sherbert dips?
Been lurking and reading for a while, just started posting. Ive been adding CCH to my portfolio this year and I think its a great stock with plenty of potential. Will be really interested to see how the Costa range does in developing markets. Will be taking advantage of any dips to build my position here. Full year results on the 11/02/2020.
DYOR / This is not advice, just the opinion of a rando on the internet.
I'm also Boohoo and CCH shareholder. Chalk and cheese those 2 shares!
I think this is a great share. As a strategic partner of Coca Cola it's very secure and even though it's considered very defensive, it does offer good growth prospects. Although I would like to see a higher dividend.
Assuming the Covid vaccine(s) is successfully rolled out over the next 6 months and cafes and bars fully reopen, I see no reason why this won't hit £28 by this time next year. It's certainly not a share i have to check on every 5 mins like Boohoo!
As a Boohoo holder, that playground is a 180 posts a day..... i see nor hear nothing on here? is this really the middle aged share, bumbles up and down - made a reasonable grow from 20.67 - 23 then sold off but bought back in at 21.70 today as see this as a stable divi generator in a world of fast fashion madness. Any views on SP and what is holding this down other than FTSE as trading performance will be positive as last qtr saw a recovery from lockdown alongside significant cost savings. expecting good margin growth and a decent dividend although will be intriguing to see if they match last years.
Trading update awaited
Coca-Cola has launched an alcoholic version of the drink. The firm will introduce Top Chico Hard Seltzer to the UK from next month and we can't wait for it!

The Board of Directors of CCEP:
has made a non-binding offer to acquire 69.2% of the entire existing issued share capital of CCL, which is held by shareholders other than The Coca-Cola Company (“Independent Shareholders”), to be effected by means of a scheme of arrangement; and
has entered into a non-binding heads of terms and cooperation letter with The Coca-Cola Company (KO), setting out the terms on which CCEP proposes to acquire KO’s 30.8% interest in CCL, conditional upon Australian regulatory approvals and the implementation of the scheme of arrangement
I realise the market is generally very bad at the moment, but why is coke down so much more than the average drop? Has there been any negative news?
Got back in yest at 1968. A nice bit of momentum this morning.
I'll be back in...
Yeah, same feeling, it's been stopping me out several times with its own mind
Price seems to defy the general market every day. It's like it has a life of its own. Good news -> SP down, FTSE down -> SP up, FTSE up -> SP down.
Anyone know why SP is going down this morning when FTSE is up?
News was well received and seems out of home wasn’t a concern for the market so well done to all holders, a nice rise yesterday.
My presumption is people who think tomorrows results will show a weak "out of home" sales getting out, and those who think it'll be better than expected getting in.
That's what it boils down to for me tomorrow.
Its a punt either way for me, as such I was out above £21. Will be back in if we see 18.50 again.
any ideas as to why the share price is yo-yoing the last couple of days?
What are people’s thoughts?
Today is the last day to buy CCH with cum div. I was expecting the SP will go up, instead it went down. It is difficult to predict the stock market. Tomorrow the SP will open 63p lower than whatever the closing price will be today. Lets see what happens.
Looking for safer stocks during this turbulent time? They seem cheap and a dividend is due this week? Any advice?
I have spotted that a large number of shares were sold after the market closed. One sale consisted of 4 million pounds worth, another two consisted of 2 million pounds worth each and a number of others worth hundreds of thousands. Any idea why so much was being sold off? We are a week or two away from the ex-div date and I regard Coca-cola HBC as a good buy at its current price so I am a little confused.
Ex divi date 02/07/20
Payment date 28/07/20
Dividends only once a year please correct me if I'm wrong
Agreed I was in at 1860, and if it drops below 20 I'll likely top up again.
Bought at 2025p. Aim to hold it for a long term. I expect it may go down a bit further if the Cov-19 2nd wave kicks in. Anyway, the SP is so below the average of the last 4 years. I would say it is a small bargain if you intend to hold it after the Cov-19 crisis.
To infinity and beyond ? thank you for your kind email
So you bought this share without any meaningful research because it would have been hard to miss the dividend history. Well done!
I hope you lot can see what is wrong with the market and where this massive distortion will lead us.

Recently purchased this share and not sure how many dividends it pays a year ? Can anyone help ? Many thanks
