You could say this is one of the big positive, changes over the years that now if a share holder wishes to vote they can do it electronically where it used to be in the post or on the day.
voting now is through an electric system, push of a button that means they get counted.
remember is the %voted in the vote not on the register, i.e. so you don't need more than 25% of total shares to vote no you need 25% of votes cast to vote no.
i sense we have positive direction on no and unless the big share holder volumes are very high there is a chance the no gets cast and wins
Assume you own through a broker? depending on which one it’s through them. hargreaves literally setup a button on the system and share to press with decision, some you have to contact direct. if you did have share certs then done direct through shanta
Think this might be over leveraged, needs more oil and gas to recover as if it doesn't keep discovering it will eventually run out!
chinese people use 1/5 of the amount of oil that americans consume. indias are atr 1/15th the amount compared to usa and there is over a billion of them.
demand for fossil fuels is going no where and certainly not down. that's 2 billion people wanting more and they will get it so if you invest on an oil and gas as the play i think you'll be fine, demand globally is going one way. sometimes wonder from comments do people really think every ceo is that daft, un-interested or incapable even though they built a business far bigger than 99% of everyone else out there. you make your choice, live with the decision
I guess it’s the risk factor you present against them successfully finding a new deposit and mine? they have sometime, clearly focusing in country alongside probably some other global locations. trying to find something in kaz as got a licence signed. if they find no mine price drops, if they find one goes up!!
Business wise it is what it is. if you invest in a business in a war zone then what is the best we could expect and whatever that is its far less, not as bad as the people living there. have total respect for the business and every one working hard, passed away in this period.
