Absolutely flying
Yep it can’t move. i’d suggest the delay means they knew if a vote was cast then it would have been lost so they have gone away to understand and maybe reconsider. they’ll try a cheeky small increase to say they’ve listened but as gold increases so does everyone’s expectation
Its another angle to take shares off the table using the divi payments, manage this over the period so less shares are sold off after the ex divi date? for me any shares taken off the table at this price is worth while. its clear for me the future of gas and oil from US is secured as europe is now off russia and qatar ram up what they can supply against USA.
prices may go up and down, the future doesnt show huge prices based on the vol available so the clear ability to manage costs and leverage price over medium term will be key and more than possible by DEC. it might not set the world on fire but it will be a cash cow for sometime
I bought 50k worth at 935 which is the lowest mark for tender off. we get to see the impact of next set of results, get to know the divi amount, tender offer only and then decide to sell based on extra 5% given or take divi. even if it has a reasonable run in van hopefully make a few % and agree why sell after ex divi when you can wait and hopefully get the extra %s.
You could say this is one of the big positive, changes over the years that now if a share holder wishes to vote they can do it electronically where it used to be in the post or on the day.
voting now is through an electric system, push of a button that means they get counted.
remember is the %voted in the vote not on the register, i.e. so you don't need more than 25% of total shares to vote no you need 25% of votes cast to vote no.
i sense we have positive direction on no and unless the big share holder volumes are very high there is a chance the no gets cast and wins
Assume you own through a broker? depending on which one it’s through them. hargreaves literally setup a button on the system and share to press with decision, some you have to contact direct. if you did have share certs then done direct through shanta
