Lb, the main presentation was better than usual and I don’t recall him making any empty promises or waffling in that. The interviewer in the other video was very polite, if a little dry-mouthed. It’s not time to determine how the mine will be financed, when we haven’t even yet completed the PFS, DFS or BFS or lodged the environmental application. We know how many jobs the mine needs and will create, both direct and indirect, but there’s no point in recruiting until the mine is being built. Lol. Finally, Kurt did supply additional information, such as a HIA, which he didn’t need to do, but which assisted in gaining the concession. He did whatever it took and lo and behold, they said “Yes”.
Can’t say “No” will say “Yes”.
Yes, he enjoyed the networking it seems, the venue set-up was just right.
Looking forward to news.
Good grief!!!
Same waffle, same empty promises.
And the amateurish, stuttering interviewer did not ask the obvious questions:
How are you going to achieve any of this without a buyer / partner, funding, workforce? Who is paying for the mine construction at Kallak, and the production facility in Finland?
Ironically, it seems the thing Budge is most proud of is the exploitation application, which he had nothing to do with.
Budge is an embarrassment.
Yeah I thought that too Eric especially as presenting to other companies CEOs, financiers etc. Looking forward to this year.
SJ, I thought Kurt was very good in the main presentation. In fact, he seemed comfortable at the venue and I feel it’s reflected in the interviews.
I’m pleased about that for him.
Cheers Eric, at least it has 90 views now as opposed to 4 a couple of days ago lol. Decent nevertheless as we await some proper news :)
Yes Andy, BEM is slow to put out the RNS releases re the presentations. Only a little slow, but I’m pleased they are in an RNS, for those shareholders who receive RNS notification but who may not use the chat boards.
And now I see that it was in a RNS, but us Swedes found this video this weekend (as you can see it's a few days old) :)
The link became a version 10 seconds in, but since this board doesn't allow editing it is what it is :)
Ooh, nice RNS. It’s the Mining Journal Select main presentation and the other one SJ found.
Good.
Hi Sooz. Thanks. Morny. x
Very good find, Eric, thanks for your efforts.
SJ, I stumbled across it somehow. Yes, sounds like he’s switched on now, in terms of the rollout of news. Have to see then eh?
We could all do with some better fortune here for sure. Good week last week though. The sp is slowly creeping in the right direction, and, as you say, we must trust Kurt can deliver better communications on each project. With the PFS work both in Finland and Sweden, there should be much to report.
Then we can look forward to getting our environmental application in. Yay!
Thanks Eric, I'd not seem that. Interesting watch. Like he's gathering the info on how best to pitch the business and also still acknowledging, as you say that there is still a UK investor base albeit alot smaller than Sweden now. Will be an interesting few months or so ahead me thinks in terms of news flow and Comms.
Even with what is approaching 80% of shares held on Spotlight, he’s realised that there is still a hardcore of UK investors.
Sounds like it to me.
Well I thought it was an interesting comment from Kurt anyway.
SJ, I also came across this from Kurt, when he attended the Mining Journal Select conference. Sounds good to me.

SJ, yes, you are right, I never thought we’d see it drop below 2p, so it’s a real relief to see it rally back above. Still obviously have to kick on from here now though.
I was wondering whether Kurt could also use his presentations to highlight again the ANI status for the entire Kallak deposit and stress the fact that we’ve been granted a rarely given concession on the first part of it. You know, to drive home further the importance of the deposit itself in terms of quality, quantity, and therefore the mining of it. So far having the ANI status has been very underplayed. On the face of it anyway. We already know about the jobs the mine would create, but surely receiving an ANI status elevates our project to potentially draw a higher level of interest, so use this more. Remind everyone.
Yeah!
Evening Eric, crazy how we are saying 'nice to be seeing 2p' depressed SP is an understatement. Like you say though, decent trades and good to see on here. Hopefully better days ahead, fingers crossed the bottom has been in. :)
The power of the media. 8 views on the video and then boom! Lol.
Yes, on the quiet, it’s been gradually creeping up over the week hasn’t it. Sooz and I talked about it when we had a little blue day the other day, so it’s nice to now see 2p properly back and I hope we continue to brighter days still. Just had a look at the trades to make sure it wasn’t those weird little ones that we’ve recently been seeing from the mms, but no, some large share amounts popping up for 2.1p. Goody.
That must be it Eric... lol. Nice buys today though. Nice to have a blue day :)
SJ, I’m liking today’s intraday share chart so far. Looks like a rising cobra.
Your video find is obviously attracting the droves.
:-)
Morning SJ. I hope they will spin Vardar off, because we have plenty of promise there but nothing commercial yet. It’s a good prospect perhaps for those companies with more available funds, being a multi-metal project. We have enough to contend with in Scandinavia, in my view. Gaining the Kal concession means we don’t have to go splashing the cash on exploring further in unproven areas. We’ve done much of the groundwork at Kosovo to present a great overview for someone else to take up the reins, is my thinking.
Although if we we can’t spin it off, maybe mothball it until we’ve got revenue coming in from Kal and Finland. When we are on a more certain footing. We can then revisit with less risk to shareholders.
But we’ll probably soon hear that we’re throwing more money at it again. Lol.
No, I’m not sure we will. The priority work is clearly with our proven assets in Finland and Sweden this year.
Interesting to see what occurs with Kosovo.
Yeah exactly Eric, happy with everything that's planned. Getting it done in a timely manner with plenty of communication is the other. Intrigued by the graphite production plan.
9-12 months for PFS for kallak. Sooner we get that started the better. With Vardar, with each passing day not hearing about drilling I'm wondering whether they are working on the spin off?
