Have been considering re-entering here, however all my cash is in SDX and they got suspended yesterday, so expect this to March North for the next week or so whilst I can't get involved, sods law. Good y'all, hopefully join the procession in not to distant.
Very upsetting to hear what you're going through and of course money and our preoccupation with it , is a sideshow to what really matters. What you describe must be a living hell for you and I don't have sufficient words to make you feel better. The age old advice is true though, things/life will get better with time, your focus determines your reality ('yoda'), in time you'll realise that life can and will be much better than where you are now, different but ok, pleasure to be had. Those 2 little princesses need Dad around and you need them, Stay strong do it for them if not yoourself and in time do it for you x.
Sorry to say Mako but the writing was on the wall when KB stated that the 'election could delay any decision'= 'there will be no decision till after the election' and then the subsequent placing at 5.5p.
I sold out at a significant loss as I suspected it would fall further throughout the summer months on no real news. In fact I've been a bit surprised it held up for longer. It'll be a long 6 weeks without news but September should see some renewed interest on anticipation, so expect it to increase from then onwards...tis all guess work of course.
Isn’t there a warning on most stock investments.... of which the conversation pertains too. Past performance is no indicator of future performance.. some may say the history of a particular stock can’t be predicted on its past...
Well blimey, usually Lbjj and I lock horns but on this one, we're in full agreement. Todays blog by Richard North is quite sobering....we're in last chance saloon. http://www.eureferendum.com/default.aspx
Truly sorry to hear you invested pension money and am now on the wrong side of your investment. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would have invested had they expected or predicted such Swedish beuracracy, interference, polotics, double standards, ineptitude, incompetence and generally unprofessional am and inconsisteny from the Swedish authorities, it’s even something the swedes are now recognising and hopefully addressing. You got in, in the days when the company was not led as professionally as it is now, though the current malaise can’t be attributed to Clive. It’s sad your suffering but then this is aim, you probably shouldn’t be investing your pension on this market. I think things will turn out well for bem and the recent cash call gives the company time, if there is not a decision in the next 12 months then you won’t be on your own calling it a dog share but I think there will be, hang in there
No I wasn't in a strop, fed up yes but the reason i sold was because you need good news and positive sentiment to maintain a sp in a non revenue making company and the company raising cash right now doesn't bode well for a near term decision otherwise they'd have laid off raising the cash for longer. The swedes might surprise us but you'd think the company with the sab with its ears to the ground would no better than us and if so todays placing indicates a decision post election to me but what do i know. I'm not a trader, I don't speculate much, I've made about 13k on two other shares this year so my portfolio is broadly even. I work fulltime and am busy generally, so I don't have time to do investing seriously or for a living. Bem has been more of a hobby and I'm still probably under water from it despite pulling out circa 45k at 12.5p last time when it went on to reach 17p before crashing, you ll remember it well having sold out at less than todays sp.
I've dumped all of mine today probably lost about13-14k in the process, not good investing (somewhat balanced by making money elsewhere but not good anyhow). I do suspect the sp will drift to the placing price over time which is what made me get out 10% above it, I hope not of course but there seems little to indicate otherwise. I will buy back in later if it drops further and I will buy back in on positive indications of an approval but for now I'm out for a few months and will try and use the money to make back the loss elsewhere. I'm disappointed in the placing at this time/price but the fact its happened now means 1 thing to me, the company hasn't got great belief in a positive decision anytime in the near future. So I'll take my chance for a few months, I don't even care if I'm wrong as the faithfull here will be justly rewarded. I haven't joined the ranks of the doomsayers and their apocalyptic prophesies, this will come good possibley sooner than any of us suspects but I'll wait in the wings a bit now. Godd luck int he short term and I'll be back in the medium term no doubt. x
Yes it's annoying but then perhaps he wanted to ensure a full take up and didn't want to let us punters have advance warning of a 20% drop, locking us all further in, I'd have bailed at potential of a 20% drop and bought back in later, I'm p@ssed off today, not that I blame kb, just sucked of with the Swedes. If Ikea in Cardiff goes up in flames tonight then I'll be clapping once I've established an alibi
Everybody new there would be a fundraise at some point. Predicting ; 'exactly' when that fund raise would is the trick, I and I suspect others had rather hoped for the concession to be approved by then or indications that it would be. This placing now is another example how Swedish beuraucracy has cost us all!. It's very very annoying but well done you.
Morning, I'm probably guilty of reading too much between the lines, the intention of RNS is I guess, is just to remind the govt that JokkMokk needs the jobs, Sweden needs the revenue and BEM has followed legally with due dilligence the process and the CAB cannot be considered to have done so, interesting times, I don't think anything is guaranteed, you'd think on paper we're in a good place but who knows with politicians with their own agendas.
Hmm...the one thing that jumped out at me from the RNS is the subtext, in black and white on the record, on paper, BEM have now directly accused the CAB of bias, is this not an upping up of the anti, can you slander an organisation, is there not the implicit suggestion here that BEM feels it has grounds to challenge a negative decision in court and is subtley inferring it?.
