'll never retrace enough to get back in. People that think 100m Mcap is a lot lol you must have small bank balances.
HL or II might be under SOP. Barclays don't let you trade in cannabis. They are pathetic since ambushed by the anti fracking mob attacked them.
My avg is over 110% since January! Start trading small caps and look at the US market for better shares. GL.
UFO aka Alien Metals. Completely different sector, stupid post.
You'll regret that. I'm in at 16.9, will hold for a lot longer. Only way is up and day trading never gets the big rises.
Geordie. If you're wanting me to take you seriously then you'll have to learn how to spell first! Are you also seriously denying the rise that Argo has had since I posted? I took a position in January. Also if you think 25k positions are large then jeez I guess you haven't been trading long?
