What a joy it would be to tour some of Europe’s greatest sights this summer. Many Britons will settle for a seaside staycation instead of braving the new quarantine – and, if other travellers do the same, the likes of Rome’s Colosseum and the Acropolis overlooking Athens will be less trafficked than usual, thronged with fewer tourists toting selfie sticks and slurping from bucket-sized Cokes with ice.
But chances are these destinations will not be empty. Many European countries are scrambling to reopen and lure the cautious tourist dollar.
From June 15 Greece is welcoming visitors from 29 countries (although not Britain), while Italian cinemas and theatres will be allowed to reopen following restaurant and bar re-openings in a country that not so long ago was the European centre of Covid-19....

I missed the buying oportunity
Solid company indeed. KO is struggling at the moment the SP doesn’t reflect the reality, just like almost anything in the US and not that’s the only burden that KOF CCEP CCH have to carry. Enough just look around to see that all emerging markets are hit hard. Especially Brazil and Russian, but if you check the numbers of FMX you could feel the pain in Mexico too. Even if the Balkans or our more established markets like Italy, Spain and Greece are ready for the summer. I could not see many will travel to drive those numbers up. I think in the knowledge of the 2nd wave even if it’s not coming and the uncertainty of the future of the Hospitality sector draws pretty dark clouds. Only we can do is to sit, wait and see lower SPs.
Best Wishes

I forget to mention that dividend 63 cent in sitting in the wings. Ex-div 2 July 20, pay day end of July.
From whatever angel you look at CCH, it is a solid company. In the last week or so, weakness in the share price has creeped in. IMHO it is a buying opportunity.
Solid company by the way, I like it too, but not a growing stock, especially CCEP looks very grim

If did you price the upcoming collapse of bars/restaurants and recession, what is your target for the SP?

Welcome aboard. Looks like it was a good time to jump in this morning. I think this is a safe reliable stock. The last set of results were solid and once pubs, bars and restaurants start to re-open, we should see a nice bounce.
Hi, I chose now as I'm loading up monthly for a for a long term hold. I can see it spiking around, but if I buy over those spikes I can see a stable average forming.
But aside from that I think they are a solid company who constantly find ways to innovate and will no doubt find away during and post covid to be a success. Also at these prices I see growth and income investors both finding them to be attractive.
The Warren factor helps too, even the airlines he got into them late and begrudgingly, and now is fully out. When asked when best time to sell Coca Cola was, he replied, I dont know Ive never sold them.
I would never buy an airline stock, end of story.. 1 crash / accident and the price plummets.. whats the worst thing that can happen to Coke - what is happening just now.. so buy on the lows..
I expected some explanation behind the buy. You know, enthusiasm :)

Last year articles also says Warren Buffet holds share in all major US airlines too. Would you buy in any :)
Gl
Its best to do your own research, Warren Buffet holds shares in Coke, here is an article https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/article/sweet-returns-three-ways-to-invest-in-coca-cola
Could you explain to me why now is the good time to jump in? Would not be better to see the next earnings or you planning to add more after the release? Maybe I will jump in too after your explanation :)
GL
Jumped in this morning, wish I hadn’t hesitated last week.
Hey hoe, give it a week or two and a few pennies on my entry will hopefully be a mute point.

I would wait on Unilever until it was around 38, I don't see as much upside as with CCH and DRX..
I normally read IC, Director Buys, Shares Magazine, This is Money - Broker Views.. before selecting stocks.. from this screening.. it make you sleep easier at night when there is an overall market drop. Fundamentally you know you have invested in solid companies that will be around in 10 years.. top up on the lows and hold..if CCH was to drop to 15-16 £ per share for example I would be all in..
I had a look at Unilever myself and its clearly a high quality company that has been growing at a nice steady rate over the past 20 years. Its also one of the few stocks that are quite well coronavirus protected. By the time I'd noticed it the price was already 4000+ following the 3583 low in March, so it didn't look that cheap. I might have another look though given the companies track record on steady growth.
Following the overall market, I think CCH, DRX and UVLR are the best stocks to buy at the moment based on my research for long term hold, top up at the right time. The fundamentals of companies go out the window.. sometimes.. with auto computer trades triggering losses, similar to the last big dip they auto buy as well starting a rally.. timing and hindsight are wonderful things. Not holding Unilever at the moment but will when the price is right.. Better having money in shares at the right price as apposed to the banks.. especially solid divi ones.
Doubled my holding @ 17.82. Not sure why this has dropped so much. There recent results weren't too bad.
Great long term share at these levels.. but might wait for further all before topping up..
Back in at 1880 yea
Bought in at £21.90. Adding some more at around £18. Great company, not worried about the future for Coke and its partners.
No retrace yet mmmmm
