S dusty42 says, caml has been a solid divi payer in times a lot leaner than these
Agree, but also a low cost producer who has been able to weather lower metal price enviroments previously and still maintain a good dividend. As of last year also debt free, with a strong balance sheet.. last reported at $60m cash I think. And on the hunt for growth opportunities, on which they may also find better deals in a cooling metals market. Longer term, many expect base metals to do alright.

Copper zinc lead prices falling FIL Limited selling down or out, global world economy slow down, reason I feel been falling, good dividend been backbone but how long will that last,
Well done mate lol
Solid bounce today. We should start climbing back now!
forgot to add... I double up today. Hopefully go up from here.
I don't want to be negative but renewables still make a tiny 2-3% or so of demand and so its really industrial use where it is needed now... but soon in places like China the EV car's are really ramping up in car exhibitions where there are pretty much majority EV.
However metals are needed now and even with new copper supply
margins are still very high, just watch the latest presentation by the CEO. Sure, we could be doing more but the mines would be profitable even with rock bottom commodity prices. And we've got plenty of cash in the bank. Dividend cover is easily 2X too
27.04.23 Copper $8571 tonne(27.04.22 $9935)
Zinc $2609($4314)
Lead $2120($2358)
Still making money, but margins have been slashed, with costs rising fast.
2 x 570k buys. Defo buys as well over mid for the day. payed for £1m each + lots of other large after hours trades today.
I am a buyer as well. Not on that scale though! Lol!
Usual caveats

Copper price is actually up 13% over the last 6 months.
Not sure how that justifies a 50% in the SP.
Excellent balance sheet to boot.
Actually, just added another 10k shares. This it for today :-)
I picked up 30k shares this AM, but will buy a few more if it drops further
i'm 56% cash so your beating me on this one!! i've biggish holding here, dec, some gold and silver plus a few more downers that will come back one day. gla
Great balance sheet to boot.
Director buying at the very least means hopefully no hidden skeletons market is not aware of.
I am ~80% cash, but had to pick up a few of these this AM, as they are just so cheap. Have been in and out of CAML over the years. Solid
The BoD should really be buying back stock at these levels.......
i think the market has gone. there is a tech resurgence, revenues etc but its all last saloon and more bad news to come. i'm out the market per say % wise at the moment and waiting. i think rates will stay higher for longer, inflation will drop but likewise everything else. i think rough time ahead and value shares like caml will once again come to the fore. below £2 becomes really tempting
Must be in the realms of "cheap as chips" at this price on any measure
He's had his pants pulled down if that was yesterday!!
not exactly setting the world on fire, but I guess thats CAML for you
I topped up. It's ridiculously cheap
Yep 24% drop in 1 year, 16% down in 1 month but only 4% down in 6 months!. Makes now the time to buy for the next divi imo.
Usual caveats
