I'd like to try and take a positive or 2 from forrest's big part bailing out with just under £2M plus the other sales.
I can't see this being some Tax bill, I know we would like to think that and I'm sure at this level his accountants can defer this for years or to a token capital gains tax.
I just really hope that there's not some bull from lucan to let his pals bail out and we are stuck with the scraps.
I truly believe we should be producing more gas soon, but this rollercoaster company has had more ups and down that the proverbial underwear on the ladies of the night. I just hope they don't leave us in a sticky mess!!
So any positives other than this bloke bailing and somebody(s) buying.
Seems at the moment, more sells than buys.
I appreciate LSE sale/purchases are not accurate, but the SP is up. So again is this MM playing again or are we too small for them to bother with?
I fancy topping up a chunk more, but prefer under .011.
Anyway still waiting for the fun when NRW gets finished with the paperwork!!
Great RNS today, but putting the current SP into perspective, and people selling now. Realistically could this not go much further and beat last September's price now we have even more gas being released and soon to be in production after clean up.
People talk about 2-3p a share and some much higher, surely it makes sense not to sell to cheap, or is a profit a profit after the dilutions.
I'm holding for a while longer. Being brave !! Or stupid !! Or greedy !!
I really do not trust this person from some of the stories.
I'm just hoping he can pump up HH and UKOG enough to get us out of the asset at a fair price and firstly get the loan money back to us so we can invest it into the Mine.
I hopefully have more confidence in the Alba team than anything Lenigas or Sanderson says or does.
We want the gold from Alba, the Oil can be with other Oilers. Fingers crossed
Why this company has not had a takeover bid I do not know, UJO could currently take Europa out for cash at Current share price.
With the probable cash in Europa's bank, get the assets for a few more months of Wressle sales at pretty much a gift.
Maybe I'm wrong but with a rough calculation from 14/11/22 RNS we had cash of £8.3M to 31/7/22.
Take off this the Serenity cost of £4.8M = £3.5M approx. balance.
Add on from "UJO Wressle 40%" RNS's from 25/8/22 $8M to 6/2/23 $13M another $5M (maybe £4M after exchange rates) = £7.5M approx.
If Wressle is currently pumping out about $22M+ / year (not including recent gas turbine improvements, estimated up to 20% better "$25-$26M "£22M"), then Europa's share about £6.5M ish/ year. This would potentially give a cash pile of around £14M over next 12 months.
I accept there are costs for operations and BOD etc. But this doesn't even have an input from Serenity or Inishkea or any other assets we may have.
So to me, this is a no brainer, we haven't any other liability's at the moment I do not think, so this low SP doesn't make much sense.
Even out new CEO has bought in at .0124p and he should now a lot more about the bank balance and future than me and my calculator.
Anyway Do your research, good luck all and fingers crossed for better times and a re-rate.
Alarm Bells ringing with that name !!
From memory, but need to do research again, this is a person I believe not to be trusted.
Ramper professional, but might get Alba out of HH hopefully.
DYOR etc
Well when it hits the fan it does it !!
Scotgold down over 60% so far today as they appear to be mining waste mainly and not enough of the gold they expected.
They have produced many thousands of ounces of gold over their time so far, but when that runs low to dry the liability's are frightening.
I really really hope that if/when the de-watering permission for Alba is given we have the gold and not just fancy 3d mapping etc.
On a vultures note, there maybe some low priced mining equipment going in Scotland sometime, maybe Alba could pick some up if possible !!
Apologies if this sounds like I'm taking the proverbial out of Scotgold, I'm definitely not.
I have been following them for a while and fancied an investment in them along with Alba as I felt they could be good to tie up ideas together etc. Now the MC of Scotgold is not much more than Alba, could be even nicer to have a tie up !! Just an idea.
Anyway not sure how to take the RNS on here today. I just hope its progressing genuinely and there is going to be a good result sometime soon.
GLA etc
Nice buy backs this week. I reckon another 311k plus to get 3% + out of the system into treasury will start making a more positive difference. Just my gut feeling and anything could happen really, but with less floating about, I can see more positive times.
Roll on next week, a nice RNS with more buy back to 3%+ will do me nicely. Have a good weekend all decent UJO shareholders.
GLA & Aimo
Another couple of 5M purchase after the clock. It wouldn't give me a price on 2.5M on the HL website, just 1M purchase or whatever to sell. Looks like maybe another boat I've missed !!
Lets see what happens next week, there's been lots of false starts on this, but I guess when the News drops we will be thinking if only we had some more etc etc
But if does drop back to .11 - .10 I'll be back in for another top up or maybe a broker offer for some of a future placing hopefully.
GLA etc
Feels the reason why Groc is mentioned so many times on this BB is due to the lack of anything else constructive to talk about. Personally I don't mind the info about Groc as on their BB there's hardly any messages, just goes to show the majority of Groc UK shareholders are probably Alba holders initially.
I don't mind either way but would much prefer some positive news from Alba and NRW, Feels like the Alba transactions maybe showing people jumping the gun and hoping unless as always is rumoured imminent news or failing that its the FOMO !!
Who knows and fingers crossed for a great RNS monday.
GLA etc
Current count at 148 trades at time of typing. Although there's lots of very small transactions there's a few in the millions. I also wonder about the two recent 25M purchases at .11p.
Could there be something in the news about NRW and dewatering, that some people might know about in advance or could this be speculative hype?
Where is Scotalba ? any insights please if available
Cheers HDT
I hope so, it just seems frustratingly slow.
I appreciate these things take time and it's not just digging a ditch and finding more oil, I also appreciate (having Angus Shares) that if a CEO says it will only take a few weeks and it ends up taking months and a few hiccups, then that is also really bad.
I just think we would all like an action plan that is not just H1/H2 etc and I think with the world as it is, just a bit of positive movement might make a bit of constructive difference.
Ok maybe I'm being a bit impatient, so I'll go with the flow, make a brew and might even do some work for my works. !!
Keep smiling Heid, TAC, Joking, milnrowmug, itsawrap, etc etc and a few others not listed.
I hope I get a day or two off and I might just show a face at the AGM if possible, might even buy a drink or two. GLA etc
An acquisition sounds nice, but we could do with an operations team. I appreciate Egdon and Mark Abbott are doing a fine job at Wressle and may well sort Biscathorpe out soon "Hopefully", but with their recent acquisition etc there work load maybe too high.
So a take over of a company with a proven operations team that maybe a bit short of cash flow or direction. I'm not sure which company(s) maybe available, but I'm sure they will exist.
Igas = M. Cap £23M "but with messy Fracking licenses"
Europa = M. Cap £11M "not sure on operation team, but nice Wressle 30% and Irish prospect"
Egdon = M. Cap £14M "Great team but 2/3 off shares solidly held, not likely take over"
I believe there are about 75 Oil companies on AIM, some are real bad uns !, some have prospects.
I'm sure Mr D. Bramell knows something about most of them, I'm sure I would if I had his calculator and current income.
There's 1 or 2 around the Falklands but gotta watch out for the Argies getting ruffled again!!
dividends always nice.
I3e is done monthly, I think this would be great for UJO as well, although the i3e SP is well down on my original purchases.
So monthly vote for me at say .001p / share / month = 4.8% if SP was 25p
= about £110,00 / month easily affordable. Double this also easily affordable and may even get a big boost in the SP.
Even quarterly would be very nice. Something to smile about hopefully.
GLA
I like the Wressle updates every few weeks.
I'm not saying we don't see the $1M updates.
I just feel that we seem to be anxiously waiting and chasing an expected date every so many days.
Maybe it might be better in a summary quarterly at a planned date rather than us lot guessing a date then being concerned if its later than this, or ecstatic if early.
I'm trying to be constructive with the comments and thoughts, so please work with me.
I think it would be nice to have at least a quarterly update, with cashflow, cash in bank, developments, updates if any on planning permission's etc, share buy back potential plans etc.
Even if this is just on the website following maybe an RNS saying this quarters updates now available. It might shut up the bashers and give loyal shareholders at least something of decent news hopefully.
well this makes a change to read rather than some of the negative stuff usually, I especially like the part with the chickens. lol Best wishes all and keep smiling.
I think I've NOT sussed it !!
I agree Heid, the SP should be going up steadily with all the cash and prospects along with the current regular profits from Wressle.
I appreciate Jokings view on shorting and I'm trying not to believe his thoughts, but he may have a point. Pretty guaranteed at the moment that after a buyback then the SP drops where really it should be on a hold to steady rise.
TAC I get your frustrations, but there are some potentially really great assets we hold, I get we need to get them sorted and not just sit on them (Forever !). A sell off might appeal but only if we want to sit still and retire with just Wressle and maybe Biscathorpe once the planning is sorted.
So rounding up, I've NOT sussed out why the SP is slowly dropping when fundamentally it seems a no brainer that it should be creeping up. At this rate we are a cash generating company with loads of reserves and ripe for an aggressive takeover of ourselves. We are likely to be on a prospective PE of 2-3 this year at current SP.
So yes I've NOT sussed out why the price is so low, it shouldn't be IMO.
DYOR etc
Seems what look like chunky 50k to 100k sales are mostly being re-taken up. So decent level of support it seems from probably warrant conversion flips.
I think its constructive and why not.
A profit fair enough from warrant holders and hopefully new and existing investors picking up on the drops. We just need a Rns for proof and an update.
GLA etc
It was actually monday my first dabble on this one. Look like I don't know what day it is!!!
