Yes, they don't actually need to drill KS to make this economic do they..something for the future.
Night night, sleep tight. x
I meant 2 mins 40 Sooz. Not 2 mins 30.
Definitely bedtime. Night. x
Don’t know why it says “But b” at the end of my last post. Apologies.
Tired boy, so sloping off for the night.
Rest well. x
Sooz. He just says we won’t be expanding the resource for the time being. Around 2 mins 30 left of the interview, counting backwards. Doubtful then for this year, in my view, but it depends on what “for the time being” is. I wouldn’t bank on it being this year, as surely he otherwise would have coupled such info in with the PFS info. Only my thoughts, but I’m trusting the more frequent release of news will give us a better idea of perhaps when. His focus is clearly on KN only (not even South KN, lol), and then submission of the environmental permit. But that sounds great to me.
But b
Hello Eric...He didn't mention drilling KS but it doesn't rule it out because we have to drill it sometime in the near future I think to keep the licence.
Hi. Evening Sooz. Yes, that could be what he meant by derisking, maybe focusing on what we already know are the proven resources. Preserving funds too, where possible.
Thanks Sj...it's a really good presentation.... the in depth work already achieved puts us in a very good position for the environmental permit, the government came back with no criticism of the application, it was so good ; a project for it's time and an ongoing conversation with the market. He also mentioned de-risking it and I think that's where we at the moment with the sp as it is.. perceived risk. Exciting times.
Or something exceptional is afoot, so holding back on drilling KS. Can’t rule anything out. Lol.
Yes, I like it as well.
SJ, I guess the KS drilling can wait, maybe the priority is lower possibly because we didn’t raise as much money as hoped for, but it seems from the interview there that Kurt is determined to deliver value this year and has appropriate strategy to do so. We shall see, but I like this piece from the presentation tile which states about fully defining the Grafintec business model and production plan. Sounds comprehensive, which is what we’ve been going on about for ages. Shareholders being given a proper, detailed plan of action.
Good stuff tonight, thanks for your help, much appreciated.
Sounds like a busy 2023 to me, with plenty of activity and what should be plenty of news. I like it :)
Thanks for posting the links SJ. Very handy. Was just looking at the presentation chart for the 2023 goals on the Beowulf Mining website, not the Jokkmokk Iron site. This is copied off one of the presentation tiles:
Q2 2023 – Kick-off Pre-feasibility study. Focus on value drivers.
. Environmental Permitting.
. Build partnerships in the local community.
. Initiate strategic partner discussions.
Targeting a production start in 2026.
. Complete PFS for Finnish anode materials hub by end of H1 2023.
. Optimise Aitolampi Scoping Study in the context of .
downstream configuration.
. Fully define Grafintec business model and production plan.
Developing anode materials production capability.
. Tremendous exploration success last year has created the opportunity to spin-off Vardar. Options being investigated.
Apologies if people have seen it but it seems it's the presentation prior to the small interview that was RNSd beginning of April.

Hi Eric, it is actually quite exciting and if it comes to fruition then it's bargain basement right now. Good shout on the 'advice' front, quite possible really. They seem keen to articulate the announcements this year, shouldn't be long before it all starts being delivered I reckon. Investors need it, and Kurt is well aware. Get the updates right, and the important value added news coming without any ridiculous delays then momentum can be built and confidence grows and so will the SP. Let's hope luck is on our side for a change.
Great stuff SJ, not seen that one. I picked up on the interviewer mentioning DFS, but he surely meant BFS I think. Unless he’s getting some furniture delivered. Lol.
Kurt is more relaxed in the interview and smartly presented. Doesn’t look like we’ll be drilling KS though, but have to see. I’m looking forward to how he’s going to “articulate” the business value drivers then, but yes, he did say that the team won’t be just completing all the work then telling us shareholders at the very end. Stages of news will hopefully build a bit of upwards momentum. He did mention this only going in one direction, uppy, so wouldn’t that be nice.
I reckon he’s had decent advice on how to roll out the news.
Only my thoughts.
Good find SJ. Yep, Finland PFS is only lightly mentioned but we know the 2026 production target for Kal also applies to the Grafintec project.
It kind of is exciting. Lol.
I'm going to assume no one has watched this from 14th April with only 4 views lol. I know it's the same but he's ambitious, and I like the PFS this year, DFS next construction following year then production no messing. Kurt is open that when the PFS starts there needs to be regular communication as it is a 9-12 month process. Finland is a dark horse.

What’s ten days between friends. Lol.
Hurtling towards May anyway. Going quickly, things must be happening. Hey, soon be summer and the Sami appeal review/outcome/delay/shift a decision to winter 2026, when they’ll still be chunnering on while the mine is in operation. Lol.
Brill.
And, furthermore, there's ten days to go before we've passed into the second third of the year...Ibjj's exaggerating again. What's the point of getting ahead of ourselves...it's Spring and life's in the moment. :-)
Yes, being awarded a new mining concession is almost unheard of. We’ve done extremely well, against the odds really, including dealing with various Governmental changes. Second half of this year should see more news as our progress continues.
To be fair? The Company has been awarded the Concession to Mine (first given in 12 years) and now the process of getting the Environmental Permit completed is underway, two years is what we always expected and it's now only nine months away. After nine long years of waiting, to be fair...we're on our way.
Newsflow could be better Hasty, yes, no doubt, including the content being more specific, and we’ve discussed this. The important thing now though, for the most part anyway, is we know the nature of the news to come and have an idea of when it’s due.
And we can only really sit and wait for it.
To be fair Eric - 8 years and counting he has had to improve. The shutters are now down on the information flow now Kurt has what he wants. Back to scratching around for info again.
Lol. He’s having a duvet year, not just a duvet day.
Hasty, yes, it’s frustrating seeing a terrible sp each day, but to be fair though, we did have a Kallak update on 22 February and then the Unaudited Prelim Results RNS of 28 Feb referred back to this last Kal update (along with other info re Finland etc). So really, it’s just shy of two months re the last meaningful operational update, main project.
There is obviously also news to come before long re the start of the Kal PFS, then mid-year the Finland PFS completion, and from Kosovo, hopefully news of listing Vardar separately, although we have no idea when for news there.
We just have to sit tight, in my opinion.
