That’s my point... read the conspiratorial posts! The ore body has been known about since the 1950’s. BEO didn’t discover it... but we have invested a significant amount in proving it up. And it’s true, Lkab were not interested, possibly for political reasons (let a junior take the risk, and then buy them out). Lkab is a very real possibility. And yes, I agree totally about dilution and KB. I’m positive on our prospects, and I don’t see this being ‘taken’ from BEO... A JV or buyout are most likely. What we won’t do is go it alone... And let’s face it, the authorities are now backed into a corner. It’s a yes or no decision. If it’s no, then KB has already demonstrated that he is prepared to use the courts, given our recent legal challenge in respect of two expired licences that the MI refused to extend.
A little error in line 4 of my post. it should have read "the largest and richest high grade ore PROSPECT in Europe"
There are bigger ones already being mined.
If LKAB had known that a massive amount of high grade iron ore iron was residing below Kallak I'm sure that they would have snapped up the concession. However they and other mining companies were not interested. BEM took a punt at it and discovered what is reputed to be the largest and richest high grade ore field in Europe. Kallak South has not been fully explored and defined so there could be lots more down there.
If LKAB want the Kallak ore field I would imagine that they could get it if they offer enough money to BEM who could then use the cash to develop other prospects such as the graphite and the other Swedish concessions that they hold.
I think that Kurt has played a blinder so far without pushing the company into massive amounts of debt and diluting the share price by constantly issuing multiple millions of shares as most exploration companies do. One of the companies (I forget the name) had over 3 billion shares in issue by the time they went belly up. The poor punters or course got four fifths of F-all.
All just my opinion course, but I do feel confident that we will be rewarded soon for all of the cash and patience that we've shoved into to this company over the last 6 years or so. Come on you political geniuses, get a decision made, preferably SOON.
Have a nice weekend
It was really in answer to the conspiracy theory that Kallak will somehow be taken from BEO. Our investment has been considerable for a junior exploration company, but small beer to a major I’m afraid...
What about the not so small matter of 7.7 milllion Sek? :-)
If LKAB wanted Kallak, they could have simply applied for the permit?
Exactly. It depends on the amount of compensation. Cough cough.
Good posts matey.
Big LKAB banners attached to every house moved. Apparently, the mine below (1.5km) produces 5 million tonnes per year. Must be costing a fortune for this removal.
How much easier (LKAB hindsight) to nick an ore deposit, just down the road, from those pesky British.
Here"s the plan guys. We"ll get the Government to delay their permit, forever, if needs be, to get our hands on it.
Up to now, the plan is working. They may toss a few quid to cover BEM expenses.
Over to you Kurt.
It it's that easy to move houses, I wonder how many Sami tribesmen and their reindeer you could get in the average transporter truck.
On Blaze TV, tonight 10pm.. Swedish village of Malmberget being moved in its entirety, because of iron ore mining. Whole houses being loaded onto trucks and transported. Sky 187, Virgin 216.
And still you all wonder why our permit has not been forthcoming? Pah!
It is as clear as the egg on our faces.
Or McWilliams face anyway. He"s got 39 to spare.
Aye, that would make our decade.
ARVIDSJAUR The mining permit of the Berg State for the Evafiction west of Glommersträsk is stuck. According to P4 Norrbotten, the government decided on Friday not to review the appeal from a private person opposing a mine. The reason is that the person is not considered to be affected by the mining plans and therefore has no right to appeal. It was last year that the Copperstone Resource Company was granted a processing concession for the Eva K deposit, consisting of gold, silver, lead, copper and zinc. http://mobil.pt.se/nyheter/klartecken-for-evafyndigheten-10989829.aspx
It would be good... closely followed by an RNS confirming our exploitation licence and a detailed plan of action.
I'd be happy with a rumour of news!
I agree. News and a snowball of good news at that. Your post from this morning has just appeared on my phone now. Doh!
Ed, I'm using the mobile LSE site and your first post to me only showed up after I'd posted my last post to you. Lol. My nerves are ok, I'm just bored to tears matey. I miss the drill turning and finding more iron. The JORC days of yore. I guess we all do. Holding my shares tight though, as usual. Keep patient and look forward to Christmas. Cheers Ed.
Aye Ed. Bit of paper and timely forward plan. Double figures would be a start. Kurt mentions a rerate in one of his videos, so that doesn't seem to me like only a couple of pence. Have to see though. The sp is still languishing at the moment really. Be interesting to see if the Swedes have broken the 60% holdings barrier yet. Atb.
That's an increase of 23%. Not too shabby, I wonder how high it will go on receipt of our bit of paper.
Hi Eric, how's the patience holding out, mine's teetering on the brink.
I don't think that the AIM peeps are nobheads, just very shrewd villains. They drop the price for no good reason and gullible people sell. Then they jack up the price by a big lump and peeps rush in to buy. The AIM crew are getting quite good at doing this as are the Aktie mob, they've all been practising on us for years and getting away with it.
Years ago I read their mission statement and still remember the punchline. Quote "The AMI is authorised by but not controlled by the main market." A license to print money. C'est la vie. That's my morning winge over with, time to take my medicine, a 6 pack of Corona. Shame I can't get it on prescription.
I hope you are fit and well and clinging onto sanity.. Hopefully our day will come soon.
atb
News Eric... it’s the only thing that will truly get this moving. A few rumours would help!
The nobheads have dropped the Bid back to 5.9p again. Left the Ask where it is. Greed.
A cheeky curve ball buyout from LKAB maybe. At a dreamy premium. Lol. However, and so we wait.
Our environmental submission as part of the Concession application may even be enough in itself. Things could and perhaps should happen quite quickly following the Concession award. All being well there of course. Curve balls to the good though would be nice. For a change!
Because the process has been circumvented by Politicians, it's unclear as to the next process. However, I would imagine environmental and planning submissions from BEM should follow quite quickly. How these subsequently get dealt with is another matter. And given that BEM have already submitted environmental studies in excess of those legally required, I would imagine that a large chunk of that requirement complete. I also expect a few curve balls thrown in when our exploitation licence is granted.
