Yes this is fantastic news!
Market makers caught napping !!
Must do. Time difference problems ?
Surely this warrants an RNS?
Good news! hopefully this will be reflected in the SP.
The National Strategic Public Company of Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB) informs the public that, within Phase II, of the international call for “Expressions of interest on the development of projects and technology for the use of evaporite resources”, 21 proponents and 22 project proposals at a conceptual level are enabled for the next phase.

The name Clontarf comes from Clontarf (Irish: Cluain Tarbh, meaning "meadow of the bull"), a wealthy suburb in the north-east of Dublin, Ireland, reflecting the origins of the founder of the Christian Brothers, Edmund Ignatius Rice, as well as many of the early Christian brothers. Maybe we can all, move here in a few months
Oh Pauly oh Pauly oh Pauly .i can take being unwise because look in the mirror and check out the value of your clon investment.
Then after youve done that try to smile because being miserable and bitter is eating away at you a mouthful at a time.
Oh Chitta oh Chitta oh Chitta . When time and experience often make people wiser it appears the opposite is true with you.
You obviously don’t know what is happening in Iraq and like a child are dreaming only of a very unlikely best case scenario. It currently does not look good for PET in Iraq. They were NOT awarded the main field we thought they would and so far the BOD and DH have refused to answer Any emails about whether they did actually submit a bid or not.
It really is not looking good but we will find out over the next few days as there maybe possibly could be a small IV arrangement with one of the winners or we may be given a leftover scrap
Please grow up into a man. Ghana is hugely unlikely, Iraq currently doesn’t look good and as for
Clon that is a maybe in terms of lithium
I would be happy just for one of these to work and you are harping on about all 3
Pet waiting on iraq .clon waiting on Bolivia...ironic if ghana rolled out.🤣

Interesting headline
I was going to post an article yesterday, but it's behind a 'pay wall'.
https://latinfinance.com/daily-brief/2024/05/07/bolivia-seeks-foreign-investment-in-lithium/
1. Uranium One Group JSC (Russia):
o Uranium One Group, a Russian company, is one of the newly authorized entities.
o They will operate in two minor salt flats located in Bolivia’s southern Altiplano: Pastos Grandes and Coipasa.
o The goal is for their plant to produce 25,000 tons/year of battery-grade lithium carbonate.
2. Citic Guoan (China):
o Citic Guoan, a Chinese company, is the other authorized participant.
o They will work in the northern area of the Uyuni salt flat, which happens to be the largest salt flat in Bolivia.
o Their target is also to produce 25,000 tons/year of battery-grade lithium carbonate.
3. CBC Consortium (China):
o The Chinese consortium CBC, consisting of CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd.), BRUNP (CATL’s recycling subsidiary), and CMOC (China Molybdenum Co., Ltd.), was previously selected.
o They will invest a substantial $1.4 billion in the exploitation of lithium.
o Their focus is on developing sustainable methods for lithium extraction.
4. Overall Objective:
o The combined efforts of these three companies aim to make Bolivia the main supplier of battery-grade lithium carbonate in South America by 2025.
o This ambitious goal surpasses current lithium producers in the region, including Chile (producing 40,000 tons/year) and Argentina (exporting 6,000 tons/year).
5. Direct Extraction Technology:
o These companies are part of a group that was shortlisted for their ability to operate the experimental “direct extraction” technology.
o Unlike conventional brine evaporation methods, this technology does not use evaporation pools.
o However, some experts remain skeptical about its productivity and environmental impact due to uncertainties regarding water usage.

Bolivia's YLB selects 23 groups for next stage of lithium tender
Twenty-three companies were authorized by Bolivian state company YLB to continue in the second phase of the international bidding process for the development of pilot projects for the production of lithium and other minerals in seven of the country’s 28 salt flats.
YLB seeks to develop an industrial chain for lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, fertilizers, borates and sulfates found in the salt flats.
The 23 companies signed agreements for the exchange of technical information with YLB, the company said on social media.
In this phase of the process, which lasts until May 9, the qualified companies must prepare their project proposals at a conceptual level and will be able to carry out inspections in the salt flats.
According to YLB, China Machinery Corporation will submit proposals for two projects.
In total, 38 firms expressed interest in the process that began in January, of which YLB selected 25 last month, but two companies did not sign the respective agreements for the exchange of information and so were excluded from the process.
Among other companies that continue in the process are China’s CBC Group, Argentina’s Tecpetrol and Russia’s Uranium Group.
MONITORING OF SALT FLATS
YLB, meanwhile, is monitoring 178 production wells in the Uyuni and Pastos Grandes salt flats, in Potosí, and Coipasa in Oruro.
In the Uyuni salt flat, monthly monitoring of 88 wells is carried out, 70 in Coipasa and 20 in Pastos Grandes.
The hydrocarbons and energy ministry said in a statement that monitoring seeks to determine the variability of concentrations and levels of aquifers since the industrialization of lithium must go hand in hand with the responsible use of water and care for the environment.
“It has been demonstrated that it is possible to carry out strategies for the extraction, production and transformation of lithium without irreversibly affecting water reservoirs and the ecosystem,” the ministry said.

Naive? You referring to me?
If so you are wrong my friend.
This news is welcome is it not as it demonstrates that Next Chem are now aiming to correct matters if indeed anything does need correcting and will install a new firm of Auditors.
All good as far as I'm concerned, much much better now than in the middle of some financial package deal being assessed by financiers ahead of money being doled out?
Not nieve at all, reality is the word you are looking for.
Mr T
A naive post. We should be worried as after phase 2 will involve detailed financial scrutiny. This is not good and will instill a lack of confidence .
Here
More dodgy Auditors!!
They're everywhere. They would be wouldn't they as they are worldwide firms!!°
I was an auditor on a much smaller scale, I can tell you there isn't anything you can't do with figures, manipulation etc it's easy?
Why do you think all these big organisations suddenly go bust!!!
Anyway nothing for us to be concerned with.
Mr T
Yes its the audit firm not Next chemX
It's the audit firm that is the issue.
I think the phrase “Holy F * * k!” would be appropriate :

Am I concerned about my investment in. CLON based on their agreement with Next Chem-X?
Yes.

Lithium Triangle forum concludes in Bolivia
La Paz, May 9 (Prensa Latina) Delegations from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Mexico will conclude today in Potosí a workshop to exchange knowledge and experiences on research and technology in the lithium industry.
May 9, 2024 | 10:30
Karla Calderón, president of Yacimientos de Litio Boliviano (YLB), stated that the event takes place at the Research Center for Science and Technology of Materials and Evaporitic Resources of Bolivia, located in the community of La Palca, municipality of Yocalla, department of Potosí.
“We have delegations from Argentina, Chile and Mexico, we are also accompanied by CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean) and German cooperation (…),” reported the owner.
He described that the objective is the exchange of experiences regarding the lithium and evaporites issue chain, to work towards the future between sister countries, jointly, in the development of lithium.
In addition to the workshop, the delegations visit the research center and the pilot plants for cathode materials and batteries, where Bolivian YLB professionals share their experiences and knowledge in the development of active materials, lithium cells and batteries.
“Visitors have been impressed by the technological level we have in the research center. We have been able to show the capacity of our professionals, the entire explanation of what we do and the equipment we have, many of which are unique at the Bolivian level, some at the South American level,” added Calderón.
He commented that this meeting is part of the permanent forum for technical dialogue on innovation, technological development and value addition to lithium, it was reported.
Such exchanges have been promoted since 2021 by the governments of Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and, more recently, Mexico, in coordination with the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC).
In this context, four other workshops have already been developed to exchange experiences and knowledge with field visits to laboratories, plants and salt flats in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
