Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Great short video of GF and the waste tip excavations. Looks bloody cold over there but at least it's not raining.
Good we are making progress, now lets see how much Gold maybe left in the tip and see what we can process economically for the future. At the end of the day it will probably need crushing down further, running through the wash plant to get the heavies out and then processing for grams/ounces per tonne. Then a cost plan for the rest of the tip, Lets hope the figures are good.
From the last results and memory one of the tips was considerably better than the others, so assuming they are on that one first and trenching to find out if some of the fines have settled at lower levels over the many years the tip(s) have been sat there being weathered. Pretty sure they know what they're doing, so let them get stuck in and hopefully some results/info within a couple of months.
GLA etc
Thank you ScotAlba, Very much appreciated for the info and yes I agree great RNS today, lets hope we have a good sustained lot of purchases over the next couple of days in advance of the Long weekend off.
Could hopefully get back to the 0.02 in a few weeks if the news keep filtering through good.
Fingers Crossed again.
Cheers
I'm only joking, but I suppose its good to get the updates to the top of the listing again.
I've been smiling since the RNS this morning, just for reference.
shout out to ScotAlba, nice one keeping your cool from your mine visit (Shows trust, thank you, many others would have gobbed off just for attention).
I'd like to go myself, did you just go on spec or did you arrange to see any of the BOD in advance before you visited?
I'm about 2 1/2 hours away, but I think the experience could be great, maybe ?
GLA
Up to .098 to buy and .0955 to sell.
Tightest spread I've seen for a while and up 15%+
Is something good happening?
Nice one people and as always, good luck all genuine holders.
Agree Spiderama, nice samples of Gold and hopefully a lot more over the coming months.
In wonder if UJO would be interested in Alba's HH stake ?
doubt it but UKOG as a desperate takeover target (maybe from the receivers at there rate of decline !)
Lets hope there's no bad news here for Wressle, just frustrated negatives from the lack of news.
Hydras probably needs some anti depression tablets or has he an ulterior motive for his constant negativity.
Well here we are the first Assay results on the Lower Llechfraith workings in the principal gold target at the Company's 100% owned Clogau-St David's Gold mine.
This just screams out a story on the Main Tv channel News programs.
With all the bad news across the world, this shiny sparkle of Great News with the Royal connections and the fact that there's Gold in Britain / Wales, can make a Fantastic news article for the whole country to see and what a PR job this could well be.
With investors screaming out for something tangible against the hope of something with "Bitcoin etc" and the potential of currency's devaluing across the world due to inflation and unsustainable debts.
This just screams out at hope even in these early days of sample testing.
GF has already multiplied up the potential into grams / ounces per tonne and so he should, this makes great TV and News.
This could really fly with the right marketing and PR.
But as usual DYOR GLA
Not bad Heid and yes, generated a smile from me.
I hope your right with the potential updates to come, but we have been well and truly left flapping about like a fish out of water !!!
OMG time for me to go home, done my work for today, sold a couple of fish products etc all staff already finished, accounts done and I made a bit more in sales than my shares in UJO did today lol.
Wednesday day off, so might look in tomorrow and see if anything constructive has happened.
In the meantime Heid, Don't get your fishnets in a knot, it might hurt your fan##y haddock. oh no, Definitely need to go home.
Best wishes all including Heid, Christine and Karina and all the other UJO people.
Would this be a better board if we talked about UJO as a Business rather than whatever social club this has reduced to.
I appreciate Heid you have/had a "relationship" type whatever thing with DB either by messages or face to face (I'm not really bothered).
But I for one had more respect for you when you discussed actual Oil issues (They where actually quite good in lots of ways).
You seem now to be all over the place, some spiteful, some scorned and some down right "oh no not again" .
Please get back on with the Oil stuff not the Soiled stuff.
Best wishes really all of the women out there on here at least 3 of you, but lets stick to Business Please.
Cheers HDT
Looks like DB and UJO haven't got the earlier conviction they had with Beacon.
I would have thought they would have at least held there holding above 3% and bought another 430M at .0005 = £215,000. Quite a small investment compared to the others on the American side, and we have the cash !!.
I appreciate throwing good money after bad is a bad system, but does he think the side track will fail? If so, might have to sell at a loss.
If it's likely to succeed then at least take up the offer and the break even is then .001, also this would have caused less disruption than potentially buying in the market (currently slightly less than offer), but very likely to cause a stock shortfall and end up paying more than the offer.
I note "Tulip Oil" has also let there holding drop again to 23% from 31.8% @ 4,256,246,528
But "Tim Leslie" has increased his from 2.8% to 4.7% @ 875M (Now more than UJO)
UJO now approximately 2.3% with same 430M .
It doesn't smell right at the moment, so what is going on?
DB is the CEO of UJO investment company but not investing, in my opinion on the obvious investments that he was convinced on less than12 months ago?
The couple of hundred grand on this is what ? about a week or two maybe of Wressle money.
I think we could do with a bit more insight on to what the actual plans are of UJO.
Are we actually going to see more of Wressle developed in 2024, Keddington, West Newton, Biscathorpe, America or anything else etc (Dividends / Buy Back). !!
It's good to have a plan that in most cases works. I expect some delays or issues but this "mushroom Treatment" is a bit wearing thin and it's pretty obvious that people are fed up, hence the SP decline.
What happened to this PR company ? all quiet on the UK news front !!
FRUSTRATED is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
GLA DYOR blah blah blah
I believe they were supposed to be spudding the latest wells end January and then mid February.
This with the 1500HP rig.
Has anybody any updates at all?
Hopefully successful, but they are usually quicker with the RNS's than this quiet spell.
Cheers
I cant see there being a law against showing some Gold. I appreciate an RNS with figures would be official but a nice handful of quartz with Gold just confirms what we all think and hope and would be a good PR start whilst waiting for some official figures.
It would be nice to say "First samples are on there way to the assayers / labs for testing and first results over the next few months". Whatever they might say, if they say a date then make sure it can be done before that "Under promise and out perform", would be good for confidence.
fingers crossed etc
Nice twitter photo link Robbie, and as Tesco says every little helps.
It does look, with all the selling still going on, that there is a lot of impatience out there and many people will be selling at a loss. The spread seems to be to wide for any bit traders and looking at the buys and sells it seems there's not many big buys (2M+) so dealing costs will be absorbed with slight movements up.
The bigger sells seem chunkier (5M+/-) but to me, unless I'm missing something must be selling at a loss or I think the "Victoria Gold person" Not sure exactly on name !! or somebody else with a decent holding less than 3% (or it would be notifiable with a buy or sell if over 3%).
I'd like to get more but I'd prefer to sell out some other stuff first, (fed up with Oil shares), but most Aim shares seem a bit battered over last few months.
Anyway keep up the enthusiasm, I'm sure it will pay off soon.
GLA DYOR etc
The golden colourations etc can be all sorts of copper, sulpites, pyrites etc and obviously Gold.
As the mine was originally for some Copper I believe until they found the Gold then there's a good chance some of the colouration is some of these by products.
Still fingers crossed there's a good Grammage / tonne, the more the merrier and that's what the sampling will be for.
I'd imagine the chunks being chipped out and drilled etc for dynamiting are the best visual suspects for starters and will be the first stories being talked about on the news whilst we await more intensive testing etc.
all looking good so far and before you get the hundreds of tonnes mentioned in the interview, for testing, you've got to start with a pick axe and bucket.
Confidence is building and you know what happened last time when they got the dewatering license. (SP jumped)
My plan is longer term as I also think the aerial surveys on the other prospects could also lead to a good thing over the next 5-10 years.
GLA DYOR etc
Here's a picture of some gold ore, nothing welsh but plenty of images on google which could well be similar to what we've seen on the photos.

Nice find "SizeOfAcorns".
Looks like the "Jack Williams" load was worked and hopefully not all cleared. I think with the 3d lazer scans and all the plans they are likely to do that they should optimise the gold finds and not just go semi blindly like they must have done in the past (following the veins until they ran out) .
Reading the full story its a bit of history and maybe not all politically correct these days with "Jim'l Fix it" filming the young girl wanting to be in the welsh gold mine.
I suppose MA being the main geologist and GF being the companies face and probably lots of paperwork have "fixed it so far" now lets see the shiny stuff and a nice working plant to crush the ore and extract the gold in all its fineness to nuggety chunky for us to see and at some time negotiate good selling prices.
I'd love to be involved directly here but alas still a bit busy and not got the cash yet for the 10% share etc.
GLA DYOR and try and enjoy yourselves.
Yes Taverham, I believe it has been drilled using a water based drilling mud which then buggered up the porosity of the "I think Dolomite (not sure)" this then restricted the flow of any oil/gas. Obviously Gas is easier to get through whatever porosity the rock has than oil, but there are ways and means in this modern day to get through problems !! I'd imagine its down to cost against return and any green type issues. A proppant squeeze (limited fracks plus something to open up the rockwork) is better than regular fracking creating small frequent tremors.
They suggested using an oil based mud to get the job done and quite a few million pounds. But look like the complexity's of Rathlin, Reabold and UJO partnership are causing the cash flow delays. (Therefore it might never happen) as nothing is guaranteed and I'd imagine a lender would want Guarantee's.
On the same note would you trust the S&S signed paper saying "I guarantee this will work" ???
Maybe I'm reading this wrong but from the Reabold RNS today, this implies to me that they are looking to sell off the West Newton asset rather than develop it and drill as anticipated from previous discussions including UJO.
Are there any constructive comments out there that may clear this up?
"Reabold aims to replicate its success with the Victory project across the other key assets in its portfolio, most notably, West Newton and Colle Santo. Both assets are significant gas resources, which, like Victory, can make a meaningful contribution to improve energy security in Western Europe."
I personally would like them to drill and prove the asset, but looks more like sitting around and trying to get some body else with big pockets to buy this and potentially take the lions share of the potential money. I know UJO do not operate any sites and looks like that's not going to change any time soon as DB seems to be lacking ambition on anything more than an investment company (Fair enough, we pay our money and take our chances).
But wouldn't it be nice to have more than Wressle producing and even nicer to be able to control things ourselves rather than the Heyco/Egdon calling all the shots (including the other recent asset permissions".
Or maybe this is the best we can hope for !! a company with quite a lot of nice potential assets that may never get developed for years und until somebody else comes along and does it for us. (Looks Like Egdon again) we just sit and wait and wait and hope and wait some more!!
Maybe I'm reading this wrong but from the RNS today, this implies to me that Reabold are looking to sell off the West Newton asset rather than develop it and drill as anticipated from previous comments and observations.

3rd paragraph.
I personally would like them to drill and prove the asset, but looks more like sitting around and trying to get some body else with big pockets to buy this and potentially take the lions share of the potential money. I saw all the hype about the mega millions Reabold was going to get for the Corallion shares, then to only be deflated when the deal was finally done.
I agree the cash balance looks good on paper, but feels like "trusting Dracula in a blood bank" may be a safer option than the current 2 !! Seems also the KS group was also not given the confidence to be trustworthy.
Looks like a genuine White Knight is needed here to get the shareholders the value that's anticipated.
Do they exist on AIM?
Yes agree with you both Lee and Robbie, some absolutely fantastic PR opportunities here, just a 1-2 minute news clip with George and Mark with a handful of unprocessed glittering quartz with the nuggety Gold saying "We knew it was here, its just a bit wet !!!" plus all the extra hype would probably double SP when the markets re open day after.
Just my opinion and as they sat DYOR etc

Hmmm, looking interesting now and very Tempting for the New Year.
It feels like a bit of a no brainer purchase for the probably inevitable NRW go ahead with the extra dewatering permissions and from this the potential of seeing the Gold without Scuba Diving equipment on !!
Fingers crossed and no doubt I'll be looking in but if not,
To all you Fabulous and Genuine Alba Investors out there have a Great Christmas and New Year.
To all the others "Humbug !!"

Nice Photo, I wouldn't like to fall down there with or without the lights on lol.
Fingers crossed for the extra dewatering and I'm sure we will be down to L4 quicker than the rain falling (we Hope)
