Hasiba,
Yes, I agree the technology works, but has only been proven in the laboratory. To create an efficient continuous industrial process is another challenge in itself. That's the point I was making; nobody will use it if the cost of the lithium is significantly more than traditional methods. From what I've seen environmental concerns seem to be ignored where money is concerned!
All the best.
Flatliner could you please do as your name suggests and go into cardiac arrest? There's a good girl 👧
Well, some people believe a pen is mightier than a sword.
Or have I misunderstood your question Franky?
What a pen*s
CLON (DH) wouldn’t have sought approval by YLB unless he has confidence in the technology of Clon and already discussed the back up by JV and European Commission backing and recommendations…
From the recent RNS…” At the suggestion of the European Commission, Clontarf has now broadened its "Team Europe" partnership to include financing and offtake partners representing key OEM manufacturers in the German Mittelstand. Endorsement from one of the world's leading groups of high tech, battery-quality Lithium offtakers is heartening.
The Company further acknowledges the European Commission's leadership and strong support for the European companies involved, including initiating high-level negotiations over infrastructure financing, and issuing a Letter of Comfort for the qualified European companies, which may prove critical in overcoming any remaining financial challenges. Clean, Green Lithium from brines may be classified as a strategic project under the EU's Critical Resource Minerals Act”
SP is in a vacuum and market is waiting for confirmation of the above .
It’s time to make up your mind!
I don’t believe DH would go to such lengths to achieve phase 3 without being already obtaining firm plans and backup.
34 million buy just now? Nice.
Next placing price ?
I am thinking maybe June at 0.033. Has to be lower to attract new investors,
Thanks to all who answered my queries.
In my opinion, a successful demonstration of the pilot plant within the prescribed time frame is the key success factor to this entire project. Get this right and I don't think any amount of funding will be a problem.
Perhaps this is why the share price has not 'taken off' yet.
For all our sakes, let's hope it works.
Good luck to all.
First thing JV getting announced or letter of comfort then sp should be building on the progress
For me Clon is a good bet at this juncture..and I am more confident after the recent what I see as a great RNS.
GL holders
Maybe some meetings taking place today and hopefully a better sp later..
I draw my conclusions on whats going on from news and RNSs and whats been going on over the last 15 yrs, like everyone else im suprised we are so low, however it will come, like Mr T says we should be at least .1, their are a lot of nervouse traders about and rightly so, but I do feel alot of investors dont really understand whats going on here and the potential this has and some probably don't really care they just want their 10%.
Fair enough eagleeye though please ensure you are no too trusting of DH’s reassuring emails to you. I am assuming that is what makes you so confidence. He has fooled and deceived many of us and made us feel special before he dumped us and is now not even replying to emails.
I hear you Mr T and yes I really expected this to rocket to 0.15 very quickly in this news.
We forget that for so long the so stood at 0.50 then seemed to stay for a while at 0.20. I didn’t think it would be possible to drop to as low as it did and still is but I guess after so much failure it’s probably a truer picture.
Yes it does surprise me that the so is what it is after phase 2 and to be honest I think the so would only jump IF we are awarded the actual contract in August.
Pauly
Agreed, but if you think back to Sassanoff the sp took off over a number of weeks in anticipation of the outcome.
Here the sp is a damp squib, almost no reaction to the so called dramatic news, still sitting near all time lows?
I agree the company has a record of disappointing everyone ultimately which may have a bearing on the disinterested view of the market!!
Still if such a great prospect as many and the company appear to promote, why no market reaction?
I would have expected this to have risen daily this week and be somewhere approaching .10 still valuing us at piddly amounts in view of the vast potential here? A higher MC would undoubtedly add to our financial credentials.
Something doesn't sit right to me, but as I said earlier we will find out soon enough.
I suppose the mantra has to be hold or add and cross everything hoping for once DH will deliver?
Mr T
Pauly, You have to read between the lines a bit here, no one wants to appear over confident.
Trust me they are pretty confident.
Yes, by end of next week 'Friday' CLON should lodge the documents. By end of the week after we will get the result back.
It is EU bid rather than CLON, so plenty of support I guess.
Doesn't all this have to be completed within the next 10 days?
'Next Chem X states financial and Pilot Testing.
'Phase 3 of the process will include confirmation of the Clontarf/NEXT-ChemX JV partnership's financial capacity as well as demonstration of NEXT-ChemX’s pilot plant that is being built in India
Great find Eagle Eyes, this is absolutely crucial and a game changer for CLON. Feeling very confident as a result!
@Pauly80
I'm not sure it's a lack of confidence, I think he was in a bit of a 'rush' writing the news release, factually it's inaccurate.
It was put together in haste. The pilot is Phase 4, not part of Phase 3.
Mr T, if you have read my previous posts the answer is clear to your question. The company has no history of success. Despite being around for over two decades little has been achieved. The market has low confidence.
Even note the quote by the director of nextchem - he does not appear awfully confident
This is not a deramp as I am heavily invested and desperate for this to succeed. However I am not that confident especially based on the recent disaster and PETREL where DH has been a disaster. He now refuses to answer calls and reply to emails which is very worrying
Https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/eu-call-mineral-projects-eyes-joint-purchases-2024-05-15/
BRUSSELS, May 15 (Reuters) - The European Commission will launch calls within days for projects to improve EU supply of critical minerals and hopes soon to begin joint EU purchases along the lines of its existing scheme for gas, a senior commissioner said on Wednesday.
The EU Critical Raw Materials Act is designed to guarantee a supply of lithium, copper and other minerals crucial for the EU's green and digital transitions, to enable the bloc to produce its own electric vehicles or wind turbines and to reduce dependence on China. It enters force on May 23.
" The extraction process is continuous, proven and can be used for a range of metal ions and radioactive ions."
NEXT-ChemX Corporation is an innovative technology company preparing to introduce its proprietary, patented novel Membrane-Based Ion Extraction Technology, known as iTDE technology (ion Targeting Direct Extraction) that has been proven to extract very low concentrations of certain ions from liquid solutions, while reducing the harmful impact to the environment using current processes. Our system uses a unique hollow fiber technology to extract lithium directly from brines, leach solutions, or recycled battery solutions. The extraction process is continuous, proven and can be used for a range of metal ions and radioactive ions.
