RE: IGToday 14:06
IG seems to have completed thrown in the towel. I'm not sure who came up with the idea that everything would be very straightforward once MDH was elevated to AIM. IG's position is this: You can sell MDH shares in Aquis but you can't buy any stock. From the end of June (60 days from the 1st May announcement about them no longer supporting Aquis stocks), any Aquis stocks will disappear. Which would be fine as far as MDH is concerned because, as of today, they are trading on AIM - well before the 30th June deadline. But here's the problem. At this point in time, IG have no idea if or when MDH will be available to buy and sell on AIM, i.e., trade normally on their platform. So there you have it.
I've never had any problems with IG over the years, but this is a real black mark as far as I am concerned. Not sure what assurances MDH claim to have received from IG, or others, but as far as IG is concerned, currently at least, they are being very non-committal about their future involvement with MDH.
