Where's our Shirley Bassey admirer gone from last week? You know the one, the big suspender that bought £6 worth.
No, it was in a recent RNS. BEM had not completed any exploratory work at the sites, on the basis that we were awaiting approval on Kallak, the licences were to expire and we applied to extend. The MI refused, and as a consequence, BEM has taken the matter to the Supreme Court.
Cheers Treetop. Good point re the positive decision making and I'm pleased the Greens will hopefully have limited wind behind them now. Have to see what Kurt's move is next. Best of luck to us all.
Pocko Has that been discussed on the face book page, the refusal to extend two of our other licences, don't remember seeing anything on here, except in the annual report? I presume that is because we obtained the licences and didn't do any work with them, which is what the system is designed to prevent, but the reason why is plainly their fault, in that they have pushed us to the brink with delays and we needed to consolidate our activities to survive.
Ed. You capitalist lol
It comes down to a simple 'Yes' or 'No' in my opinion. As you state Suzy2, the arguments against were whittled down to the fine detail, which KB has essentially eliminated. That isn't to say that there will not be some caveats to a positive decision. The Swedish authorities will have to ultimately give an answer... And for those advocating legal intervention at some point, KB has demonstrated already that he is willing to use lawyers when necessary following the refusal of the MI to extend or re-issue exploration permits for two of our other licences.
Hi Suzy
I hope that you're right and the permit is nearly in the post. I've just been listening to the very positive view of the Mayor of Jokkmokk. He said "The conditions are much better today than before the election. In fact the Green Party has held back this important investment". Ain't that the truth.
I hope that those in the new government will drive this project ahead asap. That's if they ever manage to stop squabbling and put a government together. I'm just about at the end off my tether now as I want to get back to the day trading which I really enjoy doing.

The area of investigation.....yes, Aug we probably have, that was earlier in the year but always worth a look again. Narrower and narrower and down to indirect effects on Laponia is where we were then, but we've subsequently cracked that one, because the Laponia was established to be big enough to form its own buffer zone against anything happening on the boundary of it. And Mr Damberg has confirmed that "the law is enough", in which case our application must be nearly in the post.
Morning. I missed this earlier, in case any others have. Atb

Has to be most important aspect of the election from the point of view of mining. Their tendency towards constant negativity inhibits any consensus style of government from making decisions. A shift to the right may have risks in politics but usually results in an inclination to take positive decision making when it is required. As long as BEM have all the right boxes ticked we should see progress at last. All the best eric by the way.
Hi Aug. Thanks. Yes, we just don't know, but Kurt must surely be pointing now, until blue in the face, to the law. We have the added delay of the post-election jockeying to stomach, but once a new PM is nailed, then it's time for him to get tough. Immediately. In my humble. Cheers Aug.
Morning. A belated Happy Birthday Eric!
It shouldn’t matter so much to us who holds power, the MI’s legal office would be prepared to defend their stated position, if need be. Not only, if Budge has put anything extra on the table to help for a decision, it can always of course, be removed again, if it’s not working. Nothing is agreed, until everything is agreed lol. We just don’t know. Imo only. atb
Yes, purposeful mischief, I don't like that and have said as much on here prior. Fair enough what you've said Pocko. Atb.
I've dealt with tools like him most of my professional life Eric. I accept it's a public board, and people are free to post as they see fit. In fact, its positive to post different opinions and views. And we are are all alert to the historical failings of the company and particularly the Swedish Government. But it's beyond me why anyone would post to antagonise others. Attention seeking perhaps?
I hope you say the warning all over the BBC website about your Berlin Club, the Kit Kat .
I hope you check out alright and whilst you're at it you might take your partner Martina along with you.
You know it makes sense, you can't be too sure about these things.
Ed, surely if you keep filtering lb then not, it'll twist your melon more than if you simply left him unfiltered.
Don't talk****** Martina.
I have filtered you on a number of occasions when I get fed up with reading your garbage. However, when all I see on this board is angry people responding to you in droves I open the gate again and have a read of your deramping posts. When I've seen enough I bin you again as I'm about to do now. tata (again)
It still is an informed bb Pocko, but there is little to go at in terms of new developments, so of course the scarcity of meaningful debate mirrors this. Andy mentioned Facebook being better than Placera, but LSE is still a great place to share info, when we have any, and chew the fat. In my view. Fair enough if you've had it up to here with lb, I can see why, and that's your prerogative. I guess it depends what we ourselves are like Pocko. our tolerance levels. I have never filtered anyone, because not only do I like to consider all posts, but also I feel filtering would mean that the mischief and nonsense of a given person will have defeated me. Well sod that Pocko! Lol. Best wishes.
We know the state of play Eric... it is what is. But we don’t need a poster deliberately seeking to antagonise others, by their own admission, for amusement. This used to be an informed BB, but as ADF stated this morning, there are better sources out there. Facebook being one good example. It’s a pity... I don’t filter anyone, and everyone is free to post. But I have made an exception for this fool
You are bound to get it in the neck lb, rightly so, lol, but the sp speaks for itself. So far, 2018 has been another shocking year for us, in terms of Kallak. The Government shake-up can only be a good thing and Kurt surely will not tolerate more of the same treatment in any case, because otherwise this will ultimately end up being quite uninvestable. The licence must be awarded this year. In my view. Now, bugger off and enjoy Berlin. Lol.
Well you listen, and take the bait every time, despite proclaiming on countless occasions to have filtered me.
Anyway a couple of weeks ago, you said you would sell up at year end if no license. Brilliant decision. I bet you don’t disappear. You enjoy blowing your own imaginary trumpet too much.
I never decamp - horrible term - I reflect the banal, grim reality of this Swedish horror show. Happy to plough a lone furrow. It amuses me.
Now that, Ibjj, is a prime example of how skewed your logic can be: there is probably no doubt that Pocko's post has failed on the first count, if it was to stop you posting, but it can't have failed on the second count just on your say so, if he wishes to imagine moral superiority he can continue to do so, he can imagine away and its not a bad thing, moral superiority, he could do worse than be in possession of it, I try all the time, it wears me out trying.
On Wednesday lbjj posted "This is going nowhere. Completely lost all interest."
That lasted well, he's back into trolling mode. It's a good job nobody listens to his deramps.
You post away bud... but it’s a fairly obvious question to ask. Life is a little too short, I would have thought. The only poster on here that displays any sense of moral superiority is you my friend. Respect that people are invested and move on. Surely you have something better to do with your life?
Censorship alert.
Was your comment designed to stop me posting or just for you to imagine some moral superiority. Failed on both counts.
