I've been catching up on posts of the last few days and I don't understand this one.
How do you see Kallak as "a drop in the ocean" Here's one or two plus points to consider
14 share kilometres of high grade ore, and it's not yet fully explored.
It's the largest unexploited iron ore field in Europe
When operative Kallak will provide 250 direct jobs and 300 more local support jobs for a period of 25 years
A drop in the ocean ? I don't think so
You're not filling in for a certain currently absent downbeat person are you. :o)
the next news should be the formation of a coalition gov't. I think we can all reasonably assume it won't include the Left or Greens - that should be a huge lift to the SP
Daily ramp over.
..
I wouldn’t worry Granite... the only thing that will get this moving is news. However, if I had sold out, you could guarantee that this would fly!
Have been considering re-entering here, however all my cash is in SDX and they got suspended yesterday, so expect this to March North for the next week or so whilst I can't get involved, sods law. Good y'all, hopefully join the procession in not to distant.
Nice to see the mayor actively involved in a JIMAB vid. Can't say Kurt isn't trying.
“The Green Party has held back this important investment” powerful stuff when you consider that it cake from the Mayor.
With you on that one. They don't come any more positive than that.Point of view calmly but firmly put over.Surely they cannot say NO to that.imho.
great video. Starting to look more positive now the Greens have been put back in their cage.
rns....
That’s probably one of the best rns announcements I have ever seen on this share
A current view on where the parties are at in respect of forming a Government
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/20/world/europe/sweden-far-right.html
Good...that'll do for now. :-)
In all seriousness though, this project is a mere drop in the ocean. Granted, there are not that many proposed mines, and 500 jobs is not that significant. But the tax revenues, and wider impact on the local and regional economy is very significant. I for one are very interested, and given the posters on FB, there is also plenty of interest in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and other countries.
Just me and you?
Correction, proposed mine.
Just wonder how many people are actually interested in this mine.
As the application process has been circumvented, politicised and hijacked by local interest groups, it will be very interesting to see how the company ultimately progresses to mining moving forward. On the assumption that BEO are granted the exploitation licence; And there appears to be no sound legal reason that it shouldn't be, and with environmental studies at an advanced stage, given that BEO submitted significantly more environmental data than was legally necessary; Where do we go from here. Investors need clarity on this process immediately after we receive the glorious RNS stating that the exploitation licence has been granted. We will of course know long before we receive the RNS given the leaky ship in Sweden!
PS They're always on holiday and they have a 3% growth rate.
I really, really wish there was a good answer to that. The only thing I can think of is that Sweden is according to statistics one of the happiest places in the world in which to find yourself.
essentially, Yes. Although It’s hard to see how the Sweden Democrats won’t be involved, as they have significant seats in Parliament. If the Social Democrats form a coalition, with an agreement that they will get support on some issues, but not others, from their minority partners; Then at some point, all parties will need support from the Sweden Democrats to push particular bits of legislation through. Essentially when MP’s have a free vote, much the same as the UK Parliament. How can they not? Eitherway... less chat and more action!
Am I right in thinking the Government will be formed by the first coalition that the majority *doesn't* object to? If that's the case the Sweden Democrats could give their passive support to the Alliance and get them to power without any public negotiation. I'm sure they could come to some arrangement behind the scenes. The Left Party did the same for the Social Democrats at the last election as far as I could see. Communists on one side, Fascists on the other, what's the difference?
They'll be back... I guarantee it!
lol I miss him and Lbjj.....
Cheers tintin35, but Christ alive man, will you stop ramping? Busterblooddog or whatever his name is will be back...
