Ok sounds positive Grey Panther, serif and tovoc.
I hope your right and that the irish parliament get shut of Ryan asap, he's a liability really on Ireland and ok let them get the green energy sorted but until then they need the Gas and so do we.
Let's get this partner on board soon, so hopefully progress can be made.
Hopefully a better drill than Serenity, although still hoping for a production positive before year end or a decent buyout of the 25%.
Cheers
Yesterday Nookie. Its on their RNS at the bottom of the page and I think it was on the title.
Potential sh#t sandwich good news followed by not so good potentially.
Nice try Gwynwin, i think we knew your 100k number. But wouldn't it be nice to buyback 1M and get shut of all the negatives on here.
Seems mostly green boxes on this 25 list of posts.
Keep smiling Gwynwin and TAC, we need your positivity in this world of trolls and goobers.
Anyway roll on the next $1M income from Wressle and let's hope WN gets a likely start date soon.
I appreciate that Alba has given up the license on Limerick and Groc has given up Inglefield now.
But what costs where incurred annually on these licenses cash / office time etc?
Was there a commitment obligation on these or could they not have just moth balled them both for say 3-5 years whilst the important sites where taking the time and money and then come back to them later.
Ok I'm asking as it doesn't make anything surrendering so I must assume there was an ongoing cost that they are now saving?
Any ideas on how much?
I was hoping they would do the dewatering and species license at the same time. It makes sense as some of the information will be relevant and its easier to refer to both applications at the same time as and when needed.
Cheers Scotalba and now lloydsterlini.
I understand the frustrations even with the other good ish news coming through.
This maybe taken as a silly comment but, all these calculations on the potential value of a gas prospect, could the field/block have already been used?
I mean the corrib field is next door so to speak and although there are contours and faults etc underground that we cannot plan for without various appraisal wells etc.
Inishkea could be lower down than corrib and all the gas has risen and been sucked out already.
I really hope not as I'm invested here for more than Wressle, but have we any proof at all that there is 1.5tcf ish ? Even 10% would be nice. Just asking as I'd like to know if there is true potential here. Cheers and I hope there is lots of gas etc.
buy price now under 0.0009 is it worth a punt ?
This was as high as 0.0013 not so long ago and just before Sasanof 0.008.
I appreciate dilution has a bad effect, but something has to be happening for the recent placing, It's not to just keep the lights on is it?
Seems consolidation is ongoing. extra % for Clogau to 100% for shares and a small placing for equipment etc for the hopefully soon dewatering (point noted ScotAlba) from end of March onwards.
Got shut of Limberick (not panicking, but a sell would have be nice, Obviously no real value)
Need shut of HorseHill as that's a never never land asset, Plus get the loan money back (any news on that one ?)
Seems Alba are focusing and will be concentrating on the Welsh Gold brand and everything to do with it, whilst Groc gets stuck into everything Greenland.
I do feel this maybe the correct strategy as two many fingers in pies and all associated time spent and probable cashflow to ventures that are not making anything and potentially could take many many years to achieve anything positive, kind of take your eye of the ball, so to speak. I think the Gold is there so lets get it out and capitalise on the age old value of that nice yellow shiny stuff.
GLA etc etc
Just wondering with all this hype again and the placing and dilution what it would actually cost Clontarf for their 10% share of a new drill site in the Sasanof block?
Maybe this small ish but quite dilutive placing was just to get things moving for the next drill plan and maybe another placing for the drilling costs, maybe even back around the 0.0025 area, which means with hype and Ramping etc may still be a double plus on the current price.
Just a thought and was more interested to see what a cost would be and could Clontarf now afford their commitment.
Cheers
Hi Robbie and other positive thinkers BB included.
I've been watching the cheeky 2,500,000 buys recently, from 0.001 to .00125 and a few 2,750,000 as well.
Curiosity when would a director have to announce a share purchase?
I think last time was not the day after but a few days later with a total amount purchased.
I'm not saying this is definitely a director transaction, but could well be broker orders to fill each day without being one big transaction. Seems well over 15M now over last few days, I appreciate not a lot on the scale of things, but curiously nice.
Also a nice 25% increase on the 0.001 purchase price.
Feels like something going on. NRW or GROC or both. Feeling good and even a bit of Fomo, I think they say!!
I agree Robbie, I've had the same with Clontarf about lithium and that was speculation to nothing and Egdon with fracking and that got dumped on by Sunak. I just hope we have at least the dewatering from this, that would be a fantastic start.
Anyway once all the excitement calms down a bit (hopefully not for a while) can you let us know a bit about these charts you mention. A few other shares I'm in have mentioned charts for that specific one but I'd like to know more if possible, or as they say every little helps !! any info would be appreciated cheers HDT
I'm just surprised how much a share can move with no apparent news and just currently speculation.
I'm not complaining obviously, but just wondering what could happen if they hit some proper gold in the hopefully not to distant future. "Feverish maybe !!"
fingers crossed anyway
All good and I'm watching with eagerness.
Unfortunately we've probably seen it all before, so hopefully with something positive from an RNS i.e. dewatering or Groc updates then that will put something concrete in the moves then onwards and upwards hopefully.
I just wish I'd got some more at 0.001, still it averaged me down and with good news I might be on break even soon.
Good luck all, well except good luck !! lol
Hi Tony,
Good question and I'm sure there will be several different opinions from the positives and the negatives from all shareholders involved with both companies or the Wressle 3 (sound's like 70's not guilty convicts !!)
I personally feel that Europa has been well oversold, due to the Serenity drill fail and the lack of anything confident at the time coming from S.O. also the delayed Inishkea from Ireland and the pull out of Morocco. It's hopefully just a compound of negatives and a lack of any positive action other than Wressle. From that though a consolidation is probably what is going on and hopefully if Serenity develops later this year, or at least something positive with the tie in that might bring in some positive rewards. The other projects may be slow burners so 2024 with a bit of luck, but still great potential to get a valuation maybe closer to £20M.
UJO on the other hand are so much better with the PR updates, yes 40% of Wressle and several updates regarding other sites that need developing so that brings some confidence, although the SP has been considerably better (50p area) a few months ago. The buyback will tighten up demand in a while as only about 1% bought so far. The dividend, great news although a maiden dividend so far, there is confidence about more regular ones over the next 12 months, so that's good although not guaranteed for share price increase as you will know with i3e.
I also feel and will probably get shot down for this, that UJO seems mainly to be an investor in the projects and not actually an operator (this seems to be Egdon's job), so overhead volatility is less and it's clearer about where the money is going and not the black hole that Europa seem to be flying around.
Basically I feel with some good news Europa could well have a much better SP and therefore Market cap whilst UJO is more stable but could also fly with another Wressle type producer (West Newton, Biscathorpe etc).
Just my opinion and I'm not qualified at all so as they say DYOR and from your posts I know you will do this Tony.
Good luck all and lets see some positivity on all our investments.
Cheers
Well this board is definitely a drag currently.
I agree with some of you and the negative brainless numptys are getting tedious. I suppose thats there game.
I accept your research BB but also, as you say we need an official Rns just to clarify whats happening and confirm an estimated value/volume. Ps could you put km on your numbers rather than just k (it had me wondering). Cheers
Lee pipe down, your just showing your self up, if you can't be constructive, stop being so dammed destruction, whats the point?
If genuine shareholders are here in Alba or Groc, then things look positive although the delays are always going to be frustrating.
Everybody wants instant success and an investment that grows so quickly and continously that the excitement and adrenaline gives us such a great feeling.
Unfortunately we are in the real world and governments, Councils, trolls, general numptys, cashflow etc always put the breaks on or cause delayed crashes etc.
Thats AIM, so chill out and go with the flow.
Anyway best of luck and roll on the belated RNS's.
cheers Serif,
I'll have a look and hope for some good stuff.
ah well, still hoping for a link if available.
I got the attending ticket but cancelled as I don't think I'll be in London in 30 mins and I've not got a Tie on me tonight !!
Anyway a nice end on todays purchases well over 1M shares (better than normal) so they've bought potentially in anticipation of a well revised meeting, so hopefully its a good 20 minute presentation followed by 10 minute Q&A and enough confidence and potential to be a swing in share price upwards as people potentially realise this has been oversold and there is still some potential with more than just Wressle.
Fingers crossed and that SO has actually been told the share price today and not fudge it like the last presentation before Serenity dusted although better than 50/50.
Come on Europa show us the potential and prospects for 2023.
Probably a silly question but the 1 to 1 event tonight ! is it just an attend only or will it be shown live online as well?
if it's online, has anybody got a link I can watch it on please.
Cheers
Well the buy backs look like 1,150,000 to date.
I'm not sure about the ability to short these or even if that could occur, but surely these loose shares should be tightening up the quantity of sellers at below 30p.
I appreciate its only about 1% of the company but that's not so bad. How much of the company would the people out there with a brain suggest, might be a good buyback target to really tighten up on the drifters and loose traders ?
Personally i'd maybe say 3-5% should tighten up a lot in these increments. Whats your thoughts?
Cheers Tony, looks like Europa might be more of a cash pile company than a producing assets company (except Mainly on Wressle), for the foreseeable future (2024 - 2028) depending on plans and Gov EPL etc.
Seems a shame with the previous to Serenity results ambition, still with cash in the bank there maybe some plans from the impending meeting and a good investment to follow, but I wont hold my breath.
Thanks for your comments and also Olive input, Majid did say no more drilling planned but the 91% relief !! Can this be used against Wressle expenditure and profit or must it be North Sea Serenity/Tain future. ?
I've a bad vibe on EOG dropping a bit tomorrow from Serenity plans but may pick up again soon if Oddie has an actual positive plan moving forward from the meeting. Fingers crossed. GLA etc
