Down again, be testing low 70’s again at this rate. Becoming a dog.
It’s a fair point. I often think that something is missing due to all these tests but then no way would Iterchima run with it unless the data held up.
Sometimes if something is too good to be true you just gotta trial it yourself like kent CC.
You can’t suddenly declare that you intend to spend millions of tax payers money on ‘unproven’ tech in uk climate on uk heavy traffic roads. But once one has done the DD and costed it then others will piggy back the trial results on the economics. That will be the same in the USA.
We are hopefully at the start of a hockey stick sales curve!
Trek
Pointless , the results are now well publicised, and if any more needs to be learned , the new bridge in Italy will supply all the answers. IMHO of course.
US trials planned for later this year

Taken from N+1 Singer note last week...
"Management believed this is one of the Group's most exciting product developments to date, with the product expected to generate a substantial number of orders across the globe and be significantly profitable in the near term"
"Directa Plus is speaking to several potential customers around the globe and contract negotiations are at various stages, bu today's announcement is expected to lead to a significant number of commercial orders. Directa's mask retail for c.EUR35/unit for B2C and for c.EUR10-EUR15/unit for B2B (volume depending and starting from a minimum order of 1,000 units). replacement filters retail for c.EUR0.5/unit. Given the ability to reuse the mask, it is cost effective for customers. Management estimate that the daily cost of it's masks for B2B customers is c.EUR0.13-EUR0.10/day. Versus a disposable surgical mask(c.EUR0.5/unit), the daily cost saving of a G+ Co-mask with filter is at least 74%"
Plus the extra Viral, antibacterial, heat dispersion, environment, etc benefits
just one order then £1.30
Happy to see it ticking up. Seems to be clearing the churn nicely now and will probably head to £1+ as long as market holds up
l am surprised the japs haven't ask to use our boom to clean up that oil ,
Wow more trades more posts! The sentimentometer here is changing!
Been ages since we had a whole page of trades for the same date!

Once this information is out there and being understood can see a serious re-rate to the SP.Was mentioned by the Daily Mail on Friday.Covid 19 spread has been monitored in the sewage for a while now so any filtration enhancements that kill it and the air-borne virus surely will be huge commercially. The peer review of the hospital and University work will make people sit up.
Thanks for posting.
One thing not explained in the RNS, which GC mentions in the video, is that the mask isn't just filtering the Virus, it actually, quote "KILLS IT, by attacking the external membrane of the virus and this will be really properly be explained by the scientists, not by me"

The real concern of aerosol spread from people who feel normal @latimes #covidspread. Six feet is not enough in a close space. It’s in the air for hours.
Please mask up. Happy 4th #MaskUp
I wonder what the richest doctor in the world, our 28% holder, who is busy fighting CV19 with vaccine research will think of this? ;-)
The commercialisation discussions for their fabric will not just be about Masks. It will be all PPE, plus clothing, furniture, curtains...which have also been mentioned by the company. The comment CG made was, you don't want to have to wash your jacket after you've been out after someone has breathed on it.
Then you have IMO the most impressive qualities that G+ provides, the Thermal Plannar circuit, where the same item of clothing keeps you cooler in summer and warmer in winter. trust me, having worn it regularly, it's great! Plus no smelly armpits, due to anti bacterial properties, so doesn't need to be washed as much(environmental saving) :-)
Everyone will want these, worldwide !!
They say that wearing a mask mainly protects other people, but now with this tech, they will protect you as well.
This part has to be such a selling point for prospective commercial partners.
Think they'll be beating down the door myself.
". A scientific paper containing the full details of the trial and the results is underway and is expected to be published shortly. "
Enjoy Your round!
The news we were hoping for, which was previously hinted by the company, was the actual testing of the fabric using the actual Covid-19 virus. Graphene has antiviral properties, so claims by others can be made, but using the actual virus. Also speechless!
Itsyou,
Congrats in order matey! I am lost for words!
The market will soon wake up to how G+ can be added to all fabrics. That with SYM covering plastics will hopefully kick off a new revolution in product design. Not even mentioning all the other DCTA verticals! Graphene has arrived!
Amazing news!
Off for a round now. Enjoy the day folks!

First, reposting my post from back in June, with his paper titled "Can graphene take part in the fight against COVID-19?"
"In this you tube presentation from yesterday, Directa mention they are collaborating with Massimiliano Papi, when talking about testing their masks for anti viral properties.
He's got quite a few other Graphene publications, here's the Covid one
"The pneumonia outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) represents a global issue. The bidimensional material graphene has captured much attention due to promising antimicrobial applications and has also demonstrated antiviral efficacy. In response to this global outbreak, we summarized the current state of knowledge of graphene and virus interaction as well as possible successful applications to fight COVID-19. Antibody-conjugated graphene sheets can rapidly detect targeted virus proteins and can be useful for large population screening, but also for the development of environmental sensors and filters, given the low cost of graphene materials. The functionalized graphene has demonstrated a good viral capture capacity that, combined with heat or light-mediated inactivation, could be used as a disinfectant. Graphene sensors arrays can be implemented on standard utility textiles and drug efficacy screening. Thanks to its high versatility, we foresee that graphene may have a leading role in the fight against COVID-19."

Co-Mask Anti-Viral (COVID-19) Properties Confirmed
Directa Plus plc
("Directa Plus" or the "Company")
Strong Anti-Viral (COVID-19) Properties Confirmed for Co-Mask™
Directa Plus (AIM: DCTA), a leading producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelets based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, announces that its G+® graphene enhanced facemask, Co-mask™, has been confirmed as having strong anti-viral properties by a team at the Department of Neuroscience, Catholic University of Rome, operating in conjunction with the Gemelli Hospital in Rome.
The team, under Professor Massimiliano Papi, tested G+® enhanced fabrics with SARS-CoV-2, the strain of coronavirus that causes the respiratory illness responsible for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The preliminary results show that the G+® graphene can improve textile properties and significantly reduce the measured incidence of SARS-CoV-2 when the virus is deposited or filtered through functionalised cotton or a non-woven fabric (polyurethane). A scientific paper containing the full details of the trial and the results is underway and is expected to be published shortly.
The Company's Co-mask™ range of G+® enhanced masks is designed to be suitable for use by commuters, in the workplace, and for sport and exercise. The masks offer an optimum balance between breathability and filtration efficiency and thanks to the use of G+® are a natural and environmentally sustainable solution. The masks are washable at least 50 times, providing material cost benefits and, in addition to being strongly anti-bacterial, they have now been confirmed as having anti-SARS-CoV-2 properties. The Company's range was launched in June and is available for retail sale at a dedicated website: https://graphene-plus.com/
Commenting, Giulio Cesareo, Founder and CEO of Directa Plus, said: "I would like to congratulate Professor Papi and his team on the first research project to test G+® graphene enhanced fabrics for their anti-viral qualities and, importantly, their ability to significantly reduce occurrence of SARS-CoV-2. I am also pleased that the team has verified the anti-bacterial properties of graphene enhanced fabrics, which are essential for the prolonged use of masks.
"These preliminary results confirm that the application of our technology can significantly enhance facemask efficacy and can help to reduce the spreading of SARS-CoV-2. Our G+® graphene solutions are non-toxic and environmentally sustainable, overcoming the health and other problems associated with current ion-metal or halogen treatments. The Company is now in early stage discussions with possible commercial partners for this application."

Hey Trek,
Was just saying the same to the Mrs. Why wouldn't everyone want this is everything we use daily?
I've had leather car seats/furniture in the past, but was always sweaty in summer and cold in winter; using the Thermal Plannar circuit heat dispersion technology will assist here. Then we have the antibacterial, antiviral properties. Potential to charge our phone by just being on the leather? Won't wear out as quick and finally won't fade in the sun.
" It is anticipated that G+(R) enhanced leather will provide antimicrobial and antiviral properties, improved thermal regulation, electrical conductivity, and mechanical properties such as as abrasion resistance and UV resilience."
