as long as they're not spending the 200% on Italian cars and clothing too much , have been in this share for a fair few years ( too many for my liking) but can't sell because of obvious market value . We need results simple as ......
oh and I got 10k at 60.4, as I got them when it was cheaper to buy than sell(backwardation)
This year includes Secar revenues, so the 200% increase is as a result of including those numbers.
The half year numbers would've also only included 2 weeks of mask sales, so the EUR400k+ sales will mostly go into H2, together with those post 24th Sept.
wrt Gipave, Itherchemica are very busy promoting it in Italy. They've done 2 online conferences(Sardinia and Rome), plus one I watched on https://eco-forum.it/
Also coming up,
Trieste on the 24th Nov : https://iterchimica.it/eventi/seminario-fad-pavimentazioni-a-elevata-vita-utile/
Bologna on 2nd dec : https://iterchimica.it/eventi/convegno-fad-nuove-tecnologie-per-pavimentazioni-stradali-ecosostenibili-dalla-ricerca-fino-alla-produzione-e-realizzazione/
They were also on RAI 1 (akin to BBC1) on Saturday 7th Nov

Trek,
Was very well bid(off order book) for 100k last week.
All products seem to fit well within Nantworks, including Elastomers. Reported by the company and in the Cenkos note " It is however progressing a relationship with a leading player in the electric mobility US market to assess the opportunity to implement the use of tyres enhanced with G+ graphene to reduce rolling resistance."
Nantmobility?

Must dash...
that for me is the worrying thing if revenues increase 200% and loss 200k that means a much worse position than last year.
( in my laymans terms)
If the revenue stayed the same as last year the loss would be mindblowing ,
yes we do need updates not just on the masks but the gipave ( hope they're not selling out cheap on us) "graysorber" had opportunities this year with oil spills ( unfortunate occurrences but were we even offering services if only for free to prove the product works?)
Something feels wrong.
Yes revenues increased but so did loss by €200k.
We have plenty of cash to see us through. We could do with an update on mask sales and as it is an immediate cash injection. I note the RNS from RMS today about farm2farm selling out of their antiviral masks! Could do with our PR getting their acts together.
An investor day or trading statement would help.
Encouragingly a big buy gone through today, 86k. Not seen one that size in ages. Also lots of 10k or more share sells of late. It’s been difficult to trade even that size in the past so someone is happy to take em on the books.
The battery news imo is going to be huge but I thought that with Graphysorber.
Does feel that we are at a pivotal point. The darkest hour is the hour before dawn and all that....
Trek
not very good with numbers does this mean Directa made more of a loss this year even with a 200% increase:-
Financial Highlights
· Total revenue increased by approximately 200% to €2.81 million* (1H2019: €0.95m)
· EBITDA loss similar to comparable period at €1.47m (1H2019: loss of €1.45m)
· Adjusted loss after tax** of €1.95.m (1H2019: adjusted loss of €1.83m)
· Loss after tax of €2.45m (1H2019: loss of €1.78m)
· Cash at period end €7.49m (FY2019 €10.9m), in-line with management expectations
l think you need some brain anti bodies never mind the cov
Didn't you read RNS the half yearly report less than 2 months ago?
You keep banging on about no mask sales, but they sold EUR 400,000 from the launch on June 14th - September 24th(date of half yearly report)
I was assuming you were joking, when saying no sales, as surely you must have read the company release. But obviously not.
For your info from the half yearly report, which you must have missed -
Total revenue increased by approximately 200% to EUR2.81 million* (1H2019: EUR0.95m)
EUR5m contract for the provision of environmental services to GSP Offshore, commencing in February 2020 with annual revenue of EUR0.7m over a period of seven years; and
US$3m contract for waste management services to Cummins Romania, covering a period of three years commencing on 1 October 2020
Textile revenue reduced to EUR0.54m (1H2019: EUR0.82m) with Covid-19 impacting customer demand
Significant and growing customer interest being shown in Co-mask(TM). Orders received to date with a value of over EUR400,000, including 25,000 units by a leading Italian luxury sportscar manufacturer
Looking pretty bleak here guys n gals. Without sales , yes selling stuff , bringinging money into the company, this will be low 50's by xmas. Where are the sales figures? Where are the director purchases?
Its all noise but no action.
I wonder if they can sell any before the vaccine is up and running ? Looks like a lost cause , they certainly won't be selling in any volume to make an impact on the ever weakening sp.
Lol! What does it take to nudge you guys out of your slumber? Unless it's a link to a piece of possible good news .?
This is fast becoming a disaster . I heard someone on here bought a mask but does anybody think they may have sold another one to somebody else?.
Would be good for the sales chart
What’s with these trades of 2 and 10 shares? What a load of nonsense, how can they be genuine? Anyway, just the 1.6%dripping off at the moment, hey ho. Can’t remember the last time we had a serious blue period on this one. Think we’re all gonna get shafted, something is not adding up here.
yes it's very disconcerting a company with so so much potential , they MUST be doing something wrong.
Just the 3.85% today then...soon be in the 50's
... For those without twitter "NantEnergy - Fluidic Energy @NantEnergy Head of R&D Fabio Albano talking at #SPIcon about benefits of hybrid battery storage systems | #NASEW19 #energy #energystorage"
I'd be very surprised if NexTech are not somehow connecting in some way to NantEnergy(PSS' co).
Nant have a hybrid system that uses their showcased Zinc Air battery, with a Lithium Ion battery. A new solution with the later being Lithium Sulphur would be far better : https://nantenergy.com/zinc-air-lithium/
So, since the battery news this week, I've been trying to do some digging and find a connection from PSS to NexTech, looking for a connection between the two names(Bill Burger & Fabio Albano) listed as NexTech contacts on the bottom of the RNS.
Nada up until just now, as was just looking at Bill Burger. Then I looked on the NantEnergy Twitter page and low an behold the second most recent tweet (Sept 2019) is of Fabio Albano presenting at a conference.
https://twitter.com/NantEnergy/status/1176926373039919104/photo/1
He was VP of technology at NantEnergy then, but moved this july to NexTech.
"Fabio Albano is now CTO at NexTech Batteries, a developer of lithium-sulfur batteries. He was most recently the VP of technology at NantEnergy."
https://pv-magazine-usa.com/2020/07/17/job-moves-lior-handelsman-leaves-solaredge-plus-form-energy-generate-omnidian-firstlight-mp2-jurchen/
PSS is obviously still active behind the scenes of Directa. He was one of the Authors and designers of the recent Antival tests. He's mentioned at the top " Patrick Soon-Shiong" and later as PS-S
"Author contributions: This study was designed by FDM, VP, GD, MSali PS-S and MP. Infection experiments and related assays were performed by FDM, IP and AS. Bacteria-based experiments were performed by VP and AA. Electron microscopy was performed by VP and AA. Cell viability experiments were performed by FD and GP. Data analysis and figure preparation was conducted by FDM, VP and GB. FDM, VP, GD, MSali, PS-S and MP wrote the paper. "
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.09.16.20194316v2.full.pdf
Looking forward to NexTech actually doing what's posted on their website, with or without NantEnergy in tow "The next phase for NexTech will be to bring its Patented Li-S Battery Technology to the Global market!"
It’s always been on the cards here. A bid only needs to be at the year high sp with 30% holding to kick off. Obviously it then needs a majority vote. A quid would be a rip off. Trek kicking and screaming won’t matter a jot!
Trek
covgaz,
You could be close. I've been in three companies in the past(FGN, MARL & recently HGM) where unexplained falls occur just before a bid. All those three bids were less than most shareholders expected, but were accepted by shareholders as the premium looked attractive when compared to the reduced SP. I wouldn't be surprised if a £1 bid came in and was accepted.
This could be taken private , the market is giving DCTA no room for error whatsoever. No sales in the news is being gnawed away at the SP , it needs sales.
Could be massive in the right hands , I would be afraid of the biggest shareholder here.
i think the tarmac project could be just as big as the batteries, so many projects to pick from.
Patrick soon-shiong doesn't own 28.89% for no reason.
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/905644/biotech-billionaire-patrick-soon-shiong-raises-stake-in-graphene-maker-directa-plus-905644.html
I know the link is from September 2019 but the same hold true today.....
BTW, they are selling their masks in local pharmacies(Slight discount to their website prices), the latest being
https://www.farsalute.it/2020/10/29/mascherine-grafene-gcomask-proprieta-antivirali-e-antibatteriche/
On Directa social media they say "Soon in other pharmacies ??" (Europe/Africa emoji )
*shouldn't be far off
Sounds like the full commercial agreement of selling to NexTech should be far off. The Tons of Graphene GC mentions is a huge figure!
100% agree on the PR. What are Tavistock doing?
I did like GC mentioning the news pipeline coming next; it keeps investors happy and brings in new ones.
Watching the news today regarding efficacy of different face masks. A missed opportunity not sending Which Magazine one of their masks, who are on the news today.
Just can't understand why Directa are not selling their masks by the millions, as if everyone was wearing them(I wear mine all the time) the outbreak would be far less than now. If only people were aware that these Graphene masks also protect the wearer, not just protecting other people!! That's clearly also down to a lack of PR!
https://www.which.co.uk/news/2020/10/which-face-mask-tests-reveal-huge-differences-in-filtration/
Worth saying twice!
The battery tech could be v significant, priced in tons of graphene for directa!
He could do with updating the market on mask sales rather than just saying significant.
Not sure if we have a background seller as any sale is NT but could buy when I last looked. They traded through last lock down as part of chemicals sector and many employees could wfh so I don’t think it’s COVID. Also we usually hold up during turbulent markets.
Setcar revs should be financing the business by now + a big cash injection from masks. Would also expect asphalts to benefit soon from government infrastructure spend.
Gosh there are so many shots on goal; come on GC get the PR rolling!
Trek
Sorry , 72p...
