Yes, circa 2010, platform was perfect, and a rising sp was a joy to watch. Now we have the anxiety of not knowing what the hell is happening. Lol. Progress!
Pretend to be nice....but so did you know who. What they are offering is more welfare! How do they propose to pay for it? A huge proportion of Sweden's jobs in the public sector are taken up by immigrants...and the economy is looking pretty good, with 3% growth, better than most in the EU.
Free platforms are increasingly unreliable... Gone are those happy days.
Suzy, whilst I know very little about Swedish Politics/Politicians, I do know how politicians the world over and across the whole spectrum of views behave. The simple driving force is POWER and self preservation and importance. The fact Mr Lovfen currently leads the largest party does not put him in 'the big chair'. His 'mates' will replace him at the drop of a hat if some other member of their party can get the backing of 'suitable' other parties. Indeed, the failures of Lovfen's team in power and their failure to maintain their vote is probably the death nail for him as leader!
Yep, on the mobile version, the desktop view link is at the very bottom of this page. Once there, you have to type in 'BEM' again. But you most likely know all this. Desktop view on the mobile phone is ok. Better than the constant crashing we've been getting on the intended version. Sheesh!
Yes. The full desktop site appears to have fewer issues. You can view the desktop page on your mobile though, as I've had to do with BMR, which doesn't even show now on the mobile platform. Lol. Will try and remember how I did it and post it up.
There will be plenty of horse-trading behind the scenes. Either way, the wait is killing me!
That would be like Morris Dancers dancing with the Devil. Not only that, but then inviting him in for tea and biscuits afterwards. Once in, he won't ever leave. Tis a slippery old Maypole that. Lol. So nah!
I switch between the phone and laptop. It’s frustrating...
Yes Pocko, re LSE failing to load up. All posts are not being displayed and very difficult at times to actually get beyond the server crashing. On the LSE mobile site via iPhone anyway.
I would be absolutely shocked if the Christian Democrats would join an alliance with the Sweden Democrats.
Those are exactly my thoughts, Pocko, the simple fact that Mr Lovfen has 9% more support than any other leader puts him in the best position to negotiate an alliance. but we shall see, very interesting, only a week to go. I think like him best, but I could change my mind. Only a week to go......lol !
"Sweden is headed for a political showdown next week that could culminate in a vote to oust Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and kick off months of tense talks to avoid a snap election.
Lofven is clinging to power after an election in which his bloc won a slimmest possible one-seat lead over the center-right, four-party Alliance bloc. But the rise of the nationalist Sweden Democrats has denied either side a majority, meaning they will either need the anti-immigration party’s backing or accede to minority rule.
So far, the two sides are waiting to see who will blink first. “Everyone is going to take this as far as possible,” said Niklas Bolin, a political scientist at Mid Sweden University. “The Alliance isn’t going to fold until they have at least have tested their chances.”
After a new parliament is established on Sept. 24, the legislature could call a confidence vote on the prime minister as soon as the next day. The speaker will then sound out the different parties on who has the best chance of forming a government and pick a candidate. A new government will then need to pass a vote in parliament. This type of negotiation can happen four times before a new election needs to be held.
Sweden's parties could explore a number of different government options.
Sweden has never gone more than one round in such talks before a government was formed. But the country has also never before faced a more difficult parliamentary situation since all the established parties have refused to work with the Sweden Democrats because of its neo-Nazi roots.
Ulf Kristersson, the leader of the biggest opposition party, the Moderates, has excluded outright government talks with the Sweden Democrats but hasn’t rejected grabbing power should the nationalists back him. While that view is largely shared by the Christian Democrats, his Liberal and Center party Alliance partners have so far signaled that they would be unwilling to form a government that relies on such backing.
Jonas Hinnfors, an associate professor at Gothenburg University, said the strategy of the Sweden Democrats will probably be to try to divide the four-party Alliance. “They want to put pressure on the Alliance and think that a Moderate and Christian Democratic government would be better,” he said.
The first step of the new parliament will be the election of a speaker. Given the situation, that job is now more important than ever and there’s a risk that the usually neutral role could become politicized, according to Hinnfors.
The Social Democrats on Tuesday tried to pressure the Alliance by offering talks on finding a joint candidate on a speaker, while center-right group has said they will seek to present their own pick.
Lofven is seeking to break up the Alliance, which was created 14 years ago to unite the center-right parties and end the long-dominance of the Social Democrats. Under former Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt."
All I can say is, less chat and more action...
Is anyone else finding that this site is failing to load-up on an iphone or tablet? It seems to get worse...
A self-interested politician? I don’t believe it... The press seem to think that the sitting PM will be voted out in any event. I’m no fan of the Sweden Democrats politics, but to disregard them, is to ignore the vote of 19% of the population, and that is a slippery slope. Roll on the 25th...
I always find it so inspiring when a senior politician puts their own ambition and lust for power ahead of their countries needs and well being. With leadership like this there is very little wonder that a significant fraction of the Swedish Electorate is looking towards the extreme. I believe a famous (or should I say infamous) German managed to get control with about 25% of the popular vote before changing the system of course.
Hopefully, the Swedish politicians will start focussing on the best interests of their people. Trees and reindeer are important but must be subservient to the needs of the people.
On Wednesday, the four Alliance parties invited the Social Democrats to join them in talks over a deal across the political centre.
The aim was form a government which did not require the support of the Sweden Democrats, a party which the leaders of Sweden’s other political parties has said they will not negotiate or do deals with .
“The Alliance is offering the Social Democrats the possibility of playing a new, constructive role,” Centre Party leader Annie Lööf told the Dagens Nyheter newspaper after the Alliance leaders’ joint article was published.
Löfven immediately rebuffed the office.
“The Social Democrats are being offered the chance of being a support party for the right-wing bloc,” he said. “That is a thought that should be completely dismissed.”
Sweden's parliament is set to open on September 25th
I know it’s there... that’s not in dispute. And anyone can buy and sell BEO shares through a broker or direct market access, but they are not ‘listed’ on the German Bourse. There were zero buys or sells. It’s dimply given an indicative price in €. That can be the only explanation. And to list on another market would be a strategic move, and RNS worthy. It is of course, only my opinion. And the only thing I truly care about is being granted our exploitation licence.
I agree with Pocko. If we were treble-listed then it was RNS worthy. Hey: https://www.boersen-zeitung.de/index.php?li=80&l=0&m=kurse&isin=GB0033163287
Good reminder that John. What can possibly go wrong from here? Lol. Best wishes matey.
The site that tintin mentioned is the one where I noticed the trading in Germany and brought this up in my post at 16:29.
I didn't make it up, it's there for all to see.
I think you're a bit off track with the idea that Kurt would have to issue an RNS to state where shares are listed. Where the shares are sold is not his affair, they can be listed and sold anywhere the AIM wish without notifying the company or the investors. They are handling the share transactions not Kurt.
Bare in mind that the shares never leave England. they remain in the vault of our trustee company HSBC and are issued as depository reserves to any one in the world who wishes to buy them. Using that format any stock market in the world can list and trade them should they so desire.
The RNS's that Kurt issued were just to tell us punters how many BEM shares are now in Sweden. That is not mandatory. He issued them to let us long suffering punters know how many of our shares are now in Sweden and how much good that would do for our cause.
The first one he posted on that subject was on 2nd of March 2017 telling us that 54.3% 0f BEM shares had migrated to Sweden. That didn't happen in one day, they had been purchased in Sweden for quite a while. Informing the punters where shares are being sold is not mandatory.
If we had listed in Germany, and there is no logical reason as to why we would, an RNS would have been issued.
you can see this here;
Stuttgart as well

Berlin ! A bit strange eh.
However, If BEM is now listed and trading in two other places as well as the AIM I wonder how many shares still remain in England The last update from Kurt stated that 59.63% of the BEM shares were in Sweden.
I wonder how many are now being traded in Germany. Add those shares to the Swedish ones and the AIM held shares must be so so tight that the SP could go up like a rocket when we receive our long awaited permit and lots of people want to buy in.
I don't know if it's my innate optimism but things do seem to be moving in our favour, about flipping time too. I would be extremely happy if I could repeat my bit of luck all those years ago when I bought in at 2p and a week or so later it shot up to 70p. Miracles do sometimes happen (twice ?) :o)
Atb to all BEM punters
Yes you're right Pocko...
