The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Jet 2 the latest in a long line that are well ahead of previous year, all positive vs same point last year for the summer season. I'm trying to work out what Qube see that no one else can? with competitors struggling with the various impacts on their fleets, EZJ is looking pretty good.
Blimey, try not to comment and having now logged in will filter out the same messaging. Points made, move on. Actually wasnt that long ago there was a threat/ promise of no more comment as it's all conjecture and guesswork on everyones side. Put the mine into administration, the banks control it and the administrators are then seeking the best return so it becomes a bidding war with the key stakeholders the banks who get the cash. It wipes out all shareholders and also wipes out the off take agreements that were in place. Risky Strategy. Who knows how big the gap is and how its going to be filled. no one on this board. The asset remains and the appointment of shareholder execs to support this shows how serious they are about retaining some form of control here rather than throwing the proverbial chips in and walking away. Good Luck - will find out soon enough. My only learning here and in any AIM share is ensure you have a stop loss and never try and catch a falling knife.
Good luck trying to second guess what's next. I read that the Mgt changes and a key shareholder implant are key to protecting the asset and ensuring that the mine is built. This sounds like the best route for all but who knows how that plays out. Those going on about nickel cost at this point are simply missing the point. Stand back and watch as assume this will move quickly now changes have been made.
Contrarian - 87 posts in the last 30 days. For a non holder i get it, you warned us all. time to filter that one.
lots of new traders on here. lots of PI's hurting, i for one saw this as a great asset and heavily invested, it's now a case of holding and waiting for the next steps.
Admin doesnt suit anyone so don't see that as a realistic next step. Put it into administration and all holders effectively wiped out and debt / banks first to get any scraps. Salvage this, the board are taking the shareholders around the site to work a way to manage this so lets see what the outcome is.
hindsight is a beautiful thing and if we were all as astute as some we'd be rich. GLA holders, move on the spectators....
I've never understood the trolls on a board like this? Look at the ownership - relatively tiny PI base vs major shareholders. Why someone constantly points out the negatives i dont get- do people really get paid to do this sh*t! there is a similar one on the EZY board. Make your point, buy or sell but dont go on about it. i find the filter button most appropriate. I'm invested here and that's my call, my cash. do your research and make your decision but for gods sake stop the de ramping. this has always been a sensible board with facts, figures, macro considerations....
Ah well, taken the stupid drop as a hint to sell off some duff stocks - actually there was a long list of choice and add some more here. whole market is in a fug so this has the best bounce and longer term so switch off and do something less boring instead.
What did i miss in the RNS that was a 5% plus warning shot?! my stop losses just pinged at 1.45
MM's taking out L2 or the drop yesterday a slip of todays numbers - at a cursory non CFO glance at the results i didnt read any new news?
And more within a week....
So we will participate in the funding round. You can't make this stuff up. "on the inside" means on the payroll. Keep going fellas the value we can unlock here is enormous....not.
This and ECR are my two portfolio dogs as i was learning the principles of ramping and stop losses!!!
i have shares left in my isa for amusement factors only, anyone who thinks this cant get worse is an eternal optimist
Filter button works well. Trust pilot reviews, if ever there was a more apt name for a website. The useless August weather always bodes well along with the train strikes for our friendly airlines to drive volume and value. They have taken swathes of landing slots at key airports and have to deliver passenger volume to maintain the deals they have with the airports - deliver the passengers that the airports can commercialise and the fees/ costs remain low. Therefore Airlines are incentivised heavily to offer great deals as we come out of the peak travel season. Yes there is a cost of living challenge, inflation is horrific but the last 15 years post 2008 recession showed leisure travel ( and centre bloody parks) were pretty bullet proof. Bumper profits this year. lots of capacity next year. SP re rate
Great to see this bounce. Cleared the sellers, huge volume and see this bouncing materially from here! Will move quick and likely on some news......
Forward guidance is always tricky - would have been useful to give some guidance on winter sun vs last year as this for me gives a greater steer to the health of the sector and the consumers view / free cash. The summer hol will be protected for now - its the discretionary breaks that i want to understand the booking performance. Agree that TUI looks lame in comparison but dont underestimate EZJ holidays taking share. have great bases.
