It will interesting to see how quickly they form a government... It’s expected that Stefan Löfven will be voted out if the social democrats form a government. Expect some fireworks on the 25th when Parliament opens.
Suzy might like this one from Lord Alfred Tennyson
Break break break
On thy cold grey stones
And would that my tongue could utter
The thoughts that arise in me
Break break break
At the foot of thy tiny crag
But the tender grace of a day that is dead
Will never come back to me
Very apt we've had 6 years of dead days with very little rock breaking.
Best of luck for next week
I must have watched it at least 5 times :)
What a difference a day makes. :-)
You too Buddy. We've missed you on BMR
It's a decent bb, and yes, Kurt is not only a top notch person, he's also got a proper background in this sector. Boom! You've hit the nail on the head. Good to hear from you.
Yes, wonderful times those. Drillin' an' a provin'. Adding many pennies to the sp. Six months from now and we'll be nearing our sixth birthday party for our totally awesome application submission, so I'm trusting we'll have a partner in place or have sold the project to the State Miner. Certainly not still be waiting to progress because of bureaucratic failings. Roll on a Concession being given this financial year, or the pursuit of a massive compensation claim in front of the whole wide world. Lol. Only an opinion, in my capacity as someone who has become Beowulf incapacitated. Cheers Pocko.
Whilst I am not a regular contributor to this board, I do like the general atmosphere on here. Most seem to get on compared to in some of my dog investments such as PFD, VOG and BMR. I suspect the difference is that this company is run by a very capable and decent chap with the investors generally all behind him, compared with the useless shysters running my dog shares.
I used to calculate how many metres we had drilled per day, and our likely progress in anticipation of each RNS. Do you remember those days? When we were actually an exploration company that ‘explored’! The days when we actually had something to discuss and digest! Happy days... They will return. In 6-months time, I hope that we are discussing a JV, Funding and a planning application. Role on...
Talked it to death and still carrying on Pocko. Lol.
We’ve truly talked this to death... And yes, KB is unlikely to discuss strategy, although today it was quite clearly communicated as to which party were to blame. And yes Suzy2, the nerves are building. Back to work for MP’s on Tuesday... see where we go from there...
I know. Maybe Göran has been cryogenically frozen, along with our lad Arnan and the members of the Swedish Advisory Board. Joking aside, I appreciate Kurt must kept our strategy hidden, hence we won't be privy to anything internal, what Göran and so on are specifically doing, and not much external, for that matter. I temain hopeful that all members of our personnel, in all roles, are fulfilling their duties as well as Kurt is fulfilling his. If so, we have nothing to worry about. Wages being justified etc, and I'm sure Kurt would readily axe any duffers anyway, in his dogged pursuit of ensuring that our Kallak dream becomes a reality. Something like that. Lol.
Robert Bernhardssen is a Social Democrat and he's been gunning for us for a couple of years. Good to hear him apportioning blame right where it belongs. That RNS was an instant pick-me-up, I was beginning to crack yesterday with all the wretched politics. Now, just five days to go, we hope.
Thanks Kurt...we needed that.
It would be good to know what impact the Chairman Göran Färm is having...
This BB is a talking shop... we bounce ideas off each other, post opinion and occasionally let off steam. Posts are ongoing and evolving... we all know the value of this project. And I do firmly believe that we are at the business end. There will be a few more twists... that we can be certain of. But to my mind, it’s a simple yes or no. We’ve fulfilled the criteria... Budge has clearly stated so... it’s game-on!
Whoops, no offence TAKEN
I've got fingers like bananas.
No offence taked.
I don't see posting a few hard and proven facts as comparable to trying to be the Sage of Omaha who is in my opinion the greatest investor in the world but I'll take your comparison as a compliment. ;o)
Like all punters even he is not fireproof. Just before Tesco crashed he bought a massive amount of shares. However, I'm sure he will have found a way to turn that into a profit just as we are all trying to do on this site.
AIM now higher than the Atkie with the bid price in Stockholm at 0.64 and an exchange rate at 11.6 Sek/£. Not normally this way around
Whilst I support and enjoyed the video I thought the message was maybe too soft. I think the recent election has shown that the Swedish people are moving away from their self contented laidback outlook and the cold issues of international economic events are on their doorsteps. The simple point that the Greens have made this mine a political issue and have held back it's development and hence the retention of people in the town should have been reinforced with POLITICAL challengers. Like the Greens supporters who are enjoying their chosen lifestyle in their comfortable Stockholm flats can afford to reject rural developments and jobs but the real people are desperate for these things.
I liked the footage of the reindeer just wandering on the main road. Maybe as we should be pushing for improvements in Road Safety (reduce the damage to cars, save a few human lives) by getting the Salmi to train or supervise their animals on the metalled roads!
In short, the video's a good start but pressure must be put on the civil service, the (non) government and we need to challenge those who have politicised our simple mining application. Gloves off, down and dirty just like they have been over the last seven years!!
And to re-iterate, no offence intended. But you do post as though you are the Sage of Omaha!
Ed... read it in the context of the linked posts. I’ve been invested here for 10-years. I’m well versed in the project and the politics. The point was a simple one... This project does not make or break Sweden or its economy. It’s not high on the political agenda (that is mercifully changing), although politically and economically mining is collectively important in Sweden. As a stand-alone project, I’m afraid it isn’t that big of a deal yet. Although we might be breaking ground metaphorically in respect of how the state machinery deals with indigenous peoples in the future. And yes, it is currently Europe’s largest un-mined ore body. BEO is small-fry. It’s important to a very small number of investors. And my posts, whilst pragmatic at times, are generally upbeat. Our future is very exciting, and I’m not going to talk down a project in which I’m heavily invested!
I've been catching up on posts of the last few days and I don't understand this one.
How do you see Kallak as "a drop in the ocean" Here's one or two plus points to consider
14 share kilometres of high grade ore, and it's not yet fully explored.
It's the largest unexploited iron ore field in Europe
When operative Kallak will provide 250 direct jobs and 300 more local support jobs for a period of 25 years
A drop in the ocean ? I don't think so
You're not filling in for a certain currently absent downbeat person are you. :o)
the next news should be the formation of a coalition gov't. I think we can all reasonably assume it won't include the Left or Greens - that should be a huge lift to the SP
Daily ramp over.
..
I wouldn’t worry Granite... the only thing that will get this moving is news. However, if I had sold out, you could guarantee that this would fly!
