Interested to see who does Buy shares in Shein. Risky IMO.
DYOR FYI
Wow what a great detailed article. This needs sending to Jeremy Hunt and the LSE CEO…
Momentum is slowly building, some investors with twitchy bums JeremyP. If the press are becoming negative now, shorters will floor it after (if) IPO.
Must be atleast four on this board who will be investing!
How terrible.
Ultimately, choose to work somewhere else.
Shein are not a charity.
Boohoo binned a load of staff off.
Move on
Must be atleast four on this board who will be investing!
"Must be atleast four on this board who will be investing"
He's alot of fun ,but we all know his Boo average is not quite 2 digits however hard he tries to make himself look like the bees knees on here.
Shein removed sustainability reports?!?!....
Shein's Promises of Improvement Contradicted by Interviews with Factory Workers
• Interviews with factory employees reveal that Shein's claims of improvements in working conditions are not reflected in their experiences.
• Workers still endure long hours, often exceeding 75 hours per week, and wages remain low, ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 yuan per month.
• The audit commissioned by Shein, which suggested above-average wages, is criticized for its lack of transparency and omission of key details such as working hours and the lowest wages.
• Shein's sustainability reports have been removed from its website, and the company has become less transparent about its structure, profits, and ownership.
• Founder Xu Yangtian has stepped down from the Roadget Board of Directors, raising questions about the company's leadership and future direction.

One would need to be nuts to buy into this ipo. It will be pumped imo, then the dodgy news stories will surface and .......you can guess the rest. Imo it's not worth touching.
Rumour has it the shein ipo in being underwritten by a group of elite investors headquartered from a bungalow in Cornwall, with all board meetings conducted in vw transporter headed by a nursery school teacher so they can all understand the wording.... Then they will each buy 6 houses with the proceeds and take holidays in the lake district.... Oh and take an annual holiday to tenerife via lanzarote in the camper van.
Will the uk really put the blinkers on to all these problems to allow a listing??... It would surely send a message to the current listed companies that they don't need to bother themselves...
Shein's U.S. IPO bid faces hurdles as NRF rejects its membership
• Chinese fast fashion giant Shein is seeking membership in the National Retail Federation (NRF), the largest U.S. retail trade association, as part of its efforts to go public in the U.S.
• However, Shein's application has been repeatedly rejected due to concerns over its ties to China, supply chain practices, and use of a trade law loophole.
• Shein's membership in the NRF would lend it legitimacy and potentially smooth its path to a U.S. initial public offering.
• The NRF has not provided specific reasons for rejecting Shein's application, but some speculate that ethical concerns and competition may be factors.
• Shein's use of the de minimis provision, which exempts packages under $800 from import duties, has drawn scrutiny from lawmakers and competitors.

Yep,
On full wamp at moment
Despite the trading update and the media put out the sp is not flying, the rerate is not happing
Guess that's what needing multi bags just to break even does.
Oh, and a new boss, Tofu
Oh boasty you are so funny. Thought you were supposed to be off to Haiti by now?
Do you go by submarine, glug glug.
Can you just remind me when it was you first confirmed that £6.50 was incoming here, heard it from you a lot but been waiting so many years now im beginning to doubt your sincerity.
Long day yesterday, all over now and so amazed to check in and see the sp still languishing and still treading water.
Was expecting this to fly upto the moon after such a 'positive' update, and news of Big Michaels latest gamble, but alas nope, just treading water like it has for yonks with no direction or hope of recovery.
Further surprised to not have had confirmation of Lyttles leaving - didnt a certain pair of long time losers assure us that was on the cards unless a stellar update?
Maybe tomorrow
Like a lot of things BOo, maybe.
See the latest 'ramper' topic has moved on to knocking Sheins Ipo.
The levels of desparation evident, so much so that a crattering in Ipo sp being as good as guaranteed by those same clowns that could see the BOO crattering coming and still think ot doesnt matter.
Deflection from the more important point that Shein, regardless of ipo sp, or even listing at all in the west, is still eating BOO's lunch and part of its dessert to.
When will they ever learn.
The wampers keep telling us this company is worth multiples of its current value.
But big Mike has bought approaching 25 % of the shares for something over a 100 mil
Wake up wampers
Talking of supposed rampers, still waiting for your explanation of how someone who posted once in six months can be a ramper daytrade.
Still wasting your life trying to pick arguments with people who think you are a fool
Why bother
They do indeed Sam.
You would think with all that ramper "guaranteed" demand from Big Mike soaking up all availible turkey stock, i must stop calling it that, Lemming stock, is more accurate, then this sp would be in take off mode, vastly exceeding the BOohooRiders wildest predictions and overtaking Musks rocket as it blasts through the stratosphere.
Alas, for us poor holders it isnt, but on bleat the fan boys producing baseless hot air whilst promising more jam than Hartleys.
Daytrade and Sam, not here yesterday but now are. It's funny you said you were going up north and both of you disappeared yesterday.
Why have you bothered??
I saw a squirrel in the garden this morning
Sadly superspam was here yesterday, adding exactly the same amount of value he is today
Still waiting for any of the troll experts to explain exactly what the incremental risks are from Shein's IPO, which they seem really keen to promote
Not surprisingly they would rather just post goading rubbish.
The fool who was stating that "not even BIg Mike was buying any more" only a week or so ago is still embarrassing himself with a stream of effluent.
Life's winner indeed
Lidl your clocks up the swanney.
Do please check the accuracy of your insinuation.
A quick check myself and I believe Sam did post a few times yesterday.
Why have you bothered??
I saw a squirrel in the garden this morning
Do please check the accuracy of your insinuation
Idiots in glass houses daytrade
How can someone who has posted once in six months be a ramper?
They all still prattling on as though Shein is about to vanish albeit have red tape flung all over it.
